Welcome to The Outer Worlds 2 Trophy Guide & Roadmap!
- 6.5/10 – Estimated Difficulty
- 70 – 80 – Estimated Hours to Completion
- 2 – Minimum Play-Throughs Recommended
- 17 – Missable Trophies
- 2 – Difficulty Related Trophy
- Must beat the game on Hard/Very Hard
- 0 – Online Multiplayer Trophies
Playthrough #1 – Story/Normal
There is a lot going with this Trophy list and it can be a little much to keep track of.
For the first playthrough, I would recommend going in on either Story or Normal difficulty to knock out the majority of the Trophies here. If you want everything in as few playthroughs as possible, you’re going to need to make use of manual saves. The Trophy, Anti-Consumerist, requires you to not spend a single bit (money) on anything during the entire game. You’ll want to do this on the easier difficulty playthrough. When it comes to Very Hard, you’re gonna need to buy some gear to help you through it. So knock this one out here. You want to get as much done as possible on this run so that you only need to focus on getting through the game on Very Hard for playthrough #2.
There is no free roam after the story, so you’ll need to have cleaned everything up before going to the point of no return. The game will tell you where that point is and will give you the chance to go finish whatever you need to do.
As for skills, you’re going to need to have Speech at 14 in order to convince both factions to work together. So make sure to get that taken care of. The Brawny trait is useful for reaching some collectible cards. Observation 6 is also needed to find cards that are hidden behind posters and false walls.
The Trophies you’ll want to aim for on this playthrough are listed below:
- Anti-Consumerist
- Capture The Archive the Hard Way
- One For All
- All For One
- All for None – via manual save usage
- Rift Drifter
- OA: Objectives Accomplished
- AC: All Complete
- Corporation Cooperation – This is optional as getting them to work together on Very Hard can be helpful.
- Winning Hearts and Heads
- Whew, That’s Enough! – This is optional as the cards offer permanent stat boosts when collected. You can get them on Very Hard to help with that difficulty if needed.
- SA Quarterlies Quantified
- Golden Ridge Murals In Plural
- Praetor Towers Powered
- Cloister Excogitation Logs CEL-ebration
- Well Dressed
- Destroyer of Worlds
- All of the miscellaneous combat Trophies
There is a Trophy, Everything Must Go, for earning 50,000 bits by selling items to vendors. You can work on this here too, but you’re going to need to make use of the junk you collect for crafting items. You can’t buy anything on this run, so you may not want to sell everything you find. That’s up to you. Work on that one how you see fit.
Faction Related Trophies
This is where things can get a little messy. But, there is a way through it all.
If you want everything done in as few playthroughs as possible, you’re going to need to make use of manual saves here. There are four Trophies that all cancel each other out; OA: Objectives Accomplished, AC: All Complete, Corporation Cooperation and Capture The Archive the Hard Way.
I found it best to not do any of the faction related quests until I reached the point of no return for the factions. This point is the main quest, Complete a Complication with the Computronic Cerebrum, on Cloister. When you land on Cloister, make a manual save that you can come back to. You can explore the planet/grab collectibles/companion quests etc. while here, just do not advance the main story or any faction quest until you are ready. You also may want to keep manual saves before turning in any quests, just in case the conversation does not go the correct way. There are many permutations of how conversations can go. It depends on character builds (skill checks) and previous choices.
This is the order I did everything in:
Manual Save before speaking with either faction and before going to the Archive.
- Capture The Archive the Hard Way
Head straight for the Archive. Do not talk to either faction. When you get there, your companions will tell you that you should get help, but you’re going to need to ignore them and continue on without help. This Trophy refers to receiving help from other factions, NOT your companions. You can bring companions.
Once you earn this Trophy. Reload your save from before doing this and then start on the factions.
- AC: All Complete
Before going to the Archive, head to the ACS Undisputed Claim and begin the questline for Auntie’s Choice. It will be an optional objective for Complete a Complication with the Computronic Cerebrum. Complete the Now Hiring: Invaluable Disposable Agent quest to start the questline.
- Mysteries of the Mental Moderators – Agree to join the faction.
