Welcome to the STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl Trophy Guide & Roadmap!
- 6/10 – Estimated Difficulty
- 85 – 100 – Estimated Hours to Completion
- 1 – Minimum Play-Through With Strategic Manual Saves
- 15 – Missable Trophies
- 0 – Difficulty Related Trophy
- Everything can be done on any difficulty.
- 0 – Online Multiplayer Trophies
This Trophy list isn’t too difficult on the surface. There is a good mix of miscellaneous, side mission and main mission based Trophies. However where the difficulty can come in, is with how grindy this list is. There are Trophies that are tied to the various endings. You can get around this by making manual saves at the main mission, “Subtle Matter.”
I didn’t run into any bugs with the Trophies themselves, but the game can be buggy at times. Saves for Trophies aside, make sure to have always have some back up saves at different points in the game that you can revert to if anything goes wrong. Speaking of manual saves, the miscellaneous Trophies that require you to kill or do a certain act a set number of times can be farmed using manual saves. So for 20 stealth kills, you can kill the same enemy(ies) by reloading a save near them and the counter will increase each time.
Mods
Community mods are included with STALKER 2, but they will disable Trophies/Achievements if you use them.
Missable Trophy Points
These are all of the points in the game where a missable Trophy can be earned that is mission based. Keep an eye out for the following missions:
- A Needle in the Haystack
- Answers Come at a Price
- Like A Moth to the Flame
- Bullseye – Side Mission
- Three Captains – Side Mission
- Once More Onto the Breach OR Happiness For Everyone – Depends on which faction you’re aligned with, but both end in the same place.
- Dark Times – Main Mission -> In the Name of Science – Side Mission
- Subtle Matter – Ending Decisions
- Down Below – Point of No Return
[Collectible Note] In addition to these, you will need to side with Spark at SIRCAA so that you are given the main mission, Happiness for Everyone. There is 1 missable flash drive that can only be picked up in an area that requires you to side with Spark.
Step 1 – Main Story + Misc. Trophies
As noted above, this list can be done in a single playthrough. In order to do so, you’re going to need to make strategic manual saves. So, with that in mind, you’re going to want to just work through the story while completing miscellaneous Trophies along the way. Play through the story and make a separate manual save before the Subtle Matter main mission. This is where you will need to start making specific choices in order to get the endings. You can reload that save point in order to knock out each of the endings.
Step 2 – Clean Up
When the story is done and you’ve earned all of the ending Trophies, all you will have is to clean up anything you may have missed. There is no free roam after completing the story, so you will need to load a save file from before the point of no return (Down Below) in order to go back and clean up what you need.
If you only knew where I’ve been!
Get all the trophies. The Zone is proud of you… and slightly disturbed by your determination.
Clincher
100 enemies shot in the head. Not bad for a head start…
This is something that should come naturally over time as you play through the game. Aim for the head when in fights with enemies.
Goodnight
Get 20 covert kills. The Zone likes it quiet.
Covert kills are stealth kills. You can do this by sneaking up behind an enemy while crouched. Approach an enemy with your knife equipped and when you get close, your knife will change positions in your hand, when it does that, you can then perform the stealth kill.
On the Go
Bread and sausage — Zone’s most popular sandwich recipe.
All you have to do here is eat bread and a sausage. You’ll come across both of these fairly often as you loot enemies and containers. Once you have both, eat them to pop this.
Tit for tat
Sidorovich’s worst nightmare: buy and sell goods for the exact same amount of coupons in one deal.
This can be earned in the first camp you come to as part of the story, Zalissya.
Speak to any of the merchants there and trade with them. In order to earn this, you need choose something to buy from the vendor. Then, you need to choose something to sell that is the same value as the item you are buying.
For example, I bought 1 Bandage for 150k and sold 1 Anti-Radiation Drug for 150k. With both items selected, confirm the trade. This didn’t pop for me until I backed out of the vendor menu after the trade.
If you don’t want to lose whatever you’re selling, you can make a manual save before doing this and then reload afterwards.
First touches
First equipment enhancement. Never the last, for most Zone folks.
See the “Pump it up” Trophy below for more details.
The good, the bad and the ugly
5 headshots in 10 seconds. Good eye.
