Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Objectives Guide

Welcome to the Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Objectives Guide!

Each stage will have three objectives and boss battles will have one. The boss battle objectives are all time based. The objectives will not be visible on your first playthrough of the stages, but they can still be completed on your first run. However, there are objectives that contradict each other, so you won’t be able to get all three completed in one run on every stage. You’re going to need to replay some of the stages in order to fully complete them all. Because of this, that means when you complete an objective, it’s done for good. You can focus on getting one done per run if that makes it easier for you. It’ll add a lot of playtime, but it does make it easier on some of the harder objectives.

The game does autosave during stages. So, you can reload your most recent autosave to try the night over again if you happen to mess up an objective.

The strategies for the bosses will all be generally the same except for the final boss, Yatsukahagi.

New Game + Objectives Guide

First Playthrough

A video guide for the timed boss battle objectives can be found below:

Myoko Pass

  • Defeat 50 Seethe with Soh

This requires you to kill 50 enemies on the stage.

  • Defeat 50 Seethe with villagers

Assign the villagers and place them near the Tori Gate. Just wait behind them and let them kill enemies as they come out of the gate.

  • Assign 2 or more different roles

You won’t be able to do this on your first time through the stage. Replay the stage after you have unlocked at least one more role and assign at least 2 different roles to the villagers.

As soon as the fight starts, run up to the boss, call your woodcutters and use a Tsuba Guard to stun the boss, while it is stunned, use the Punishing Strike. After that, use your other 2 Tsuba Guard attacks and the battle should be over quickly.

Kakeashi Grove

  • Don’t use any Rations

For this, you will not be able to use healing items on yourself or the villagers. You can use a Shaman to heal your villagers.

  • Assign villagers 3 or more different roles

You won’t be able to do this on your first time through the stage. Replay the stage after you have unlocked at least two more roles and assign at least 3 different roles to the villagers.

  • Destroy all pots

There are pots on the ground throughout the stage. All you have to do is break each one of them. Most of them are visible, but there are some in the second half of the stage that are hidden behind structures. Swing the camera around to see them. Explore the whole stage for pots before leaving.

Kamaitachi

  • Defeat Kamaitachi within 1:30

Tsuba Guards:

  1. Suzaku’s Flame
  2. Seiryu’s Gale
  3. Genbu’s Might

Mazo Talismans:

  1. Soultaker
  2. Nyorai
  3. Bodhisattva
  4. Sacred Tamagushi

  3. Tsuba Guard Slot Increase 2
  4. Mazo Talisman Slot Increase 3
  5. Worship

Villagers:

  1. 2 Archers – Fully upgraded
  2. 2 Marksman – Fully upgraded

Call your villagers to the center of the area and begin the boss fight. As the fight begins, use Seiryu’s Gale to knock down the boss. Attack the resist meter until the boss is stunned. Hit it with a Punishing Strike. Once its back in the air, your ranged villagers should knock it back down to the ground quickly. Use your remaining Tsuba Guards and another Punishing Strike to finish it off.

Yuan Cavern

  • Complete the stage with all lanterns lit.

There are 14 lanterns to light in Yuan Cavern across both areas of the stage. Interact with them and choose a villager to come light it. Go back through and check to make sure you have lit them all before finishing the stage.

  • Complete the stage without any lanterns lit.

For this, you cannot light any of the lanterns. You’ll need to do most of the defending here, but your villagers can use the light emanating from Soh to attack enemies.

  • Don’t let Yoshiro receive any damage.

Place your villagers near the gates and kill the enemies as they come out. Keep Yoshiro away from where the fighting will take place and clean up any enemies that get through your villagers.

Mukadejoro

  • Defeat Mukadejoro within 3:00

Tsuba Guards:

  1. Suzaku’s Flame
  2. Seiryu’s Gale
  3. Genbu’s Might

Mazo Talismans:

  1. Soultaker
  2. Nyorai
  3. Bodhisattva
  4. Sacred Tamagushi

Soh Upgrades:

  1. All 4 Oka Forms
  2. Punishing Strike
  3. Tsuba Guard Slot Increase 2
  4. Mazo Talisman Slot Increase 3
  5. Worshp

Villagers:

  1. 5 Woodcutters – Fully upgraded

Once in the boss area, place a villager at each of the lanterns around the map. Do this before initiating the fight. You can place villagers on the other side of the barrier without going through it. You’ll be one villager short for lanterns. Leave the lantern on the top left of the arena empty. Once they are all placed, go over to the left side of the arena to start the fight. Immediately go to the lantern without the villager and call the one from the top right over to light. From there, work your way around the map counterclockwise lighting the lanterns. Make sure to select the villager that is standing next to the lantern to light it. Otherwise the timing will be messed up.

