Welcome to the Indiana Jones & the Great Circle Trophy Guide & Roadmap!
- 4/10 – Estimated Difficulty
- 30 – 35 Estimated Hours to Completion
- 1 – Minimum Play-Through
- 0 – Missable Trophies/Achievements
- 0 – Difficulty Related Trophies/Achievements
- 0 – Online Trophies/Achievements
This is an overall stress free Trophy/Achievement list to complete. Everything can be done in a single playthrough, there are no missables and everything can be done on the lowest difficulty setting, if you chose. There are a few miscellaneous Trophies/Achievements to earn, but the majority of this list is tied to collectibles, and completing missions. In addition to the main story missions, there are side missions that are called, Fieldwork. None of these are missable and can be completed at any time. Including after the story. That goes for the collectibles as well. Everything can be done during or after the story.
Collectibles
Speaking of collectibles, there are a lot. Fortunately, you do not have to worry about missing any of these, as previously mentioned. There are also books that can be purchased for every collectible type that will add their locations to your map. Once the books have been purchased, you will need to go into your journal and select the collectible type and they will then be displayed. It works like you’re tracking an objective. So, your map won’t be covered in icons. You’ll only see what is currently selected.
Step 1
The game is broken up into several different locations. Each of these locations are open areas. You won’t be able to fully explore the areas until you have progressed the main story as well Fieldwork. So go ahead and advance the story while picking up any collectibles on your way through. There are a lot of them, so make sure to thoroughly check the locations as you make your way through them. You’ll want to also complete Fieldwork.
Step 2
Once all of the main missions and Fieldwork have been completed in a location, you’ll then have access to the entire location. So you can go through and collect all of the collectibles found wherever you are. You can save collectible hunting for post game, if you’d like. Or, you can completely finish a location before moving on to the next. That is up to you. While you’re working on collectibles, make sure to be knocking out any of the miscellaneous Trophies/Achievements that you need as well. Some of them are location specific.
While working on collectibles, DO NOT insert any of the Relics you collect into the final door until you have all 50. More on that below.
Step 3
This step is just mop up. Go and clean up anything you may have missed during the game.
Bugs
While there is nothing missable in a more traditional sense, there is a bug to keep an eye out for. In Sukhothai, there is a photo that can bug out. The Uncle Sunan photo has a high probability of not registering. If you collect everything and “Archivist” does not pop, there is fortunately a fix. Go to the Fountain of Confession entrance in The Vatican and take a picture of the entrance where you solved the puzzle to enter earlier in the game. For whatever reason, this can pop the glitched “Archivist” Trophy/Achievement. This was something that popped the Achievement for me after the Uncle Sunan photo failed to register.
Another bug to that you need to look out for involves the Relics. There are 50 Relics that you need to collect. There is a door in the final area of the game that requires you to insert all 50 Relics in it in order to open it. DO NOT insert any of the Relics into that door until you have all 50 of them in your inventory first. If you insert any of them before getting this Trophy/Achievement, it will glitch. You’re able to pull the Relics out of the door and they’ll go back to your inventory, but the Trophy/Achievement will not pop if you do that. So, ignore that final puzzle door until you have popped the “Shadows out of Time” Trophy/Achievement.
There are puzzles that require you to insert Relics into smaller doors. These are okay to use. Your Relics will be automatically returned to your inventory after these puzzles. If you don’t solve the puzzles, you will need to manually take out each relic from the puzzles. Again, these smaller ones are okay. It’s just the last door that requires all 50 of your Relics to open that will be bugged.