This can be earned in Zalissya. There is a fire near the center of town where 5 NPCs can be found sitting around. They’ll be close to each other here. Make a save and then get the headshots as quickly as you can. Reload your save after you’ve gotten the Trophy to reset the town.
Bingo
Experience the effects of bleeding, sleep, hunger, alcohol, radiation and psi. Doesn’t sound pretty.
In order to earn this Trophy, you’re going need to experience all 6 of the status effects at the same time.
The hardest effect to get is sleep. You’re going to need to not sleep for a long time. It takes awhile for Skif to get tired. Also, don’t drink any energy drinks either. If you’re having trouble getting tired, you can participate in the arena in the basement of Ganja’s Bar in Rostok. Completing it will make you tired. Make a save once you have the sleep effect. Just to make sure you can revert back with this effect active if anything doesn’t go right here.
Once you’re tired, don’t eat or drink anything. From there, get some vodka and then go to Clear Sky Base in the southeast corner of the swamps.
There is a psi emitter that will give you the psi effect. There is also radiation south of the emitter. So, stand next to the emitter to get the psi effect and then run south toward the radiation. There are also enemies nearby. Let them shoot you and you’ll start to bleed. If you aren’t getting the enemies to spawn, there are areas of floating glass you can run through to bleed that are outside of the house that you need to run through to reach this area. Drink a few bottles of vodka to get drunk and this should pop. Everything that you need is found close together in this location. You just need to come here while tired and don’t forget to bring alcohol. While doing this, don’t use bandages or else they will heal your bleeding.
Zone’s deadliest predator
Kill a mutant of every kind. You’ll need a bigger wall to fit all those trophies!
There are 15 different kinds of enemies in the game. You’ll kill most of these during main and side missions, but make sure to keep an eye out while travelling across the zone for enemy types.
- Bayun
- Blind Dog
- Bloodsucker
- Boar
- Burer
- Chimera
- Controller
- Flesh
- Poltergeist
- Pseudodog
- Pseudogigant
- Psi-Deer
- Rat
- Rodent
- Snork
Pump it up
Fully enhance any type of weapon. Somewhere out there, a Zone technician just shed a tear of pride.
This can be earned in Zalissya at the Technician, Lens. The cheapest weapon to get this done with is Skif’s Pistol. Head to Lens and buy every upgrade available for the pistol. You can make a save before spending the money and then reload it after buying the upgrades to get your money back.
The four winds
Unlock the whole map. Few folks know the Zone this well.
All you need to do for this is enter every region on the map at least one time. Each time you visit a new region, the region name will then be added to your map. So, enter each region until they have been named on your map. There are 22 regions on the map and you’ll visit most, if not all of them naturally by playing through the game and completing the various missions in the game. If you don’t, make sure to visit all of the areas except for “Generators” before crossing the point of no return in the main story. The end of the story will take you to Generators and there is no free roam after the main story. So, you need to have it done before then.
- Burnt Forest
- Cement Factory
- Chemical Plant
- Cooling Towers
- Cordon
- Duga
- Garbage
- Generators
- Jupiter
- Lesser Zone
- Malachite
- Prypiat
- Red Forest
- Rostok
- SIRCAA
- Swamps
- Wild Island
- Yaniv
- Yantar
- Zaton
- CNPP
- Iron Forest
Taking it for granted
Gear broken beyond repair. Don’t forget to pay regular visits to the technician.
For this, you can use a weapon until it completely breaks. Or, you can simply stand outside during an Emission. These are storms that will kill you unless you are inside when they hit. You’ll know when it happens as the sky will turn red.
Make a save before an Emission hits. Stand outside during it and you will take damage. Keep healing yourself so that you can live longer out in the storm. Your health bar will be draining quickly, so make sure to heal yourself before it gets too low. Continue healing yourself until your gears breaks and this pops.
Miracle hoarder
Collect all artifacts. What about arch-artifacts?
See the “Scanning complete” Trophy below for more details.
Curiouser and curiouser!
Collect all arch-artifacts. A priceless collection, arguably too weird, even by Zone standards.
See the “Scanning complete” Trophy below for more details.
No obstacle too big…
Kill 50 enemies through obstacles. No one in the Zone is really safe.
In order to get this, you’re going to need to kill enemies by shooting them through fences, walls. windows and even anomalies. Chain link fences are an easy obstacle to use to get kills for this as you can see through them. Windows can be used as well, but only if there is glass in it still. After getting a kill through a window, the window will obviously be broken, so it’ll no longer count as an obstacle.
