Welcome to the Avowed Trophy Guide & Roadmap!
- 7/10 – Estimated Difficulty
- These aren’t so much difficult as they are very missable and require a certain way through the game.
- 55 – 65 – Estimated Hours to Completion
- 1 – Minimum Play-Throughs
- 1 Playthrough is possible but 2 are recommended
- Almost everything – Missable Trophies
- 1 – Difficulty Related Trophy
- 0 – Online Multiplayer Trophies
First up, there are A LOT of missable Trophies on this list. Some of them will cancel out others via story decisions. Everything here can be completed in a single playthrough, but it is going to require playing on the hardest difficulty, Path of the Damned, and you will need utilize some strategic save scumming. You will also need to aim for the evil ending. If you want to get everything in a single playthrough, you can follow along with the missable Trophy walkthrough below. Aside from that, you’re going to need to complete and find just about everything the game has to offer.
Whether or not you’re going for 1 playthrough or multiple, you’re going to need to be strict with your XP gains. You will need to reach the max level, 30, and it can be a little bit of a pain to reach. In order to reach level 30, you’re going to need to do everything possible in the game in addition to killing most of the enemies on each map. As you play through the game and travel across the maps, make sure you are killing every enemy you come across. You need to kill almost all of them. The various pieces of side content will take you across the majority of each map. All of that will need to be done to earn this Platinum anyway, so just make sure you’re killing everything you encounter in-between objectives. Enemies do not respawn and there is no free roam after the story. So you need to make sure to complete everything before crossing the point of no return, not only for every other Trophy on this list, but also for reaching level 30. When you do reach the point of no return, you’re going to want to be very close to, or at level 27. When you do cross through the point of no return, you’ll want to be just as thorough in the Garden as you were in the other regions. Fully explore and kill all of the enemies in the Garden.
The game will tell you when you reach the point of no return. There is no free roam after the story, so you will need to make sure you have everything completed before crossing over into the point of no return. The guide below will split into a walkthrough for missables as well as traditional Trophy guide below the walkthrough.
Missable Trophy Walkthrough
You’ll travel through the game by visiting the sections listed below in the same order. Do everything listed below when you reach each area. Also, you will want to kill any enemies you come across in the open world. Enemies don’t respawn and you don’t want to have comb over the maps near the end of the game looking for enemies for XP. Completing everything else on this list will provide the majority of the XP. When you reach the point of no return, you will want to be at level 27. The rest of the story will get you to level 30 from there. So, make sure you are killing as many enemies as you can as you make your way through the open world maps.
Fort Northreach
- Hawkeye – After dealing with the first 2 enemies, you’ll need to climb a ladder where you will drop down into some ruins. After dropping down, follow the path into the next room where there is a big green crystal in the back of the room. In this room, head over to the right side where you can find a dead NPC sitting up against the wall. There is a switch above his head that you can interact with to open the door to the hidden room. Enter the room to pop the Trophy. There will be an enemy inside.

Emerald Stair

- When speaking to Elia Rosell during The Animancy Method for the first time, choose the following dialogue options in order to earn the missable Retirement Plan Trophy. Before speaking to her, interact with the corpse on the ground next to her and pick up the item.
Pick up the Blighted Crop from the corpse.

- I already did. Looks like Beatrice ate some spoiled crops.
- Giatta wants your opinion on the Dreamscourge.
- I’m afraid he did.
- Let me guess, Silvo isn’t a cow or goat.
- Where do all of these corpses come from, anyway?
- Would you be interested in buying my future corpse?
Not only will you earn the Trophy here, but you will also be set up to receive the Revenant Bell Collar after dealing with Silvo. You need this item for another missable Trophy, Play Dead. You need to sell your corpse to her in order to receive the item. We will finish this off later in the game.

