Room 1665 is an extra piece of free DLC that has been added to Vampire Survivors. You do not have to buy anything in order to gain access to the content or Trophies/Achievements. Just like with the rest of the game, nothing is missable. You do however have to do certain things in order. First, you will need to unlock Room 1665. This is done by entering “forbiddenbox” in the secrets menu. This will give you access to the content. Then, you will need to earn the “EXTRA: Darkasso” Trophy/Achievement. After that, you can then go about unlocking everything else here.
The only important thing to know ahead of time is that these will not pop if you are playing on endless for the stages. Do not enable endless mode here.

EXTRA: Room 1665
Dare to cast the spell “forbiddenbox”.
Earning this Trophy/Achievement will unlock Room 1665. From the main menu, select “Secrets” and enter “forbiddenbox.” After entering the code, you’ll automatically begin the stage with the character you last used. After playing through it once, the stage will be on your stage list.
The secrets menu is unlocked by picking up the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane in the Bone Zone stage. The Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane is dropped by killing the Sketamari boss enemy. The Bone Zone is unlocked by unlocking Hyper Mode for 3 stages. Hyper Mode is unlocked by killing the bosses that spawn at the 25 minute mark of the base stages.
EXTRA: Darkasso
Be embraced by the Darkasso.
The Darkasso is a relic than can be picked up in Room 1665. In order to get it, you will need to kill enemies until it spawns. You’ll be stuck in a room at the start of the stage with a door at the bottom that is locked. The door will open after 100 kills. Each room of this stage will work this way. Each door will be opened after every 100 kills. You will need to keep killing enemies until you reach the final room where the Darkasso will be waiting.
EXTRA: VI – Moonlight Bolero
Get touched by the Darkasso.
After you have picked up the Darkasso, choose the available Darkana. Afterwards, you can quit the stage and this will pop.
EXTRA: I – Sapphire Mist
Reach a Cooldown bonus of -85% with Space Dude.
First, you will need to have unlocked Space Dude. He is unlocked by surviving for 20 minutes in Space 54. Space 54 is unlocked by collecting 5 Gold Fingers in Astral Stair. You will also need to have Darkanas unlocked. You also cannot do this on Endless Mode.
Before going for this, make sure you buy both ranks of “Cooldown” from the PowerUp menu at the main menu. Each rank of that is -2.5% cooldown. So, buy both and you’ll automatically begin the stage with -5% cooldown.
Choose Space Dude and start Inlaid Library. At the start, choose the XX – Silent Old Sanctuary Arcana. This will give you -8% Cooldown for each empty weapon slot. So, do not pick up any other weapons. You want to leave 5 weapon slots open. Skip or Banish any weapons when you level up if needed. This will give you -40% Cooldown. With the Cooldown PowerUp fully ranked up, you will also have -5% cooldown. So, you’ll be starting with -45% cooldown right away.
From there, go left on the map and pick up the Empty Tome. The Empty Tome gives you -8% Cooldown per rank. Once you have the Empty Tome, level it up all the way and you’ll reach -85% Cooldown. Once you have that, quit the level to pop the Trophy/Achievement.
EXTRA : X – Hail from the Future
Trigger a Weird Souls Purifier with Santa Ladonna.
Select Santa Ladonna and then load up any stage. You can make this a little faster by choosing Mad Forest as the Clover is an in-game pick up.
Evolve the Santa Javelin.
- Santa Javelin Lv. 8 + Clover Lv. 5 = Seraphic Cry
Once you have the Seraphic Cry, you’ll then need to pick up a Rosary. These are dropped by destroying light sources. Make sure to destroy light sources while you work on leveling up the Clover and Santa Javelin. If you find a Rosary, do not pick it up. Leave there until you have evolved the Santa Javelin and then go pick it up.
You can quit out after the short event happens upon picking up the Rosary.
EXTRA: XII – Crystal Cries
Trigger a Starry Heavens with She-Moon Eeta.
Select She-Moon Eeta and then load up any stage. You can make this a little faster by choosing Dairy Plant as the Wings item is an in-game pick up. You’ll need to find an Orologion for this as well. Because of that, you can choose the XII – Out of Bounds Arcana. This will make Orologoins spawn more often.
Evolve the Glass Fandango.
- Glass Fandango Lv. 8 + Wings Lv. 5 = Celestial Voulge
Once you have the Celestial Voulge, you’ll then need to pick up an Orologoin. These are dropped by destroying light sources. Make sure to destroy light sources while you work on leveling up the Wings and Glass Fandango. If you find an Orologoin, do not pick it up. Leave there until you have evolved the Glass Fandango and then go pick it up.
You can quit out after the short event happens upon picking up the Orologoin.
EXTRA : XXI – Wandering the Jet Black
Reach 665 Max Health with Bat Robbert.
Select Robbert and then load up any stage. You can make this a little faster by choosing Mad Forest as the Hollow Heart is an in-game pick up.
Before going for this, make sure you buy all ranks of “Max Health” from the PowerUp menu at the main menu. Each rank will increase your health by +10%. There are 3 ranks for a total of +30%.
When the stage begins, choose the IX – Divine Bloodline Arcana. This will give you +0.5% max health every time you attack after being damaged. So, let an enemy hit you and then your next attack will increase your health. You can keep repeating that and your health will keep increasing.
Go pick up the Hollow Heart to the north. This will increase your health by 20% per rank. So make sure to max that out.
Also, go to the left side of the map and pick up the Metaglio Left item. This will increase your max health +5% each time you level it up.
Fully level up the Hollow Heart and Metaglio Left while letting yourself take a little damage before attacking and your max health will continuously increase. If your health is too low, heal with a chicken and then continue with the method until your health is either at 665 or higher.