This can quickly be farmed in the northwest corner of the Wild Island region. There is a building that has a big group of rats fenced in. Make a save near the building, shoot the rats through the fence, reload your save and do it again. Repeat that process until the Trophy pops. You can also use this area to earn the “Wiped out” Trophy for killing a rodent with a grenade launcher if you have one.
BOOM!
20 enemies killed by blowing up the surroundings. Save on hand grenades and enjoy the fireworks.
In order to earn this, you’re going to need to get 20 kills by shooting and blowing up explosive barrels/cannisters. You’ll need to keep an eye out during enemy encounters when going for this.
This can be farmed during the, “Deal with the devil,” main story mission. As part of the mission, you will need to speak with Varan. After speaking with him, make a save. Shoot the red cannister behind him and it will kill him. Reload your save and do it again. You can repeat this until the Trophy pops.
Personal approach
One fight, four enemies, killed by different weapons. That trick would charm the hell out of Mavka!
First, you will need to find at least 4 enemies. You’ll come across plenty of opportunities throughout the various missions. Then, you will need to kill each one with a different weapon. Grenades and your knife count toward this. So if you sneak up and get a stealth kill with your knife, you can use three other weapons to finish the rest off. Get a kill with a weapon and then switch to the next one for the next enemy. Repeat that until you have used 4 different weapons to get a kill.
Loner shooter
Shoot an enemy in the head from 75 meters. No scope-peeking!
This one is tricky. First, you can find an enemy and then drop a pin where they are on the map and you’ll be able to see how far away they are. Then, back up to the required distance. Go a few meters past 75 just to make sure you’re safe. You cannot be aiming down your sights when you take shot. Whether you have a scope attached or not. You cannot ADS for this Trophy.
You can however, aim down your sights and line up the shot, let go of
Make a save before trying this once you have an enemy picked out. There is bullet drop in this game, so you will need to take a few practice tries to learn where to aim with the weapon you are using. Use a scoped weapon, aim through your scope, hold your breath and then take shots while looking down the scope to see where you need to aim. Once you know where to aim, reload the save, aim down the scope and line it up. Release
I did this with the Clusterfuck weapon (found during Three Captains side mission. It is in the crane with the sniper. You need to go there for a Trophy) against the camp of enemies that were sitting around a fire south of Zalissya along a wall. It is just southeast of the Sphere.
Merry-go-round
Drop a corpse into the Whirlgig anomaly. A joy for someone who never got to ride the Ferris Wheel.
A whirlgig is marked by leaves rotating around in the wind. When you step into one of these, you’ll be thrown around and then will take some damage. In order to earn this, you’ll need to kill an enemy and then carry their body into one of these. These are found all over the map and so are patrolling enemies. Keep an eye out for the swirl of leaves. When you come across one, check if any enemies are nearby as well.
Keeping your hands steady
Shoot an enemy in the head, through an obstacle, having the intoxication effect.
This can easily be earned in Zalissya. There is a fire near the center of town where 5 NPCs can be found sitting around. First, go inside and buy some vodka. Then, go outside and make a manual save. Just before the entrance to the shop is a small room right next to the fire. You can see the NPCs at the fire through a window here. Drink the vodka you bought until you have the intoxication effect, aim at an NPC’s head through a window and then shoot. Make sure to shoot through a window that has glass in it. The bullet has to pass through the glass first before hitting the enemy. Reload your save afterwards.
Catching up
Shoot an incoming grenade to make it explode. Nice view!
Despite the wording, “incoming” in the description, you can actually use your own grenade to get this. Make a save, throw grenade straight up in the air and then quick change to a gun and shoot it. It will take a few tries, so make sure to save before hand so you can reload and get your ammo back.
Flash Royal
Gather all armor and gear enhancement flash drives.
MISSABLE
See the “Scanning complete” Trophy below for more details.
Wiped out
Kill a Rodent using a grenade launcher. A good wipe-out makes the Duty proud.
You can buy a grenade launcher attachment from the trader, Eugene, in Rostok. The grenade launcher he sells can be attached to the AR416, GP37, Kharod and the Clusterfuck. You can also buy the ammo for it from Eugene. You can switch to the grenade launcher in the weapon wheel.