After the second lantern, interact with the Chozusha Basin as you pass by it and continue lighting the lanterns. Once all 6 are lit, the boss will be slowed and defenseless. Call your Woodcutters over to the boss’ head and order them to attack. From here, it’s the same strategy as the other bosses. Stun the boss, use your Punishing Strike and finish it off with your remaining Tsuba Guard abilities to finish it off. This boss can be killed before the lanterns go out.

Enri Village

  • Consume 1900 or fewer Crystals

If you’re struggling with this one, this can easily be done after completing the story and by having repaired bases. Visit the tents at each base and you’ll be given Crystals. It takes about 1400 crystals to fully purify Yoshiro. So if you have all of your bases repaired, you can go into the stage with 1400 crystals already in your inventory. Fast forward time until the fight begins. Then, just pour all your crystals into Yoshiro and the stage will end as soon as she is free.

  • Assign villagers 5 or more different roles

You’ll need to come back to this after you have unlocked at least 5 villager roles. Once you have, load up the stage and give villagers at least 5 different roles.

  • Purify 5 wild animals

For this, you’re going to need to purify 5 animals before night. Once this battle ends, the stage ends. The only chance you’ll have to get this is at the very start of the stage.

Okumiyama Passage

  • Defeat 10 Seethe using Yoshiro’s Spirit Ward

The Spirit Ward is the stone platform on the path that activates when Yoshiro stands on it. While she’s on it, it will damage and kill enemies that step into the radius. Stop Yoshiro on the platform and let the enemies get near her until 10 have died on the ward. You can do this right away in the first section. Don’t assign roles to villagers so that they do not steal her kills. After you get this done, then you can assign roles to your villagers.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Objectives Guide

  • Defeat 10 Seethe using the Hozukime explosions

Hozukime enemies are the big enemies that explode. When you kill them, their explosion radius will turn blue. When that radius appears, you can hit the Hozukime again and your attack will push them further away right before they explode. So you can push them into groups of enemies. Focus on the Hozukime. Don’t kill the other enemies around it as that will take away from your potential explosion kills. You can also make use of the contraptions on the path that block enemies from passing through. Kill a Hozukime and knock them into a group stuck at a contraption. Just remember to not repair more than 3 of them for the third objective.

The Hozukime will spawn in the second section of the stage.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Objectives Guide

  • Repair 3 or fewer contraptions with the carpenter

Contraptions are anything that the carpenter would have to repair. Just don’t repair more than 3. There are parts of the stage that your villagers can repair. Those do not count toward this. Only the contraptions that the carpenter is involved with count. So that would be all traps, walls, area buffs along the path.

Tsurube-otoshi

  • Defeat Tsurube-otoshi within 1:30

Tsuba Guards:

  1. Suzaku’s Flame
  2. Seiryu’s Gale
  3. Genbu’s Might

Mazo Talismans:

  1. Soultaker
  2. Nyorai
  3. Bodhisattva
  4. Sacred Tamagushi

Soh Upgrades:

  1. All 4 Oka Forms
  2. Punishing Strike
  3. Tsuba Guard Slot Increase 2
  4. Mazo Talisman Slot Increase 3
  5. Worship

Villagers:

  1. 5 Woodcutters – Fully upgraded
  2. 2 Archers – Fully Upgraded

Place your villagers over on the right side of the arena and then initiate the fight. Use the Chozusha Basin on the right and then hold guard. The enemy will bounce down to you, but your guard can block it. As soon as it lands, call over your villagers and order them to attack. Stun the boss and use a Punishing Strike. Save your Seiryu’s Gale and Archers to knock the boss back down to the ground when it begins flying again. You can then finish it off the second time it’s knocked down.

Moegi Ridge

  • Don’t use any rations

For this, you will not be able to use healing items on yourself or the villagers.

  • Don’t let Yoshiro receive any damage

The first thing you want to do here is get Yoshiro to the first Spirit Ward. That’ll help protect her. Then, get the carpenter going on as many surrounding contraptions as you can. For your villagers, archers and marksmen will help kill enemies from a distance, so get them up on vantage points surrounding Yoshiro. You can set up a perimeter around her with them. I also used a sumo wrestler next to Yoshiro. This next part depends on if you are going for the third objective, or if you already have it. If you do have it, stay near Yoshiro and kill anything that gets through your perimeter. If you are trying to not take damage, you can try to hang back and let the villagers clean up the enemies.