- Recall Order for the Trifurcated Brain
- The Last Day of William Wray
- The Mechanical Matriarch
- Head Games of the Marketing Maven
Once you’ve earned this Trophy, you can then reload your save from before.
- OA: Objectives Accomplished
Before going to the Archive, you need to go to Laplace’s Garden and speak with Laureate Kraft to begin the questline for the Order.
- A Study in Disruption
- Crash Course in Telemetry – Agree to join the faction.
- Methods of Applied Force
- Agenda for Altered States
- Advanced Tessellation Theory
- The Final Lesson
Once you’ve earned this Trophy, you can then reload your save from before.
- Corporation Cooperation
In order to get this, you’re going to need to have Speech 14.
Head to the ACS Undisputed Claim and go to Value Added Esplanade and enter the Head Tower Office. Once there, speak with Vice President Gertie Hewett and agree to help unite the two factions.
From there, you will need to complete just a couple quests for each faction:
The Order of the Ascendant
- A Study in Disruption
- Crash Course in Telemetry
- At the end of this quest, you need to tell Ruth that you are working on negotiating a truce. Vicar Laureate Alden Levin will approach you before speaking with Ruth about the truce and you’ll be given the Equitable Arrangement quest.
Auntie’s Choice quests:
- Now Hiring: Invaluable Disposable Agent
- Mysteries of the Mental Moderators
- At the end of this quest, you need to ask Auntie if she is willing to speak with Ruth.
With both sides ready to negotiate, you will need to navigate a conversation between the two sides. Make a save before doing this conversation in case it doesn’t go the correct way. Afterwards, both sides will agree to work together.
Playthrough #2 – Very Hard
For your second playthrough, you’re going to want to play on Very Hard. The difficulty related Trophies stack, so you can get them both here. With everything else taken care of, you can just focus on getting through this difficulty.
Bugged
I’ve run into 2 Trophies that I can confirm are bugged, they are All For None and Go Out With a Bang.
You can follow The Outer Worlds 2 Collectible Guide for the various types of collectibles found in the game.
The majority of the guide is complete, but I’m still adding some tweaks and trying some different methods for some Trophies.

Hard

See the “Very Hard” Trophy below for more details.
Very Hard
Completed the game on Very Hard difficulty
Beating the game on Very Hard will also unlock the Trophy for beating it on Hard. Fortunately, those Trophies stack.
Obviously, very hard will be tough at first, but will get somewhat easier as you progress through the game and level up your character. Here are some general tips to help you get through the difficulty.
- Raise your speech and leadership skills. These will allow you to skip fights as you can just convince other characters to stand down through conversation.
- Each time you level up your gun skill, it will increase how much damage you do with guns.
- Loot and steal everything you come across. You can use the junk to craft gear, or sell it to vendors. If you’re stealing, make sure to crouch first so that you will know if you are detected or not.
- Do not do your Anti-Consumerist run on very hard. You don’t need to make the game harder by not being to buy gear.
- Be patient during gun fights. Try to kill enemies from as far as you can and don’t rush into groups.
- Accept the Wasteful flaw. This will guarantee ammo on every enemy you kill when you loot them.
- Do companion quests for your crew. Doing them makes them stronger. Make sure to level them up.
- Level up lockpicking. This will help by open lootable containers or locked doors. In addition to that, you’ll get XP for lockpicking things.
- Get Rookie’s Revenge as soon as you can if you need the Maximum Gun Trophy. Aside from the Trophy, the gun gets stronger on its own the more use it, so it will be helpful here.
- Grab cards when you come across them as they can give permanent stat boosts when collected.
- Buy the A New Point of View Mk 2 helmet from Fionna F. Walker. This helmet will allow you to pay bits to be revived.
- For the Archive, have the Order and Auntie’s Choice work together.
Elemental Maelstrom
Killed a single enemy that has been affected by all possible damage types
In order to earn this, you’re going to have inflict all of the status effects listed below:
- Corrosive
- Frost
- N-Ray
- Plasma
- Shock
When you attack an enemy with any of the damage types, a status effect meter will appear of that type. In order to inflict an enemy with it completely, the meter needs to be completely filled. You don’t need to have them all going at the same time, you just need to fully inflict each one once on the same enemy. After you’ve done all damage types, kill the enemy.