- Debt of Blood – This will be available in the Abandoned Farms after Ancient Soil as long as you let Fior mes Iverno burn down.
- Steel Resolve – You need to make a separate manual save at a certain point during this quest. For the purposes of this guide, we’ll call this save the SR save.
- When you’re ready, start Steel Resolve and progress it until you reach the objective, “Meet the Ranger at the Designated Location.” At that point, make a save (SR save) that you can revert back to before speaking to Ranger Dorso. We need to knock out a missable Trophy here that will contradict a different Trophy later on in the game.
- After making the SR save, speak to Ranger Dorso and choose the [Attack] option and kill her.
- After killing Dorso, travel to Waterfall Cave. This is found along the river west of Fior mes Iverno. It is almost straight east from the Wildwoods Outskirts Party Camp. The entrance is at the base of the waterfall. Once you’re in the cave, you will need to kill every Steel Garrote member inside of the cave. Go through the entire cave killing every Steel Garrote member until your companions talk to you in a short conversation about stopping an unknown Steel Garrote plan. This part is not marked or tracked as any quest.
- With all that done, advance The Animancy Method story mission as well as the Ancient Soil story quest.
- The Fior Extinguisher Trophy will pop when you return to Fior mes Iverno and speak to Governor Ignasi Vidaro.
- With Fior Extinguisher completed, reload your SR save from before you spoke to Ranger Dorso. This time do not attack her. Instead, choose, “I want to help you prepare Fior for Aedyran control.” Make sure to not kill any of the Steel Garrote members inside of Waterfall Cave.
- Continue The Animancy Method and Ancient Soil main quests. After Ancient Soil, head to the Abandoned Farms and do the Debt of Blood side quest.
- During A Path to the Garden, do not attack Aelfyr.
Shatterscarp

Then, speak to him again and use the remaining 2 pieces of Starmetal to upgrade the 2 weapons that he made.
- During the main story quest, “Our Dreams Divide Us Still,” you need to side with Lodwyn when you speak to her at Mt. Forja. There are multiple paths through the conversation, but you need end up choosing the option,
- You’re right. I’m going to the Garden to destroy Sapadal.
- Then, continue to side with Lodwyn for the rest of the conversation. This is progress toward the Tyranny ending.
- Later on in the same main story quest, “Our Dreams Divide Us Still,” you need to agree to help Kostya destroy the gears. Interact with the gears in the wall to make this choice. This is progress toward the Tyranny ending.
*Point of No Return* – Make a save before entering the Garden that you can revert back if needed. There is no free roam after the story.
The Garden
- Once you enter the garden, you will not be able to leave. So, you will need to finish anything you may have left over before entering. Make sure you’ve finished the following:
- Side Quests
- Bounties
- Treasure Maps
- Entering every Dungeon
- Unlock all camps/fast travel points
- Cook every recipe
- Fully upgrade a weapon and armor – If you haven’t done these yet, there will be materials in the Garden to loot that can be used for upgrading the final tier of your gear.
- Found all Totems
- All training sessions with your companions.
- Found every Ancient Memory
- You’ll also want to be at, level 27 before going through the point of no return in order to reach max level (30). It’s okay to be just under at level 26, but you need to get as close to 27 as you can. The rest of the story will provide you with the required amount of XP to reach 30. Be as thorough as you possibly can and kill every enemy in the final sections of the game. You need every bit of XP you can get.
- If you have any misc. Trophies left, you can complete them now or reload PONR save file afterwards to complete them.
- The remaining, dungeons, party camps, Strangled Adra, Ancient Memory are all found in the Garden.
- If you’ve entered every other dungeon so far, you’ll pop the “Dungeon Siege” upon entering the the Garden.
- After finding the first camp in the Garden, climb up the stone ledges to the left of the door that the objective marker is on. Climb up these and follow the path to the end where the optional quest, “Pulling Back the Veil” will begin with Giatta’s scene.
- Marius’ scene will be on the main story path.
- Progress through the area until you fight 2 of the new statue enemies at the same time. There will be a closed door ahead of you with 2 big chains hanging from either side after that fight. Don’t go through the door. Instead, take the path that goes left. There will be a floating rock with a light on it. Follow this path to the end for Kai’s scene.
- After a fight with enemies, there will be a section of water that you need to swim through in order to progress. Swim under water and go until you surface on the other side of the area. When you surface, swim to the left. You should find a doorway that is blocked with vines that you can burn away. Burn them and then use ice on the water to create a frozen platform that you can stand on to climb up the ledge you just burned away. Follow the path through that doorway until the end where you can find the 5th and final Strangled Adra.
- The final Ancient Memory is found in the Broken Aqueduct area of the Garden. It is behind a closed set of a doors at the top of some stairs. Get this before advancing the main story by platforming up the floating stones and logs
- After climbing up the floating stones and logs, you’ll eventually climb some stairs where a statue enemy is fighting a skeleton enemy. The story path will go left across another floating bridge made up of debris. Before going that way, go through the closed set of doors on the right. Go through them and into the next building to initiate Yatzli’s scene and to pop the “We’re All in This Together” Trophy.
- Continue through the Garden until you have to fight two Pristine Maegfolc. When you kill them, you will need to loot a Severed Maegfolc Arm from each of them. After looting those arms, you need to make a separate manual save that you can reload back to in a few minutes. Pick up the arms, make a save and then insert them into the machine. During the scene, choose to free Sapadal. This will earn you the Allochory Trophy.
- After earning Allochory, reload the save you made at the machine. This time, you will need to make the choice to destroy Sapadal. This will earn you the Parasitoid Trophy as well as advance you toward the Tyranny ending. Even after getting both of these Trophies, make sure to keep a save file at this point jus tin case you finish the game under missing level 30.
Dawnshore
- When speaking to Hylgard, you need to choose the following options:
- I already know what I’m fighting for – Lodwyn’s vision for the living lands.
- Lodwyn is right – the empire must change. Taking the Living Lands will ensure it does.
- Doing so will unlock the, “Everyone Disliked That” Trophy.
- Make your way to Lodwyn fighting through the town. Make sure to kill every enemy you come across so that you get enough XP to reach level 30.
- When speaking to Lodwyn, you need to join her. Choose options that side with her and then renounce Sapadal. Once that is done, you’ll earn the Tyranny Trophy as well as the difficulty related Trophies.
- If you just barely missed reaching level 30, you can reload the save you made just before deciding what to do with Sapadal. This time, free them and then bump the difficulty down to story. Replay the final section of the game by NOT joining the Steel Garrote. There are more enemies to kill in the final section when you do not side with the Steel Garrote as opposed to joining them. This means there is more XP to earn on the good ending than the Tyranny ending. Unfortunately, you will need to reload the point of no return save file and get more XP if the good ending method does not work for you. I entered the Garden at 322,007 XP of level 26 and missed reaching 30 on the Tyranny ending. I did the good ending method and was able to reach level 30.
Post Game
Unfortunately, there is no free roam after beating the story. If there is anything you have left, you will need to reload an earlier save and finish it all off.