Get to the second Spirit Ward just passed the first gate. If you don’t have enough crystals, you can stay another night at the first ward to build them up. Do the same thing at the next Spirit Ward. Set up a parameter around Yoshiro and build as many contraptions as you can with the carpenter. Watch out for a Gotaimen enemy that will spawn at the third Spirit Ward. They can launch long range attacks at Yoshiro. That’ll need to be killed as quickly as possible.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Objectives Guide

Repeat the same steps above at the third Spirit Ward.

If you have already earned the third objective, you can help support the villagers by killing as many enemies as you can near the gates they come from.

  • Don’t let Soh receive any damage

This can be earned by following the same steps above for objective #2. You’ll just need to hang back away from the fighting and let your villagers take care of the enemies. If you’re confident in your guarding ability, you don’t have to stay back.

Batsu

  • Defeat Batsu within 1:00 minute

Tsuba Guards:

  1. Suzaku’s Flame
  2. Seiryu’s Gale
  3. Genbu’s Might

Mazo Talismans:

  1. Soultaker
  2. Nyorai
  3. Bodhisattva
  4. Sacred Tamagushi

Soh Upgrades:

  1. All 4 Oka Forms
  2. Punishing Strike
  3. Tsuba Guard Slot Increase 2
  4. Mazo Talisman Slot Increase 3
  5. Worship

Villagers:

  1. All Woodcutters – Fully upgraded

Call your villagers over to the right side of the arena and then initiate the fight. Use the Chozusha Basin right away and then use Genbu’s Might to stun the boss. Use a Punishing Strike on the tail of the boss. Attack the boss until it’s no longer stunned. Once that happens, use your remaining Tsuba Guards to stun it again and finish it off after another Punishing Strike.

Yuminari Lake

  • Don’t allow any Boat to sink

For this, you will need to kill enemies as quickly as you can. The longer they stay aboard or attached to your boat, the more damage they will do to the boat. Position villagers at the ends of each boat and make use of the cannons.

  • Defeat 10 Hirafugai before they reach the boat

Hirafugai are the enemies that carry the other Seethe over to your boat. You can use the cannons to kill these. Archers and marksmen can also kill them before they reach the boat. An exploding Hizukime can kill them as well.

  • Defeat 20 Seethe using the cannons

Position your villagers on the back boats so that they do not interfere by killing enemies before you can use the cannons. The cannons will be on the front left and front right boats. Interact with them when enemies are in range to fire the cannons. There will be a cooldown period before they can be used again, so make sure to not miss when firing.

Adashino Village

  • Dispel the enchantments on 10 Enhanced Seethe simultaneously

This can be earned at the very beginning of the night, but it can be a little tricky. Carve a path so that Yoshiro stops next to the drum in the center of the stage. Don’t assign any roles yet. Have the carpenter fix the wall to the left of the drum so that the enemies will be stopped behind it.

When the night starts, kill the first wave of enemies that comes from one of the side gates. Then, a Rosokuro enemy will then spawn. It will enchant other Seethe. When they are enchanted, they’ll be glowing blue. Stand at the drum and wait for at least 10 to enter the drum radius. When you have enough, interact with the drum. You can immediately check if you got 10 by pausing the game. It will tell you how many you have in the bottom left corner. You need to get 1o in a single drum use.

  • Dispel the enchantments on 30 Enhanced Seethe

You won’t be able to solely rely on the drum for this objective. But, you can use Priests to dispel enchantments. Don’t kill the Rosokuro or the enchanted enemies. Let it enchant enemies and wait for your priests to dispel them first. Use the drum when the cooldown period as ended as well.

  • Don’t dispel the enchantments on Enhanced Seethe

For this, do not use any priests and do not use the drums. Just kill the Rosokuro and any enemies it enchants.

Muenzuka Burial Grounds

  • Defeat 1 Shokera with Soh’s Counterattack skill

First, you will need to buy Soh’s Counterattack skill for 10 Musubi. It is on the top section of Soh’s upgrade wheel. Then, you will need to kill enemies until a Shokera spawns. They’re usually one last few enemies to spawn on the second section of the stage. When it does, it’ll be focused on you. So, you can kill the smaller enemies until it is just you and the Shokera left. Whittle it’s health down very low and then hold L1/LB to guard. It doesn’t have to be a perfectly timed guard. You can just hold guard until it attacks. As soon as it attacks and you guard against it, immediately press Triangle/Y to use the Counterattack skill. The timing on this is tricky. The Counterattack has to be the killing blow.