This can actually be earned fairly easily by using the Spectrum Dance Saber. The Dance Saber is bought or stolen from Fionna F. Walker on Free Market Station. Speak to her on the top floor of The 2nd Choice saloon and show her your card collection so far. You need to have more than 15 in order to “win” her challenge. Once you show her you have enough, you can then buy items from her. The sword costs, 16,500 bits.
The sword is a rhythm weapon. If you swing it just as the moving icons line up with the targets on screen, the sword will gain a new element. Each icon you hit switches the weapon’s damage type. So, if you hit an enemy to the beat of the sword, you will inflict every status effect. You just need an enemy with a lot of health. An easy target for this is a boss or other enemy that has armor on.
Flawed Hero
Accepted 3 Flaws
MISSABLE
As you play through the game, you will automatically be offered flaws. Flaws can give a bonus, but they will also have a downside to them. The ones you are offered are going to depend on your play style. In order to earn this, you will need to accept 3 flaws. You’ll be offered many, so you can decline the ones you don’t want.
This would become missable if you declined every single flaw that was offered to you.
Level 30
Reached Level 30
Level 30 is the highest level you can reach in The Outer Worlds 2. You will gain XP from just about everything you do in the game. The main source of XP though, will be from killing enemies and completing both main and side quests. As long as you are thorough during your playthrough, you should reach level 30 with little issue.
Capture The Archive The Hard Way
Took control of the Archive without any backup
MISSABLE
This Trophy is earned by completing the main story mission, Complete a Complication with the Computronic Cerebrum, without the assistance of Auntie’s Choice, Order of the Ascendant or both.
This Trophy conflicts with getting the Corporation Cooperation Trophy. So, in order to get both in the same playthrough, you’re going to need to go straight to the main objective on Cloister when you arrive. Make a manual save before doing the quest. Do not do anything for either faction. Just go right to the Archive.
Do the quest by yourself and earn the Trophy. Then, reload the save from before the quest and go about bringing the two factions together for Corporation Cooperation.
Never Seen
Killed 50 enemies with Sneak Attacks
MISSABLE
In order to perform a sneak attack, you will need to stealthily come up behind an enemy and kill them without them knowing you are there. You will need to be crouched when you approach them. You can use your knife by holding
with it equipped to get sneak kills. Any attack that you do that kills an unaware enemy will count toward this Trophy. When enemies are killed, they do not respawn, so you will need to be aware of this Trophy as you playthrough the game and get these when you can.
Skilled
Raised a Skill to level 20
MISSABLE
As you level up, you’ll unlock skill points that you can use to raise your skill level in the Touch Pad menu. Each time you level up, you’ll gain 2 skill points. The level cap in the base game is 30, so that means you have a max amount of 60 skill points to invest in your character. In order to earn this, all you need to do is get any one of your skills to level 20.
It is important to note that you cannot accept the Easily Distracted flaw. This will prevent you from maxing out any of your skills.
One for All
Recruited all companions
MISSABLE
As you play through the game, you can encounter characters that you can recruit to join your crew. There are 6 companions in total and you will start the game with 2 of them already recruited. You will need to seek them out and recruit them. You can miss this by not choosing the right dialogue options when speaking to them or by never finding them.
- VAL
Unlocked by default
- Nile
Unlocked by default
- Inez
You need to finish the quest, A Refreshing Bit of News. During the final conversation of the mission, you can suggest to Inez that she join your crew. Speak to her again after the quest and she will join you.
- Tristan
Speak to Tristan inside of The 2nd Choice saloon on Free Market Station and agree to help him. Complete the Arbitrary Measures quest that you are given to help him on Golden Ridge and he will join you afterward.
- Aza
Aza can be found in Golden Ridge on the top floor of the Decommissioned Autonomous Extractorium. Enter the building, kill everyone and make your way up to the second floor to find and speak with Aza. Agree to help her and she will join you.
- Marisol
Marisol will offer to join your crew as long as you help her during the main story mission, On the Trail of the Traitor, while at Zyranium Manufactory VII.