Once you have that, you’ll just need to find a rodent enemy to use it on. You can find some rodents in the northwest corner of the Wild Island region. There is a building that has a big group of rats fenced in. Make a save near the building, shoot the rats with a grenade, or RPG, and then reload your save to get your ammo back.
You can also farm this area to earn the “No obstacle too big…” Trophy for killing 50 enemies by shooting through an obstacle first.
Can opener
Use a knife to kill an enemy wearing an exoskeleton. Epic battle indeed.
As you progress through the story, you’ll eventually come across enemies that are wearing exoskeletons. In order to earn this Trophy, you’re going to need to kill them using only the knife. You cannot use other weapons to weaken them first. All of the damage needs to be done with the knife only. Use an energy drink or water to fill your stamina before attacking them with the knife. I first encountered these enemies in the main story mission, Dawn of a New Day.
Coupons to burn
Spend over 1,000,000 coupons. Myklukha and Sidorovich will fight hard over their favorite customer.
This Trophy is accumulative. All you have to do here is spend money throughout the game. You can farm this by making a save at a vendor, buy gear until you are out of money, reload your save and do it again. You can repeat that until the Trophy pops.
Bouncy
A successful jump from a 30-meter height. No parachute, though.
This can be earned by jumping off of the tower that is found on the west side of the Wild Island region. It’s on the narrow land that connects the island to the rest of the zone.
Once you’re there, climb up to the top and look down standing to the left of the backpack. Jump off and land in the anomaly on the ground and it should catch you. Make sure you jump off the top instead of just walking off of it in order to get the required 30 meters.
Run, stalker, run!
That Chimera made you run like an Olympic champion!
This can be earned in the north western corner of the Zaton region. There is a railroad track that leads to a tunnel. A Chimera spawns in and around that tunnel. In order for this to pop, you need to get run far enough away from the Chimera so that it stops chasing you. This is marked by the red bar that is under the compass at the top of the screen. When that red bar disappears, that means it is no longer after you.
Make a save before doing this just in case you need to try again.
Approach that tunnel and get the Chimera’s attention so that it charges you. Immediately run straight west just to the right of the tunnel. There are some ledges this way that you can drop down. The Chimera won’t chase you down the ledges. Just keep going until the red bar under the compass goes away. Make sure to have some energy drinks or waters quick slotted to regain your stamina while running.
Peace and quiet
Kill everyone in the camp before the alarm is set off. They couldn’t see it coming!
There are a few things about this Trophy description that are a little misleading. First, if an enemy sees you, a white bar will appear on screen pointing in the direction of the enemy detecting you. It won’t be full at first, but that will still count as what the Trophy description states as an “alarm.” Even if that white bar doesn’t fill up, it will count as you being detected. So, if you see that bar, it’s too late, unless you have save file you can reload. Second, a “camp” also means a campfire. It doesn’t have to be an enemy base or anything like that.
This Trophy can easily be earned by killing a group of enemies sitting around a fire with an RPG. There is a campfire that is south of Zalissya along a wall. It is just southeast of the Sphere. There are 4 enemies sitting around the fire. Come back here when you have an RPG and sneak up behind the camp. Don’t get too close, but close enough until you see the enemies. If you get too close, they’ll see you. So make a save as you approach the camp fire. Aim the RPG at the fire and shoot. The single rocket will kill all 4 of the enemies. If you see that white bar appear on screen, reload your save and try again.
The RPG can be found on the north side of the Wild Island on top of a big stack of barrels near the northern coastline. This is almost straight north from the Shelter.
Another one can be found in the Red Forest. This one is inside a hole in the ground inside of a crashed train car on the northwestern side of the region east of the Quarry.
Proxy
Kill a squad that just finished off another squad and won the fight. Or so they thought…
As you travel across the Zone, you’ll sometimes come across two groups fighting each other. When you do, hide and wait for one of the groups to kill the other. When the other group has been completely eliminated, you will need to then kill all of the enemies of the group that won the battle. This can be against humans or animals.
Lockpick
Lure a mutant into an anomaly. Hardly a noble deed, but it gets the job done.
This can be earned early on the game during A Needle in a Haystack main mission. During the mission, you’ll need to go to the Radiation Hazard Signs Storage location.
