Playthrough 1
For your first playthrough, you’re going to want to collect all collectibles, earn the miscellaneous combat related Trophies, fully upgrade your Temporal Shell, upgrade your weapons as well as earn The Orthodox. Finish the game with Edward Wisniewski, Artur Baryka and Dawid Zybert’s essences in your Phylactery. This will earn two Trophies upon completing the game. You can collect 2 Fallen Travelers on this playthrough for The Preserver, but make sure to erase them when adding the essences for The Orthodox. Also, there is a choice to make after the final boss fight. You have two options and there is Trophy tied to making both. Instead of having to playthrough two times for these, you can simply reload your autosave after completing the game to load back in just before the final boss fight. So, make a choice, reload your save and then make the opposite choice to knock these both out.
Also, you’re going to want to make sure you are upgrading your inventory regularly so that you have room to pick up Cores and Valuables. There are “safe rooms” through out the game that each have a Stash in them. Store anything you don’t need in these in order to keep your inventory freed up.
You can follow the Cronos: The New Dawn Collectible guide for the locations of everything required.
Playthrough 2
For the second playthrough, you’re going to want to play New Game + on hard difficulty. Enemies will be tougher and there will be fewer checkpoints, but you will get to carry over all of your upgraded weapons and gear. You will also be able to craft Arbalest rounds on NG+. This will make the boss fights much easier. If you earned The Orthodox on your first playthrough, you will then want to earn Togetherness as well as the remaining Fallen Traveler essences for The Preserver on this playthrough. Togetherness is earned by having Lidia Marzec, Marcel Marzec and Krzysztof Marzec in your Phylactery together at one time. You don’t need to beat the game with them, you just need all three together once.
Aside from that, you will also need to select a new choice after beating the final boss in order to get a third ending.
The Traveler
You collected all the Trophies.

The Catfinder
Pet all the cats.
There are 10 cats to pet through out the game. After petting a cat, they will drop a reward. You can follow the collectible guide for their exact locations.
Unadulterated Joy
Find all of the comic books.
There are 10 comic books to find. You can follow the collectible guide for their exact locations.
The Archivist
Find all of the Travelogs.
There are 27 Travel Loga to find. These look like small boxes with green lights on them. You can follow the collectible guide for their exact locations.
To Bring Them Back
Transfer an Essence from a fallen Traveler.
See “The Preserver” Trophy below for more details.
The Preserver
Transfer the Essences from all fallen Travelers.
There are 5 fallen Travelers to find through out the game. When you find them, you can transfer their essence over to you. These will grant minor buffs to your character. You can only have three of them at a time. When you find more, you will need to completely erase one in order to add the new one. There are two Trophies that require you to have certain essences with you.
The Orthodox requires you to have Edward, Artur and Dawid’s essences all with you when you beat the game. You cannot erase any of these three when going for this Trophy.
Togetherness requires you to have Krzyztof, Lidia and Marcel with you at one time. For this, you do not need to beat the game with them. This will pop as soon as you have all three with you. After this pops, you can then erase them for the remaining fallen Traveler’s essences.
You can follow the collectible guide for their exact locations.
The Boon Of The Relics
Find all the weapons.
There are 7 weapons to collect. You can follow the collectible guide for their exact locations.
The Contribution
Sell 15 valuable items.
Valuable items are items that you can find while exploring. These are meant to be sold at Workstations. There are more than 15, but all of them are listed in the collectible guide. You get energy for selling them which is the currency required for upgrading weapons and gear.
You can follow the collectible guide for their exact locations.
Resources Are Scarce
Fabricate an item.
See the “To Pave The Path” Trophy below for more details.
To Pave The Path
Fabricate all item types.
There are only 8 item types to fabricate. Items are fabricated with Chemicals, Metal Scraps or both. Both of which are found by exploring the various areas of the game. Items are fabricated in the Touchpad menu. The types of items that can be fabricated are unlocked as you progress through the game by finding the item. Once you collect an item, you can then fabricate it.
- Handgun Ammo
- Shell Patch (Small)
- Shotgun Shells
- Torch Fuel
- Shell Patch (Medium)
- Carbine Cartridge
- Pyre
- Shell Patch (Large)
Fire. Spreading.
Set 5 enemies on fire with a single burst of the Torch.
The Torch is used by pressing
when you have a cannister in your inventory. An easy place to earn this is toward the end of the game during the boss fight with Eliza. Enemies will continuously spawn during this fight and you can easily kite them in such a way that five will group up.
Efficiency Discipline
Defeat 2 enemies with a single Sword projectile.
The Sword is the handgun you start the game with. You need to hold
to charge up a shot. The headless enemies are the easiest ones to earn this on as they are fairly weak. If you don’t have this by the time you fight Eliza, you can easily earn it there as headless enemies will bunch up here. Fire a shot when one is standing in front of the other to kill them both. The Eliza fight is also good because it is late in the game and your damage will likely be upgraded quite a bit.
The Anvil Of The Collective
Defeat 4 enemies with a single Hammer shot.
The Hammer is the first shotgun that you can find. The headless enemies are the easiest ones to earn this on as they are fairly weak. If you don’t have this by the time you fight Eliza, you can easily earn it there as headless enemies will bunch up here. Fire a shot when at least 4 are bunched up together. The Eliza fight is also good because it is late in the game and your damage will likely be upgraded quite a bit.
The Annihilator
Defeat 5 enemies with a single Arbalest round.
The Arbalest is the second to last weapon that you can find. Shots with this weapon are big explosions that cover a wide area. You can only find ammo for this on your first playthrough, so make sure to save at least one round if you’re looking to get this out of the way. On New Game +, ammo for this weapon can be crafted. Much like the other weapon Trophies, this can very easily be earned during the fight with Eliza.
Rapid Oxidation
Burn the Biomass.