All for One
Completed all companion quests
MISSABLE
As you recruit companions to your crew, you can also complete missions specific to each of them. Whenever you see a companion with a dialogue bubble over their head, speak to them and agree to help them.
- VAL
A Healthy Improvement – Speak with VAL after the intro of the game to receive this quest.
Better By Factors – VAL will speak to you if she’s with you, or will call you if she’s not, as you approach the Automech Production Facility on Praetor. You’ll the be given this quest to find upgrade parts for her.
- Nile
Pressing Cares – Pay attention to Nil while on Paradise. He will eventually have the dialogue bubble appear over his head. Speak to him when you see it.
Do More Harm – Niles will give you this quest as soon as you land on Praetor.
- Inez
Better Than Nature – You will automatically receive her quest upon her joining your crew.
A Most Extraordinary Specimen – You will be given a message for Inez from a courier in the Value Added Esplanade section of the ACS Undisputed Claim. Let the doctor live at the end of the quest.
Half-Truths in Advertising – You can get this quest by speaking with Ethel on Paradise if you let the doctor from the end of A Most Extraordinary Specimen live.
- Tristan
Listening for a Clue – Speak with Tristan on your ship after you’ve landed on either Praetor or Cloister.
Casting Off the Veil – Speak with Tristan on your ship after completing Listening for a Clue.
- Aza
The Dawn of a Glorious Betrayal – This will begin automatically as soon as you recruit her.
Stabbing at Shadows – Aza will ask to speak with you after Praetor and Cloister have been visited.
- Marisol
The Midpoint to the Endpoint – Marisol will speak to you on your ship as you head for the exit when landing on Cloister for the first time.
Endpoint’s End – You’ll need to speak with Marisol after completing The Midpoint to the Endpoint. The conversation might not appear immediately after, so just check in with her regularly.
Obviously, this will be missed if you do not do the missions. But your companions can also abandon you or even die. So, treat them well in conversations to avoid them leaving. It’s not easy to for that to happen, but it is possible.
All for None
Had every living companion die or abandon you for good
MISSABLE
Bugged
My counter is stuck at 1/6. I’ve had companions leave by different methods and it will not increase. Also, VAL cannot be dismissed or leave you. The Trophy states 6, but only 5 can abandon you or die. Consider this Trophy bugged.
This method will only work on Steam and Xbox. It has not worked on PS5.
First, make a separate manual save. Then, speak to each companion on the ship and tell them you no longer need them and kick them out. For whatever reason, the conversation option with Aza would not appear. If she is all that is left, try talking to her on a planet. You can’t kick her off on the ship because she will fight you when you do. Go through all of her dialogue and eventually the option to force her to leave should appear.
Once all of them have left and the Trophy has popped, reload your save and you can continue on with them back in your crew.
For PS5 players, an alternative method would be to make choices during their companion missions that they do not like or by killing NPCs that each companion aligns with out in the open world. Wait until you have recruited all of the companions and have their missions available. Make a save, run through the companion missions failing them so that each of them leave. Reload your save to continue. It’s not an ideal method, but there’s not really another way to do this without dedicating a playthrough to it.
- Inez – Kill Auntie’s Choice personnel and build up a bounty with them. Make sure she is in the party with you when going after AC soldiers.
- Aza – Tell her she needs to leave the crew and she will fight you. You can then kill her.
- Marisol – Kill Order personnel and build up a bounty with them. Make sure Marisol is in your party while doing it.
- Tristan – Kill Protectorate personnel with Tristan in your party.
- Niles – During the quest, “Do More Harm,” leave the building before finishing the quest and Niles will leave you for abandoning his mission.
Rift Drifter
Explored all of the localized rifts around Arcadia
As you explore the various locations, you’ll come across rifts. As you approach them, your vision will become distorted. If you touch one, it’ll instantly kill you.
As you progress through the story, you’ll receive the Rift Anomaly Modulator. This will allow you to interact with the rifts and explore them. These can have special items found in them. Some that are required for other Trophies. You will need to explore all rifts in order to earn this Trophy.