  • Use Soh’s Perfect Guard skill against Shokera attacks 3 times

First, you will need to buy Soh’s Perfect Guard skill for 5 Musubi. It is on the top section of Soh’s upgrade wheel. Then, you will need to kill enemies until a Shokera spawns. Wait for it to attack and then press L1/LB just before you get hit. Don’t kill the Shokera until you have done this 3 times. This can be paired with the first objective.

  • Don’t let Yoshiro receive any damage

You won’t have any villagers to help you out here, so you’re going to need to build as many traps as you can with the carpenter. Keep an eye on your mini map to see where enemies are spawning. Take out the bigger ones as quickly as you can and keep the fighting away from Yoshiro. You can also make use of the Spirit Ward in the second section of the stage. You’ll want to bring the Seiryu’s Gale Tsuba Guard to quickly deal with the Kamaitachi that spawn.

Bupposo

  • Defeat Bupposo within 2:00 minutes

Tsuba Guards:

  1. Suzaku’s Flame
  2. Seiryu’s Gale
  3. Genbu’s Might

Mazo Talismans:

  1. Soultaker
  2. Nyorai
  3. Bodhisattva
  4. Sacred Tamagushi

Soh Upgrades:

  1. All 4 Oka Forms
  2. Punishing Strike
  3. Tsuba Guard Slot Increase 2
  4. Mazo Talisman Slot Increase 3
  5. Worship

Villagers:

  1. None

For this fight, you’ll be alone with no villagers. Go over to the left side of the arena and initiate the fight. Use the Chozusha Basin right away and then use Genbu’s Might to stun the boss. Use a Punishing Strike and continue to damage it. Use Suzaku’s Flame when it is no longer stunned. Keep attacking and the boss will run away to get another weapon. Stand right behind the boss while it grabs the weapon and wait for it to jump back into the arena. When it jumps to come back, use Seiryu’s Gale while the boss is in the air to finish it off.

Renge Marsh

  • Don’t let Soh receive damage from the Toxic Pools

For this, you’re going to have to be very careful where you step. Do not risk jumping to the small islands around the stage. Stay on the main path and do not step in the Toxic Pools.

  • Don’t use any rations

For this, you will not be able to use healing items on yourself or the villagers. You can use a Shaman to heal your villagers.

  • Don’t let Yoshiro receive any damage

This stage can be tricky with this objective. There are some Spirit Wards you can make use of along the way as well as some carpenter contraptions. As soon as you reach the second section of the stage, get your villagers working on the bridges right away. Have both bridges being repaired at the same time. Ranged villagers can be helpful here as they can take out enemies from a distance so that you don’t have to cross through the Toxic Pools. Sumo Wrestlers are also good for guarding Yoshiro.

If she takes damage, you can reload your most recent autosave to try the night again.

Notsugo

  • Defeat Notsugo within 3:00 minutes

Tsuba Guards:

  1. Suzaku’s Flame
  2. Seiryu’s Gale
  3. Genbu’s Might

Mazo Talismans:

  1. Soultaker
  2. Nyorai
  3. Bodhisattva
  4. Sacred Tamagushi
  5. Crescendo

Soh Upgrades:

  1. All 4 Oka Forms
  2. Punishing Strike
  3. Tsuba Guard Slot Increase 2
  4. Mazo Talisman Slot Increase 3
  5. Worship

Villagers:

  1. All Woodcutters – Fully Upgraded

Call your villagers over to the left side of the arena and then initiate the boss battle. Use the Chozusha Basin right away and then use Genbu’s Might to significantly cut down the resist meter on the boss. Call your villagers over and order them to attack. Keep attacking and stun the boss. Use a Punishing Strike and deal more damage. When the boss is no longer stunned, use your other Tsuba Guards to stun it again. Punishing Strike once again and keep the attack on until it is dead.

Kamukura Shrine

All three of these objectives can easily be done in a single playthrough of the stage as long as you have fully repaired each base. Go to each base and collect your crystals from the tents until you are maxed out at 2000. Begin the stage and fast forward time until night. Then, just pour all 2000 of your crystals into Yoshiro and the stage will be complete. It takes 2000 to fully heal Yoshiro, so you can just start the stage with the needed amount and be done with it very quickly.

  • Consume 3200 or fewer crystals
  • Don’t let Yoshiro receive any damage
  • Don’t use any rations

Great Cherry Tree of Nakahara

  • Defeat Yatsuro without using the Tsuba Guard’s power

For this fight, you cannot use your Tsuba Guard powers against the boss at all.

