Welcome to the God of War Ragnarok Trophy Guide!

5/10 Estimated Difficulty
45-55 Estimated Hours to Completion.
1 Minimum Story Playthrough
0 Missable Trophies

Overall, this is a pretty easy and straight forward Trophy list to complete. Everything here is completion and collectible based. You’re going to have to find all of the collectibles and complete every main and side quest. There are no difficulty related Trophies, so this list can be done on whatever difficulty you’d like.

There are also no missable Trophies to worry about. None of the quests or collectibles are missable.

Although there is nothing missable, not everything will be available during the story. Some of the side missions and collectibles will be inaccessible until after you’ve completed the main story. Complete what you can while playing through the story but your main focus will be getting through the story in order to open everything else up afterwards. There is free roam after completing the story, so there is no need to worry about anything here. Feel free to play through the game how you want with no fear of missing out on this Platinum. When searching for collectibles, you can open the map via the Touchpad menu and it will tell you how many of what collectible type can be found in the area.

Another thing to note here is that none of the accessibility options disable Trophies. You can change or turn on accessibility options that you want which can make the game easier if you’re struggling.

 Trials by Fire

Complete the Trials of Muspelheim

This is earned by completing “The Final Challenges” favor. There are 15 trials to complete.

First, you will need to collect two Muspelheim seed pieces. The first piece is found in a chest in Modvitnir’s Rig in Svartalfheim. The second piece is found in Alberich Hollow via Dragon Beach in Svartalfheim. You will need to have the Draupnir Spear unlocked in order to reach it.

With both seed pieces, you can then travel to Musphelheim. When you get there, there will be a Nornir chest ahead of you. You can open this chest by completing the first six trials. There are three big swords in the area with two trials on each. When the six challenges are done, you’ll complete “The Crucible” favor and the next set of challenges.

At first, the three swords will only have two tutorials on them. Once you beat them all, the Nornir Chest will be unlocked in the center of the area. After that, each of the swords will gain a third challenge and a new sword will spawn near the Nornir Chest. Complete the third challenge on the original three swords.

There will be six new trials on the fourth sword in the center of the area. In order to unlock a trial on it, you will need to beat two challenges from the original three swords in a certain order. Like a combination. It does not matter what trial you do for these and you can repeat the same one. Pick the ones that are easiest for you. For the combinations below, you only need to do one challenge from the required sword. So, do two challenges in the correct order and then head to the center sword for the new trial.

You’ll find the required materials as you complete missions and open chests throughout the open world. The materials required for level nine can be earned and farmed by completing the Muspelheim Trials.

When going for this, you need to make sure that each of the armor pieces have the same name.

The armor pieces can be upgraded at any of Brok / Sindri’s shops.

 Ragnarök

Battle the All-Father

This is an unmissable story related Trophy.

Grave Mistake

Battle King Hrólf

This is earned by completing the “Fit for a King” favor. This favor is acquired by interacting with your first Berserker Gravestone. The earliest you can do this will be after “The Word of Fate” main mission.

There are 10 Beserker Gravestones to interact with in order to fully complete this. There will also be mini bosses attached to the Berserker Gravestones with Hrólf being the final boss of them. They will be labeled on your map for each realm.

These fights, especially Hrólf, can be difficult. You’re going to want to be very prepared before taking them on. It would be preferable to wait until after you’ve completed the story and fully upgraded your armor and weapons before the fights. Always make sure that you take a Resurrection Stone with you as well. If you’re having too much trouble with the fights, you can turn down the difficulty. You can also turn on mini boss checkpoints in the accessibility settings to make this easier.

 The True Queen

Battle Gná

You’ll be able to fight Gná after completing the story. The fight takes place during the “Defend Your Value” favor.

You can start the favor by going to The Crucible in Muspelheim. From main area where the Nornir Chest is by the trials go east and you’ll need to crawl through a small opening and then swing across some gaps to reach the area. Interact with the item on the ground and Gna will appear.

Just like with Hrólf, this fight can be challenging. Make sure you’re gear is as upgraded as it can be before going to the fight. Bring a Resurrection Stone with you. Don’t forget that you can turn down the difficulty if needed as well.

Although the fight can be challenging, you can get a head’s up about which attack is coming next from her. She will yell dialogue before most of her attacks.
