Playthrough 1
The majority of this Trophy list is made up of story related Trophies. As you work through the main story, there will be side missions that are unlocked. These will just be in your mission list. They won’t show up as icons on your map until you track them. When side missions are available, you’ll get notifications on the right side of your screen from the Digiline. Make sure to complete side missions as they appear during the story. Outside of the story based Trophies, almost everything else is going to require you to complete all main and side missions. That’ll be the key to this Trophy list. There are some collectibles, but those are also tied to side missions.
Play through the game while completing all main and side missions. Once you’ve done everything you can Trophy wise on your first playthrough, it’ll be time for a second playthrough.
The Final Battle Over the Natural Order
During the final story mission, The Final Battle Over the Natural Order, you’ll receive the side mission, A Gift from the Hosts. You can then travel to the In-Between Theater and speak with the hosts. Doing so will give you the ability to travel to any previous area in the game and will also unlock several other side missions. There will be a lot of side missions made available at this point. You’re going to want to do them all as there are some tied to Trophies as well needing the Anomaly Points to reach Agent Rank 10.
There is free roam after the final boss battle. Upon beating the final boss, you can load your cleared save file and the game will put you back just before the final boss where you can then finish anything else you have left.
Playthrough 2
After your first playthrough is done, you’ll have unlocked Mega+ difficulty. You need to beat the game on this difficulty. As of the time this guide is posted, it is possible to play on a lower difficulty and then change the difficulty to Mega+ at the final boss. As of this posting date, just beating the final boss on Mega+ is enough to unlock the The Pinnacle of Existence Trophy.
Unless you have the The Deluxe or Ultimate versions of the game, you’ll have extra side missions that will get you more Anomaly Points than the standard version of the game. If you have the standard version, you will be short of enough Anomaly Points to reach Agent rank 10 for the Elite Agent Trophy during your first playthrough. So, you’ll need to finish that off on your second playthrough of NG+. This will happen naturally as you progress through the story a second time as you are given Anomaly Points for completing story missions. So, you can just speed run this difficulty to the final boss, if you’d like.

The Pinnacle of Existence
Complete the game on Mega + difficulty.
Mega + difficulty is unlocked by completing the game at least 1 time. After beating the game, you’ll need to start a New Game + and choose Mega+ for the difficulty.
There is a cheese method for this Trophy. Start a New Game + on Mega + difficulty. As soon as you gain control of your character, you can bump the difficulty down to Story. From here, you can playthrough the entire game on Story and then change the difficulty back to Mega + right before the final battle. All you will have to do is fight and beat the final boss on Mega +. You can quickly and easily save up money, healing items as well as fully train up your Digimon to prepare them for the final boss on Story difficulty.
The following will carry over to NG+
- Money
- Agent Skills
- Anomaly Points
- Field Guide Data
- The Digimon in your party/reserve/box
- All items except for story related key items
Before attempting the boss on this difficulty, you’re going to need to get your battle party to level 99. You’ll also need to get each of their individual stats all to 9999. In addition to that, you’re going to want to have X-Revive and X-Heal equipped to Digimon.
If you speed run through the story, you’ll likely need to train up your party before taking on the final boss. Just before you can choose to fight the boss, go back to the In-Between Theater and complete, A Gift From the Hosts, side mission. This will allow you to travel any where you need to go and complete anything you need to do in order to get ready for the boss.
When training your Digimon at the Digifarm, make sure tobuy the C training sets. These offer the biggest stat jump and will not change the personality of the Digimon you are training. You can get C training sets from Zudomon in Central Town (8 Years Ago). You will need to first complete his side mission, The Blacksmith’s Request.
You’ll also want to give all 3 of your Digimon the Great Embrace Personality Skill. You can get this by changing your Digimon’s personality to Overprotective. If you don’t get Great Embrace to pop up, change your personality to something else, and then change it back to Overprotective to try again. This will heal your Digimon 200% when using abilities to recover health. Which is something that will be required here. For heals, you’re going to want to use X-Heal as you won’t be able to use items. When someone goes down, use X-Revive to bring them back right away. Your Digimon can withstand several hits with 200% health. Just don’t let your health get too low, otherwise you’ll spend too many turns catching them all back up.
As for items, you’re going to want to equip the following items to your Digimon.
- Multi Wall on all three Digimon.
- If you completed every side quest on your first playthrough, you will already have 2 Multi Walls as quest rewards. The quests are Divermon’s Woes and The Stranger from Shambala. The third can be found in a chest in Abyss Area just before entering the throne room.
- Stats Wall
- This is a reward for completing Royal Knights, Assemble! side mission.
The one Digimon you should have in your party is Apocalymon. All you need from him is to use his Darkness-Zone attack. This will do 20% of Chronomon’s remaining HP. Chronomon has a lot of health, so Apocalymon’s attack will do about 99K damage. The damage will decrease as the fight goes on, but it still does a big chunk of damage.