  • Guide Yatsurao during its rush attack to hit an emerging root 2 times

The emerging root that this refers to is the woman like entity that spawns straight up from the ground. The boss will launch an unblockable attack that launches its tendril straight at you. What you need to do is get that unbloackable attack to hit that entity while it is sticking up from the ground. It won’t do both attacks right away. You’re going to have to get its health down somewhat low before it does both attacks. When it has low health and the entity is out, stand behind the entity and wait for the unblockable attack to hit. The attack should hit the entity which will stun the boss. If its health is too low, do not attack the boss while it is stunned so that you can get another opportunity to do this for 2/2. You also should not use Archers or Marksmen as they can kill the boss from a distance too early before you get the opportunity to do this.

  • Don’t let Yoshiro receive any damage

Keep your villagers around Yoshiro. Use an Ascetic to slow them down if they get near her. During the boss fight, Yoshiro will be in the middle of the area. The boss can reach her, so you need to stay over to the left or right of the arena so that the boss does not hit her when it is attacking you. Your villagers should be able to keep her protected from smaller enemies while you deal with the boss. Use Sumo Wrestlers, an Ascetic, a Shaman and Woodcutters around Yoshiro. Really, the biggest thing here is to stay away from the middle of the arena so that the boss does not hit her.

Korai Valley

  • Defeat 15 Hirafugai before they reach the boats

Hirafugai are the enemies that carry the other Seethe over to your boat. You can use the cannons to kill these. Archers, marksmen and cannoneers can also kill them before they reach the boat. An exploding Hizukime can kill them as well.

  • Defeat 5 Seethe using lightning strikes

The lighting will strike in fixed locations, but randomly. They strike the cannons. So, you’re going to need to let some enemies onto the boats so that they can be struck by lightning. They will be struck by lightning if they are near the cannon that is struck.

  • Defeat 50 Seethe using the cannons

Unlike in the previous boat stage, every boat has a cannon on it this time. You’re going to need to keep an eye on your mini map to see what direction the enemies are coming from and then quickly head over to that cannon. You’re going to be bouncing between these cannons a lot. Having too many ranged villagers can hurt you on this objective as they can steal kills from a distance. Try not to have ranged villagers when attempting this objective. You want to be able to maximize your kills with the cannons as the cooldowns are pretty long.

Kiritake Village

  • Don’t let Yoshiro receive any damage

There are a few Spirit Wards you can use along the path in both sections of the stage. You will also want to build as many contraptions as you can with the carpenter here. Take the Esteemed Craftsman Mazo Talisman to help cut down on construction time here. There are going to be a lot of bigger enemies here. You need to deal with these as quickly as you can. The ones that are a real pain are the Gotaimen enemies. They can launch attacks from a distance and target Yoshiro. Upgraded Sumo Wrestlers and Ascetics are good for guarding Yoshiro as well.

If she takes damage, you can reload your most recent autosave to try the night again.

  • Don’t let any villagers become cocooned

A villager will become cocooned when their health is depleted. So, you’re going to need to keep an eye on their health bars and use rations when needed. Make sure you also have a Shaman assigned. They will restore health to your villagers as long as they are in the Shaman’s radius.

  • Destroy all pots

There are 20 pots to break. 10 are found in the first section of the stage. 2 of those require the Butterfly Shot arrow skill for Soh. This costs 15 Musubi. You will need to hold L2/LT and aim at little sign posts. You’ll be transported over to the sign post. One of them is to the right of the Torii Gate on the right side path. The other is in the back  left corner near a river near the left path.

The other 10 are found in the second section of the stage. None of those require any additional skills.

Raikobo

  • Defeat Raikobo within 3:00

Tsuba Guards:

  1. Suzaku’s Flame
  2. Seiryu’s Gale
  3. Genbu’s Might

Mazo Talismans:

  1. Soultaker
  2. Nyorai
  3. Bodhisattva
  4. Sacred Tamagushi
  5. Crescendo

Soh Upgrades:

  1. All 4 Oka Forms
  2. Punishing Strike
  3. Tsuba Guard Slot Increase 2
  4. Mazo Talisman Slot Increase 3
  5. Worship

Villagers:

  1. All Woodcutters – Fully Upgraded

Call your villagers over to the left side of the arena and initiate the fight. Use the Chozusha Basin right away and then use Genbu’s Might to lower the resist meter. Stun the boss and use a Punishing Strike. When it gets back up, use your other Tsuba Guards to try and stun it again to repeat the process. Keep your villagers on the attack if it moves places in the arena.