All Rifts
- Paradise Island
- Free Market Station
- Golden Ridge
- Praetor
- Cloister
- Cloister Underlands
- Horizon Point Station
Maximum Gun
Fully leveled-up Rookie’s Reward
MISSABLE
Rookie’s Reward is a weapon that can be found in the armory of your ship. In order to get it, you will need to have your lockpicking skill at 11. Once you do, lock pick the cage that holds the weapon.
This weapon will automatically level itself up as you use it. So, in order to earn this Trophy, you’re going to need to use this weapon until it has fully leveled up. You’re going to want to get this weapon as early as you can so that you have enough game left to fully upgrade it.
This Trophy is better to earn not on your Anti-Consumerist run. You’re going to need a lot of ammo for it and you cannot craft it as the recipe for this weapon’s ammo needs to be purchased.
OA: Objectives Accomplished
Completed all faction quests for the Order of the Ascendant
MISSABLE
The Order of the Ascendant is a faction that you can do quests for and even join. In order to earn this, you need to complete every quest available for the Order of the Ascendant.
There is also a rival faction, Auntie’s Choice, that you can do missions for. If you do all of the missions for Auntie’s Choice, you will be locked out of this Trophy. You will also be locked out of this Trophy if you bring both factions together. It’s best to avoid doing any quests for either faction until you are ready to get all three faction related Trophies done. In addition to the faction Trophies, you also need to take the Archive by yourself. You cannot use either faction to help you do that. So, doing this Trophy will lock you out of that one as well.
In order to earn this, and the other faction related Trophies in one playthrough, you’re going to need to make manual saves at certain points during the questlines. The point of no return for the faction quests is the main story quest, Complete a Complication with the Computronic Cerebrum. When you land on Cloister, do not advance that quest. Make however many manual saves you need so that you can return to this point in order to get all three of the faction related Trophies.
Before going to the Archive, you need to go to Laplace’s Garden and speak with Laureate Kraft to begin the questline for the Order. You may want to make manual saves after missions, just in case the conversations that follow don’t go the way you need them to.
The Order of the Ascendant quests:
- A Study in Disruption
- Crash Course in Telemetry – Agree to join the faction.
- Methods of Applied Force
- Agenda for Altered States
- The Final Lesson
Once you’ve earned this Trophy, you can reload the save you made before doing all of this and then go do Auntie’s Choice questline, or work on getting both factions to work together.
AC: All Complete
Completed all faction quests for Auntie’s Choice
MISSABLE
Auntie’s Choice is a faction that you can do quests for and even join. In order to earn this, you need to complete every quest available for Auntie’s Choice.
There is also a rival faction, the Order of the Ascendant, that you can do missions for. If you do all of the missions for the Order of the Ascendant, you will be locked out of this Trophy.
Before going to the Archive, head to the ACS Undisputed Claim and get/complete the faction quest, Now Hiring: Invaluable Disposable Agent.
Auntie’s Choice quests:
- Now Hiring: Invaluable Disposable Agent
- Mysteries of the Mental Moderators – Agree to join the faction.
- Recall Order for the Trifurcated Brain
- The Last Day of William Wray
- The Mechanical Matriarch
- Head Games of the Marketing Maven
Corporation Cooperation
Convinced Auntie’s Choice and the Order of the Ascendant to work together
MISSABLE
In order to earn this Trophy, you’re going to need to convince both, Auntie’s Choice and Order of the Ascendant, to work together. Doing this will lock you out of both faction specific Trophies. So make sure to get those by making use of strategic manual saves.
Before going for this, you’re going to need to have your Speech at 14 minimum. You also need to do this BEFORE doing the Complete a Complication with the Computronic Cerebrum main story quest.
A Stiff In The Rift
Jumped into a rift (and died)
This can be earned when you land on Golden Ridge. There is a rift on your right when entering the building near the landing pad after seeing the strike off in the distance. All you have to do is walk into the rift and you will be killed.
Go Out With A Bang
Killed 3 enemies with a single shot of the Big Bang
BUGGED
The Big Bang is a weapon that can be found in in the labs of the Earl building in the southwest corner of Cloister.
As soon as you pick up this weapon, you’ll be attacked by a lot of enemies, which will give you the opportunity to earn this Trophy right away.