Peak Performance
Reach max level.
MISSABLE
The max level is 30 and this can be a pain to get if you are not thorough throughout your playthrough. The game will tell you when you reach the point of no return.
When you do reach the point of no return, you’re going to want to be very close to, or at level 27. When you do cross through the point of no return, you’ll want to be just as thorough in the Garden as you were in the other regions. Fully explore and kill all of the enemies in the Garden.
If you are going for the Tyranny ending, make a separate manual save right before deciding to free or kill Sapadal at the end of the Garden. This will be when you have to insert 2 Severed Maegfolc Arms into a machine. If you just barely missed reaching level 30 after the evil ending, you can reload the save you made just before deciding what to do with Sapadal. This time, free them and then replay the final section of the game by NOT joining the Steel Garrote. There are more enemies to kill in the final section when you do not side with the Steel Garrote as opposed to joining them. This means there is more XP to earn on the good ending than the Tyranny ending. I entered the Garden at 322,007 XP of level 26 and missed reaching 30 on the Tyranny ending. I did the good ending method and was able to reach level 30.
Unfortunately, you will need to reload the point of no return save file and get more XP if the good ending method does not work for you. You’ll have to comb through each map and clear them of enemies.

Discover all Party Camps across the Living Lands.
Party camps are camp sites marked by a big green crystal. When you interact with them, you’ll set up a camp where you can speak to your companions, cook food, store gear and upgrade your gear. These camps also function as fast travel points. All you have to do is interact with the crystal to set up camp which will count it as “discovered.” There are 20 of them across the different maps. You’ll come across them as you work toward completing this Trophy list. There are 2 camps found in the endgame section, the Garden, after the point of no return. So, you will need to have found 18 camps before crossing the point of no return.

Two Bears High-Fiving
Summon a bear to fight another bear.
Before you can earn this, you’re going to need to reach level 15. Then, you will need to unlock the Bear Ally ability in the Ranger tree. You just need to put one skill into it. After you’ve done that, simply use that ability when fighting a bear to summon one of your own.
Dungeon Siege
Enter every dungeon across all regions.
There are 17 dungeons that you will need to enter. You don’t need to go through them completely, you just need to enter them in order for them to be registered. However, working through this Trophy list will take you to just about all of them. There are just a couple that the side and main story won’t take you to. The final dungeon is the Garden, which is the area you go to once you pass through the point of no return. So you will need to have entered 16 of the 17 dungeons before going through the point of no return.