There are dogs in the courtyard outside of the building and an anomaly outside of the south wall. The dogs will chase you when they notice you. Once they’re chasing you, run to the anomaly and they should run into it.

There is another Trophy that will require you to make the “Life is for the Living” dialogue choice. So, you can save some time there by making a manual save before making the choice in Dangerous Liaisons. You can then reload that save and continue with that ending after you’ve gotten this one out of the way.

Wardens drool
Save a bandit’s life, get on the Ward’s naughty list. Was it worth it?
MISSABLE
This Trophy has multiple steps and it begins during the main story mission, A Needle in a Haystack. During, A Needle in a Haystack, you will need to decide who to give the Ward Sensors to. For this Trophy, you will need to give the Ward Sensors to Captain Zotov.
Next, complete the main mission, Behind Seven Seals. There are no choices or requirements needed for this Trophy during this mission.
After that mission, you will need to speak to Col. Korshunov during the mission, “Answers Comet at a Price.”
Choose the following dialogue options when speaking to Korshunov:
- I’m looking for Nestor.
- I want to talk to Chornozem
From there, head to the objective location marked, “Interrogate the captive bandit.”
Once you get there, there will be three guards outside. Kill the three guards and then Chornozem will radio you and speak to you. This will pop after the conversation on the radio with Chornozem.
Stalker’s smarts
Find a way to get the parts without sneaking into the warehouse.
MISSABLE
This can be earned after you have completed the main mission, Like a Moth to the Flame.
After completing the mission, you’ll be able to interact with the technician at Icarus, SGT. Yeremeyev. He is on the second floor of the northwest building in Icarus. Speak with him and agree to help him. He’ll give you the side mission, Shock Therapy. This mission is not the one we need for this Trophy, but you will need to do it in order for him to give you the required mission, which is, The Side Hustle.
During The Side Hustle, you will need to go to a big brick building at a train depot. When you get there, do not enter the brick building. If you do, this Trophy will be missed. Instead, run along the eastern side of the building and look up. You should see the box holding the parts sticking out of the window.
Climb up onto the metal walkway that is in-between the train cars and head to the end. Look at the box from the platform and aim just to the left of the box in the window. There is a red explosive cannister inside. Shoot it and the box will fall from the window. Go over and pick it up to pop this Trophy.
The good ol’ days
Help Skadovsk get its name and rightful owners back.
MISSABLE
This Trophy is earned during the side mission, Three Captains. It is given to you by the bartender, Sonya in Skadovsk. However, you will need to complete the side missions, Bullseye and The Mysterious Case, as well as the main story mission, In Search of a Guide, first.
The side mission Bullseye, by the way, is where you can earn the missable Trophy, Apple-shot. So make sure to get that done as well. In order to begin those two side missions, you will need to speak with Beard in Shevchenko. Sultan is in Skadovsk. Complete both of their side missions.
Once you’ve completed In Search of Guide, go speak with Sonya in Skadovsk and she should give you the side mission, Three Captains.
When you get to the side mission area, climb the ladders on the big crane and kill the sniper that is inside of it. Then, head over to the radio and interact with it. Stay up here and listen to the conversation over the radio. When you hear Sonya say, “I’ll deal with it myself,” you can exit the crane and kill the enemies she sent. Make sure to not leave the crane too early, or else Beard and Sultan will die and this will be missed. Kill the enemies and help Beard and Sultan survive. Speak to them afterwards to finish the quest and earn the Trophy.
During The Three Captains,
So, step by step is:
- Speak to Beard in Shevchenko and complete Bullseye.
- Speak to Sultan in Skadovsk and complete The Mysterious Case.
- Complete In Search of a Guide main mission. This is when it becomes available.
- Speak to Sonya and get Three Captains.
- Kill the sniper in the crane
- Listen on the radio until she says “I’ll deal with it myself.”
- Kill the enemies that ambush Beard and Sultan.
- Speak to them afterwards.
Apple-shot
Three precise shots at apples spared stalker lives and helped you win a twisted bandit’s game.
MISSABLE
This is earned during the side mission, Bullseye. Go to Shevchenko in southwest Zaton and speak with Beard to get this side mission.