You need to get three kills with a single shot from this weapon. Wait for a group of at least three enemies and then shoot it at them.
At the time of launch, this appears to be buggy. It may unlock, or it may not. Make a separate save before picking up this weapon. That way, you can load it up and get it right away if the game receives a patch to fix it.
Float Like A Butterfly, Sting Like A Bee
Killed 5 enemies while hovering in the Zyranium Automech Suit
The Zyranium Automech Suit is found on the second floor of the Automech Production Facility on Praetor. It will be in a big display case that can be opened by using the nearby terminal. When you do though, the whole building will be alerted.
While wearing the suit, you can hover by jumping and then holding
. You need to get 5 kills while hovering. You do not need to get all 5 in 1 hover. You can do one at a time.
Scary GARY Adversary
Killed 5 enemies with Gary’s tendrils
Before you can earn this Trophy, you’re going to need to get the rift anomaly modulator. This is part of the story and can be done in the main quest, An Instrument to Unfold Space and Time. This will allow you to interact with rifts which will then reveal items or platforms to reach hidden areas.
Go to the rift south of The Bridge of the Reverent fast travel point. Wait for Gary to walk into the rift and die. Then, interact with the rift and grab Gary’s armor. He will be holding a card as well, so grab that too.
Equip Gary as armor and he will automatically attack enemies with a tendril when you get close to them. All you need to do is get 5 kills with the tendrils. You don’t have to do anything to activate the tendrils. Just wear the “armor.”

Dance Dance Disfiguration
Killed 10 enemies with the Spectrum Dance Saber while in Spectrum Rainbow mode
The Dance Saber is bought from Fionna F.
In order to earn this, you will need to swing the sword to the beat until it has fully charged up. Once it has charged up, it will be in rainbow mode. You need to get kills while it is fully charged up. You cannot get all 10 in a single charge, so you will need to do this several times. You don’t even need to hit an enemy to charge the sword. If you’re in combat, the beat will start playing. You can take cover, swing the sword to the beat, fully charge it and run at an enemy and kill them while it’s charged.
If you are doing your Anti-Consumerist run, you can throw a Distraction Device outside of the room where Fionna is and then steal it while everyone is distracted. Just make sure to make save before doing that so you can reload and try again if you get caught.
Ad Hominem Homicide
Killed 10 enemies that are taunted by the Popup Gun’s Ad Drones
The Popup Gun can be bought from the Arms Merchant on the ACS Undisputed Claim in the Market Compliance for 16,500 bits.
This weapon shoots ad drones that will distract enemies. So, you’ll need to shoot this at enemies, and then kill them while they are distracted by the ad drones. You can use this on civilians as well.
If you are on your Anti-Consumerist run, you will need to make a save before buying this weapon. Make a save, buy the weapon, get the kills to pop the Trophy and then reload your save to before you bought it.
Stop Hitting Yourself
Killed 15 enemies using only Armageddon
Before you can earn this Trophy, you’re going to need to get the rift anomaly modulator. This is part of the story and can be done in the main quest, An Instrument to Unfold Space and Time. This will allow you to interact with rifts which will then reveal items or platforms to reach hidden areas.
Armageddon is a weapon that you can pick up by interacting with the rift on the first floor of Automech Production Facility (Praetor), take the door at the north side of the room labeled, Interstitial Weapons Development. Go right and head toward the rift. Grab the weapon.
In order to get kills that count toward this Trophy, you will need to only use this weapon when damaging enemies. You cannot shoot them with other weapons and then finish them off with this. That goes for your companions too. A kill wont count if a companion attacks an enemy you are using this weapon on. So, it’s easiest to go out by yourself to get this kills.
Stompy
Killed 5 enemies by stomping on them after hitting them with the Shrink Ray
Before you can earn this Trophy, you’re going to need to get the rift anomaly modulator. This is part of the story and can be done in the main quest, An Instrument to Unfold Space and Time. This will allow you to interact with rifts which will then reveal items or platforms to reach hidden areas.