Snimon -> Phantomon
- Agent Rank 5
- HP 1530
- SPI 940
- SPD 1010
Phantomon -> Piedmon
- Agent Rank 7
- SP 1190
- INT 1860
Piedmon -> Apocalymon
- Agent Rank 8
- SP 2660
- INT 3100
There is a shortcut for XP grinding, but it unfortunately costs real money. The DLC pack, Outer Dungeons The Halls of EXP, Gold, Materials, will shave a lot of grinding time off of your playthrough. You can one shot enemies with DigiAttack and receive Courage Points to quickly level up your team. You can do the same here with money and train up your Digimon at the farm to increase their stats.
A Mighty Blow
Achieve a rating of “EXCELLENT!!!” when attacking an enemy’s weak point.
This will be unlocked when you have to battle Parrotmon as part of the story. When you’ve gotten its health down to about half, you’ll be joined by another Digimon that will help you the rest of the battle. This Digimon will get an excellent rating with its attacks against Parrotman.
Unrivaled Strength
Defeat an enemy of Ultimate or greater Generation with a single DigiAttack.
This is something that will come later in the game when your Digimon are highly leveled up. This Trophy requires you to use the DigiAttack which is the
attack in the overworld. This does not mean using 1 attack in a battle. The lowest generation you can do this against is an Ultimate Digimon. When you come across one, use a Digimon that strongest against that type. You can also give equipment to your Digimon to increase their attack. If you’re having issues with this, you can bump the difficulty down to Story to make it easier. For me, I used MetalGreymon against SkullGreymon.
Initial Digivolution
Digivolve a Digimon for the first time.
Each Digimon can Digivolve into a few different Digimon. Each evolved Digimon has a required set of stats that need to be reached in order to be evolved into. You’ll need to raise attributes of the base Digimon to reach the required stats for evolution. You can do this by leveling up, using items and by training on the Digifarm.
You can also De-Digivolve a Digimon the same way. The Digimon that you can De-Digivolve into will have a set of conditions that need to be met in order to De-Digivolve a Digimon. You will need to do that at least once for the “Maiden De-Digivolution” Trophy.
In order to Digivolve and De-Digivovle Digimon, you need to press
> Digimon > Digivolution. From there, select the Digimon on the left side of the evolution tree.
Maiden De-Digivolution
De-Digivolve a Digimon for the first time.
See the “Initial Digivolution” Trophy above for more details.
Hard Work Pays Off
Train Digimon on the Digifarm 30 times.
The Digifarm is accessed by speaking to Mirei Mikagura at the desk in The In-Between Theater. You’ll travel to this location as part of the main story.
Speak with Mirei and choose the, “I wanna check out the Digifarm” option. Place whatever Digimon you want into the farm. Interact with the Digimon you placed and then choose “Training.” Choose a training option and then your Digimon will be in a training session. You can spend Yen to complete the training right away or you can leave them there for a set amount of time and they will train on their own. You just need to do this at least 30 times to earn the Trophy. If you have a lot of money, you can do all 30 at once by saving first, train 30 times and then reload your save to get your money back. Anytime you train will be counted. It does not need to be the same Digimon.
Card Battle Debut
Win a card battle.
You’ll be introduced to the Jogmon Ultimate Card Game as you progress through the story. Once you have been, you can collect more cards by buying them from Card Shops, winning battles, winning or losing card battles and by defeating hostile Digimon. NPCs that you can battle will marked on your map.
You can win your first battle against the boy who introduces you to the game. He is right outside your apartment in Shinjuku: East Shopping District and acts as a tutorial on card battling.
A Card of Legend
Obtain a legendary card.
This is earned by completing the side mission, The Pinnacle of the Card World. This side mission will become available during the main mission, The Final Battle Over the Natural Order. You will also need to have completed A Gift From the Hosts and A Facilitator’s Woe side missions first.
During this quest, you will need to card battle and beat the Card King as well as the True Card King. The card battles are mostly RNG, but you can help yourself out a bit by playing the weakness of your opponents cards as well as playing higher numbered cards.

An Agent’s Proclivities
Collect ten or more costumes.
The word, “costume” is a little misleading here. You just need to buy any 10 pieces of clothing from vendors. Even if it just says “T-Shirt,” it counts toward this.
Elite Agent
Raise your Agent Rank to the maximum level.
The maximum level is 10. You increase this rank by buying all Agent Skills which are purchased with Anomaly Points. Anomaly Points are earned by completing story and side missions. You’ll end up 150 points short by doing every side and main quest in a single playthrough of the base game. So, you’ll need to start a second playthrough (NG+) on a cleared save file and earn the remaining points to finish this Trophy off.
The Deluxe and Ultimate versions of the game come with exclusive side quests, so you can use those missions for more points, if you own one of those editions of the game.