Don’t Let Them Merge
Burn 25 dead Orphans.
Enemies in this game are called Orphans. When you kill them, their bodies will stay laying on the ground so that other Orphans can come and absorb their abilities. In order to earn this, you just need to burn 25 dead enemy bodies. Doing so will prevent other enemies from absorbing their abilities. You can use Torches by pressing
, Pyres by holding
or by shooting fuel containers.
Raging Bull
Defeat an enemy with a melee attack.
Press
for a swinging melee or
(while not aiming) for a stomp attack. Weaken an enemy by shooting it and then you can finish it off with a melee attack. The headless enemies are the weakest.
Better Than One
Defeat 25 enemies with a headshot.
All you have to do here is aim for the head when shooting enemies. Upgrading the stability of your weapons can help with your accuracy here if needed.
May It Serve You Fault-Free
Fully upgrade a single weapon.
See “The Praetorian” below for more details.
The Praetorian
Fully upgrade all weapons.
Weapons are upgraded at Workstations by spending energy. Energy is collected by selling valuable items and by finding it as you explore the game. There are only 7 weapons to fully upgrade.
Fortunately, you do not need to have them all upgraded at the same time. That would take several extra playthroughs to reach the required amount of energy to do that.
Collect as much energy as you can throughout the game. Then, you can do this at the final Workstation before the final fight. In the Workstation, you can reset every upgrade for each weapon and get all of your energy back. If you reset all of your weapons and have 82,000 energy, you can upgrade a weapon, reset it to get energy back and then upgrade the next weapon. You can repeat that process until you have upgraded all 7 weapons. You can do them one at a time. Once a weapon has been fully upgraded, it will checked as completed for the sake of the Trophy. Resetting the upgrades will not impact the Trophy counter.

- Resources Limit
Cores are a collectible that can be tracked via the collectible guide. There are 37 Cores to collect and 36 are needed in order to fully upgrade your Temporal Shell. Your upgrades will be carried over to New Game + if you don’t upgrade them all in your first playthrough.

If you did this Trophy first, you can reload your autosave which should be just before the final boss fight, and then choose the “Shoot” option to earn the other ending choice Trophy.
I Am Free

If you did this Trophy first, you can reload your autosave which should be just before the final boss fight, and then choose the “Spare” option to earn the other ending choice Trophy.
Shell Not Compromised
Finish the game in the Hard Mode.
Hard mode and New Game + are unlocked when you complete the game for the first time. You cannot play on hard for your first playthrough. Given how that is how it works, you can play through the game on hard mode through New Game+. All of your upgrades and weapons will be carried over making this much easier. There are not as many autosave locations on hard, but it shouldn’t matter too much as you will have all of your upgraded gear on NG+. Playing on NG+ will also give you the ability to craft Arbalest ammo which will make boss fights significantly easier.
Free From All The Scars
Save both Weronikas.
This is an ending Trophy that can only be earned by playing New Game+. After the final boss fight, select the option, “Begin Anew” in order to earn this Trophy.
You Never Give Up
Finish the game in the NG+.
See the “Shell Not Compromised” above for more details.
The Orthodox
Finish the game only with the Essences appointed by the Collective.
MISSABLE
As you make your way through the game, you will collect essences from other characters. These will grant buffs to you. When you absorb an essence, it will be added to your Phylactery. You can only have three essences at a time. If you collect more, then you will need to permenantly erase one that you have with you.
For The Orthodox, you need to have the following three essences with you when you beat the game:
- Edward Wisniewski
- Artur Baryka – You will be given the choice during a cutscene for this one. You must pick Artur. Do not let the timer run out. Otherwise, the game will give you someone else by default.
- Dawid Zybert
For Togetherness you need to have the following three essences with you at one time. You do not have to beat the game with these three. Just have all three together once:
- Lidia Marzec
- Marcel Marzec
- Krzysztof Marzec
The locations of each essence are detailed in the collectible guide.
Punks Not Dead!
Finish the game with Edward’s Essence.
MISSABLE
See “The Orthodox” Trophy above for more details.
Togetherness
Gather together the Essences of Lidia, Marcel and Krzysztof.
MISSABLE
See “The Orthodox” Trophy above for more details.
The Pyromaniac
Burn Biomass with the Pyre.
Biomass is like nets made out material from the enemies. You’ll be given a tutorial early in the game on how to burn biomass. For this Trophy, you need to use a Pyre to burn one away. These are an item that you will eventually find as you make your way through the game. They are proximity mines that will burn enemies when they get near. After finding one, you can then craft them. Set one of these down by biomass and then melee it to set it off. You’ll want to save your ammo and you don’t take fire damage. So using a melee attack will not hurt you.