Go to the Crabble Spawning Grounds on Paradise. Head through the cave until you come to the rifts. You’re going to need to platform your way up to this weapon by using the rifts as well as objects in the environment. The last rift will put pipes in your way on the platform where the weapon is found. You can time your jump so that the pipes disappear as the rifts closes. Make a save before timing this jump. If you time it wrong, you can reload your save and try again from the exact spot where you were.
With the weapon, shoot enemies to shrink them and then walk over them to “stomp” them.
Waylaid Grenades
Shot 3 grenades out of the air
This can easily be earned by using the Tactical Time Dilation gadget. When you’re in a fight with some enemies, hide behind cover and try to get them to throw grenades at you. When you see an enemy throw one, press
with the Tactical Time Dilation gadget equipped to activate it. This will slow down time and allow you to easily shoot the grenade while it is in the air.
Another method to get this Trophy is throwing your own grenades and shooting them. Throw a grenade straight up in the air and then use the TTD and shoot it. Repeat two more times.
Chemically Dependent
Crashed 20 times with the Medical Inhaler
The medical inhaler is used by pressing Down on the D-Pad. When you use it, it will refill your health as well as fill up your toxicity meter under your health. In order to crash with an inhaler, you need to use one to fill your toxicity meter, and then immediately use another one while the toxicity meter is full.
A Journey Of A Thousand Miles
Collected 1 Pitch/Tossball card
MISSABLE
See the “Whew, That’s Enough!” Trophy below for more details.
Whew, That’s Enough!
Collected 100 Pitch/Tossball cards
MISSABLE
There are 100 Pitch/Tossball cards to find across the game’s various locations. There are more than 100 to collect, so you don’t need them all. Each one will give you a permanent buff when collected. These are small baseball card like items. Unfortunately, some of these can be missed.
Follow The Outer Worlds 2 All Collectibles Guide for the locations of100+.
Auntie’s Old Acquaintance
Met Amos
MISSABLE
Amos is met during the side quest, Forbidden Secrets of the Undisputed Claim. Go to the ACS Undisputed Claim and then head to the Value Added Esplanade. Once there, look for the “Suspicious Character” and speak with them and then read the note to get this quest. It will be listed under “Mentioned” in your quest log. You can ride the tram on the Undisputed Claim to reach Back Deck Steerage.
Meeting Amos will be an objective of this quest.
Hatchling Catcher
Collected 5 pets for your ship
Pets can be bought, earned as quest rewards or found out in the open world locations of the game. There are more than 5 pets, but the 4 of the ones listed below can be found and acquired without having to spend money to help out with your Anti-Consumerist run. Once you have the 4, make a save, buy the fifth and then reload your save.
- Lucy the Crabble
Speak to the NPC at the Crabble Farm in south Paradise. Use a Trauma Kit on the sick Crabble and it will join you. You can also use Medical 5 to heal her. Interact with her afterward and she’ll join you.
- Cystipig
This is in a locked cage found during Inez’s companion quest, An Extraordianry Specimen, in the Frozen Maw > Algid Menagerie (Cloister). Use lockpick 2 to open the cage.
- Ursopod Cub
This is found in a cave behind Excogitation Chapel (East). Bring Inez with you and she can soothe it. You can also use speech 7 if you don’t have Inez.
- Raptidon Juvenile
This is found in a drop pod northwest of the Auntie’s Border Camp on Praetor. Offer it a Meaty Roll-up and then interact with it again to get it to join you. Meaty Roll-ups can be found by looting bodies and containers. A Meaty Roll-up can be found on a round table right next to the Fairsomely Priced Farmacy on Free Market Station. You’ll have to steal it and there are a lot of NPCs around, so make a save, throw some distraction devices, crouch down and steal it when you aren’t detected.
Remember to make a save before buying a pet if you are doing your Anti-Consumerist run.
- Electric Mantiwasp
This can be bought from Quartermaster Owsley at the Military Supply Surplus vendor just south of the Auntie’s Border Camp fast travel point.
- Zyranium Mantiwasp
This can be bought from Bonnie the Battlefront Barker at the Fort Endurance Weapon Shop in Golden Ridge.
- Crabble Hatchling
This can be bought from Order Purveyor Elwood at Scientician’s Surplus in Laplace’s Garden in Cloister.