Narusawa Wind Caves

  • Don’t let a single lantern be extinguished

The easiest way to get this completed is to not light the lanterns until the end of each section of the stage. You should also use the Floating Lantern Mazo Talisman. This will increase the radius of light that Soh gives off. Your villagers will only attack when the enemies are in the light. So, making this bigger will help. When you get through the first section of the stage, then go back and light all the lanterns. Even though you’re in the second section of the stage, the Hikeshibaba will still run back to the first section of the stage to extinguish the lanterns. So you will need to keep an eye out for that enemy type. They won’t bother fighting. They just run straight back to the lanterns. This is easier to manage as there is only one way back to the first section. Make sure to check for any red icons head that direction.

When Yoshiro is able to reach the door of the second stage, go through and light all of the remaining lanterns in the second stage. Once they are all lit, exit the stage to complete it. There are 22 lanterns. 10 are found in the first section and 12 are found in the second. If at any point a lantern is extinguished, reload your most recent autosave and try the night again. Doing it this way will also complete the third objective in the same playthrough.

  • Complete the stage with all lanterns lit

See the first objective for more information.

Yamasuso Lodging

  • Defeat 15 Seethe using Soh’s Punishing Strike skill

Before you can complete this objective, you will need to first buy the Punishing Strike skill for 20 Musubi. The mini boss enemies will have a yellow bar that is next to their health bars. The enemies will be stunned when that yellow bar is depleted. While they are stunned, a red circle will appear on them. Press Triangle/Y while the circle is red and you’ll perform a Punishing Strike. The Tsuba Guard, Genbu’s Might, will stun enemies. You can also buy the Oka Form skills for Soh to inflict stun on the resist bar. Just don’t finish the stage until you have completed the objective.

  • Don’t assign a villager the Ascetic role

All you have to do here is not use the Ascetic role for the entire stage.

  • Defeat 20 Seethe using other Seethe attacks

As you progress through the stage, Hozukime will eventually spawn. Just don’t finish the stage until you have completed the objective.

Yatsukahagi

  • Defeat Yatsukahagi within 3:00 minutes

Tsuba Guards:

  1. Suzaku’s Flame
  2. Seiryu’s Gale
  3. Genbu’s Might

Mazo Talismans:

  1. Soultaker
  2. Nyorai
  3. Bodhisattva
  4. Sacred Tamagushi
  5. Crescendo

Soh Upgrades:

  1. All 4 Oka Forms
  2. Punishing Strike
  3. Tsuba Guard Slot Increase 2
  4. Mazo Talisman Slot Increase 3
  5. Worship

Villagers:

  1. All Sorcerers – Fully Upgraded

This fight will go a little differently strategy wise than what we have been doing.

When the fight starts, keep your Sorcerers at the spawn point. Use the Chozusha Basin and then quickly get to the boss and use Genbu’s Might to stun it. Use Punishing Strike and then kill the enemies that have come out of the Torii Gate. Once they’re dead, attack the fingers that made the gate so that it goes away and stops spawning enemies. Wait in the middle of the arena so that the boss comes back. When it jumps, use guard and stay away from your Sorcerers so that they aren’t interrupted. When the boss lands, use your other Tshuba Guard abilities to stun the boss again. By this time, your Sorcerers should have charged up and you can fire off their attack that will start a cutscene that will severely damage the boss. Look in the top left corner of the screen to see if it is charged yet or not. You can cycle through your Tsuba Guards to select it. It will be a glowing knot in the rope. Use R2/RT to activate it. It should die here. The timing of getting the boss to come back to the middle lane may vary, so it might take a reload or 2 until it works.

Great Shrine Passage

  • Assign every role to the villagers

There are 12 different roles. You will need to assign all 12 roles during this boss rush stage.

  • Complete the stage without Soh entering the Spirit Stage

For this, Soh cannot die. This will sound tough being that it is a boss rush stage, but if you have already done the timed objectives for the bosses leading up to here, you can employ the exact same strategies described above here. You’ll be able to get through this just fine if you have already completed all the time trials.

  • Don’t use any rations

For this, you will not be able to use rations on yourself or the villagers. You can use a Shaman to heal your villagers. If a villager dies, it really isn’t too bad as each fight gives you new villagers. Also, if you’ve used the strategies described above for the timed boss objectives, you’ll be finishing these fights so quickly that you won’t need rations.