When you reach the objective marker at the bandit camp, speak to the bandits and they will tell you to talk to the Ringmaster. Before you speak with the ringmaster, make a manual save. Then, speak with him and agree to be part of his show. Don’t pay the money. All you have to do is shoot the apples that are on top of the NPC’s heads. You’ll be timed for this, but you can start before he even finishes talking. Use whatever weapon you are comfortable with and shoot the apples. If you miss, that’s okay. You just need to have all three shot before ringmaster counts all the way down. Reload the save if you miss or didn’t get the Trophy. This will pop when the counter is done.
Baptism by fire
Help Zalissya survive the Monolith attack. New generations of stalkers will have a place to stay.
MISSABLE
After leaving the SIRCAA facility as part of the main story, Zalissya will be under attack by Monolith. Head to Zalissya and you’ll hear Gaffer ask for help over the radio as you get closer (under 300 meters) to Zalissya. Go there and kill all of the Monolith soldiers.
Afterwards, go speak with Gaffer and agree to help him. He’ll give you the On The Edge side mission. Before leaving the building where Gaffer is, speak to the medic, Mykolayich nearby and he will add an objective to On The Edge as well.
This will pop after the conversation with Gaffer after you have finished everything in the On The Edge side mission.
On a leash
The Leash project experiments are finally over. Hopefully.
MISSABLE
This Trophy is earned by completing the side mission, In the Name of Science.
During the main story mission, Dark Times, Shcherba will radio you and ask you for help in tracking down some collars. You’ll have a timed decision to make for helping him or not. Choose to help him and he will then send you the side mission and the approximate locations of the collars. Collect them all and then complete the side mission.
If you’re having trouble finding the mutant wearing the collar in the Garbage region, it may have already died and you’ll need to search for its body near the radius. There is a bandit camp nearby and they may have already killed it. The collar will be on its body, just loot it. Unfortunately, the objective radius won’t pinpoint the body’s location.
After finishing the mission, you’ll receive money and the objective will change to “Wait for your reward from Shcherba.” This is not a bug. This objective will eventually update during the Dangerous Liaisons main story mission and you’ll need to return to Shcherba. This will pop after returning and speaking with Shcherba.
Your move!
Found a unique weapon designed for a kingpin. Checkmate!
This can be earned by completing the side mission, No Honor Among Thieves. Speak to Huron (weapons vendor) in Slag Heap in the Garbage region to get the quest. If you spare Docent during the mission, he will give you the coordinates of Shah’s stash which will have a weapon that will pop this Trophy when collected.
Shah’s stash won’t be an objective of the mission, but it will be marked northwest of Slag Heap on your map.
Goss

Between the lines
The “Best reader” award. And reward.
In order to earn this, you need to access a locked room in Prypiat. There are notes that you can collect in Prypiat that will you give the code to unlock the door to the locked room. There are 8 notes that can be collected, but they are not required for this. You can just go to the locked door and input the following code to unlock the door: 13263622.
Enter the building from the west side and go up the stairs all the way up to the top floor to find the keypad next to the door. If this doesn’t pop right away, go through each of the rooms.
Scanning complete
You were out looking for a scanner, but ended up collecting them all.
There are several types of collectibles that need to be found in STALKER 2. There are scanners, artifacts, arch artifacts and gear blueprints. All of their locations can be seen on the interactive map below.
There is 1 missable flash drive blue print.
- Zubr-19 – Anatomical Adjustment
This is picked up during the Happiness for Everyone main mission. In order to get this mission though, you will need to side with Spark at SIRCAA.
- Return Mechanism Sleeve Tightener (Integral A)
This used to be missable, but has since been moved to a second location. If you miss the original location at SIRCAA, it can still be picked up by looting a dead body in the Hydroelectric Station in the Garbage region.
As for the artifacts, these are found in set locations, but some of them are random as to which one will be at the location. There is a way to try and get the artifact that you’re looking for though. The Hilka Detector will detect artifacts from further away and the Bear Detector will be more accurate when pointing in the direction of the artifact. The Hilka Detector is rewarded for completing the “Budmo!” side mission which is given by the two drunk NPCs in Slag Heap. The Bear Detector is given to you after completing the “A Sign of Hope” side mission which is given to you by Prof. Lodochka near the southeastern coastline of Wild Island.
- First, you will need to be at least100 meters away from the artifact’s location.
- Make a manual save.
- Approach the artifact and pick it up. If it’s not the one you need, you can reload your save and try again.