- Icy Mantiwasp
This can be bought from Quartermaster Applebroog at Winter’s Grasp Quartermaster in Winter’s Grasp in Cloister.
- Gold Canid & Raptidon Juvenile
Both of these can be bought from General Goods Peddler in the Value Added Esplanade on ACS Undisputed Claim.
Hatchling Hunter
Killed a total of 50 Raptidon Juveniles, Crabble Hatchlings, Mantiwasps, Spiderlings, or Critters
This is something that you will likely earn naturally as long as you are exploring the various locations in the game and killing the animals that attack. Everything needed for this Trophy are animals found out in the wild. When you encounter a group of whichever animal, there will likely by the smaller ones with them that are needed for this. All you have to do is kill them.
Winning Hearts and Heads
Collected 20 human hearts
MISSABLE
In order to get this, you’re going to need to buy 2 perks.
- Psychopath
- Serial Killer
Once you have both of those, you’ll automatically harvest hearts when killing enemies. It’ll be random when it happens, but you don’t need to do anything. Just own those two perks.
Corpse Warper
Melted 20 bodies with Auntie’s Acidic Dematerializer
The Dematerializer can be picked up on your ship as part of VAL’s companion quest, A Healthy Improvement. Once you have it, hold
and then select. After killing an enemy, you can equip it and then use it to melt a dead body. All you have to do is melt 20 bodies with this. This can also be used on any bodies you find that you didn’t kill. Animals count as well.
Anti-Consumerist
Completed the game without spending a single bit
MISSABLE
For this Trophy, you cannot spend a single bit (money) during an entire playthrough. You cannot spend any of your money on anything. That includes the following:
- Buying anything from vendors/vending machines
- Bribing anyone
- Paying money to be healed
Because of this, you’re going to need to really focus on looting so that you can find what you need instead of buying it. If you need ammo, you’re going to need to craft it or loot it. Breakdown junk you find to turn it into crafting materials. If you accept the Wasteful flaw, this will guarantee that ammo can be found on any enemy that you kill.

Well Dressed
Defeated the Consul while wearing clothing instead of armor
MISSABLE
The Consul is the final boss in the game. All of the clothes you were are considered armor, so the difference for this is what they are labeled as. You just need to wear anything that is not labeled as “light, medium or heavy.” The clothes will say “armor” on the description, but as long as it does not say, “light, medium or heavy,” you’re good. Change your clothes when you get the objective, “Confront the Consul.” The fight will start after the conversation with him, so you need to have changed before the conversation. I don’t know if a helmet counts as armor, so take it off just to be safe.
With the right clothing choice equipped, beat the Consul.
Destroyer of Worlds
Reached the lowest possible standing with Auntie’s Choice and the Order of the Ascendant
Before doing this Trophy, make a manual save that you can reload to undo everything.
You can quickly reach the lowest possible rating for each faction by killing their high profile characters. The lowest standing is when a faction places a kill on sight order on you. After you get the Trophy, reload your save from before doing this.
For the Order, go Laplace’s Garden and kill Junior Seer Amaryllis and anyone else in there until you receive the kill on sight order.
For Auntie’s Choice, make your way to the Head Office in ACS Undisputed Claim and start killing the Auntie’s Choice high ranking personnel.
Everything Must Go
Earned 50,000 bits by selling items to vendors
All you have to do here is sell items to any vendor. Loot as much as you can so that you have items to sell. This can be a little tough to pair with the Anti-Consumer Trophy, but if you are, just make sure not to sell anything that will breakdown into a crafting item that you may need in that moment. Also, be careful when selling things of you are pairing them on the same run. You want to make sure you are on the SELL page in a vendor, be careful not to buy anything by mistake when trying to sell.
Upgrades Available
Applied modifications to 10 weapons or armors
As you loot your way through this game, you’re going to pick up weapons and armor that can be modded. Mods can be looted from containers, enemies and bought from vendors.
When you have mods that can be applied, you will need to use a Workbench to apply them. Choose the gear you want to mod and the mod you want use and equip it. You’ll come across more than 10 as you play through the game.