If you’re doing everything in a single playthrough, you’ll have to reload that save and let the city burn after getting the previously mentioned Trophy. Letting the city burn will not require you to come to this cave. So, make sure that you come back here on the evil playthrough. Just enter it and leave. Do not kill anyone inside on your evil playthrough.

Alpha Strike Protocol
Kill 15 enemies using stealth attacks.
Stealth attacks can be performed by approaching an unaware enemy from behind and then pressing
when the prompt appears on screen. In order for it to count, the enemy must be killed in a single blow. As you level up your weapons and character, focus these attacks on the weaker enemies found in Dawnshore to make sure you’re killing them in a single blow.
You cannot farm the same enemy to earn this. You can track how many stealth kills you have on the Character tab of the pause screen. Scroll down with the right stick to view stats.
Jingle, Jangle, Jingle
Equip a fully upgraded set of armor.
MISSABLE
In order to earn this, as well as Big Iron On Your Hip, you will need to upgrade a piece of armor and a weapon to max and then equip them. Materials for crafting can be found in chests, on dead enemies, found in backpacks out in the maps, acquired by breaking down items and bought from vendors. You can upgrade your gear at party camps. You can also use materials to craft other materials from the crafting menu at camp. Just tab over to Materials. So make sure you are looting everything you can for materials. The upgrades for weapons and armor are in tiers.
Common > Fine > Exceptional > Superb > Legendary. There are three upgrades per tier and the resources for each tier are found on specific maps. For this and Big Iron On Your Hip, you will need to upgrade all three slots of the legendary tier.
- Dawnshore has common materials
- Emerald Stair has fine materials
- Shatterscarp has exceptional materials
- Galawain’s Tusks has superb materials
- The Garden has legendary materials.
- Dawnshore Endgame – The vendor Sanza will also sell legendary materials.
Tyranny
Be knighted as a member of the Steel Garrote.
MISSABLE
This earned by reaching the evil ending in the game. You’re going to have make several choices throughout the story in order to reach this ending. If you are trying to do everything in a single playthrough, you can, but you will need to make strategic manual saves that you can revert back to. All of those moments are outlined in the walkthrough at the top of this guide. You need to side with Lodwyn during conversations as well as the choices below:
- Kill Ygwulf during An Untimely End.
- Near the end of the Steel Resolve side quest, choose, “I want to help you prepare Fior for Aedyran control.” when speaking to Dorso. Also, make sure to not kill any of the Steel Garrote members inside of Waterfall Cave.
- During A Path to the Garden, do not attack Aelfyr.
- During the main quest, Shadows of the Past, you have to allow Lodwyn to destroy Naku Kubel.
- During the main story quest, “Our Dreams Divide Us Still,” you need to side with Lodwyn when you speak to her at Mt. Forja.
- Later on in the same main story quest, “Our Dreams Divide Us Still,” you need to agree to help Kostya destroy the gears.
- Kill Sapadal in the Garden
- When speaking to Hylgard in Dawnshore (endgame), you need to tell him you are with Lodwyn. Your companions will leave you here.
- When you meet Lodwyn at the end of the game, tell her you are with her.

Once you’re at that level, make your way across the ledges heading back south toward where the camp is. A Test of Your Reflexes
Complete Avowed on the difficulty Path of the Damned.
MISSABLE
Path of the Damned is the hardest difficulty in Avowed and it is unlocked from the very start. So, you can do everything in a single playthrough if you’d like.
The very beginning of the game is going to be difficult. But the longer you go, the easier it gets. You’ll get better weapons, upgrade your weapons and flesh out your build. It’s still a challenge, but it is much more manageable the further you get. There is no method for cheesing this difficulty, so you’re going to need to play it from start to finish.
- Save your game often. Especially before combat encounters. Save after them as well.
- Use ranged attacks with a bow when you’re able.
- Crouch and sneak up behind enemies to deal heavy damage to them with a sneak attack when within range.
- Kill ranged enemies as quickly as you can. They can make combat encounters more difficult the longer they stay up.
- Kill Priest enemies immediately. They heal enemies quickly, so go after them first.
- Kill chanter enemies as quickly as you can. They repeatedly spawn new enemies.
- Kite enemies away from large groups. Most combat encounters have an invisible line that enemies will turn around and stop following you at. Just keep dodging or running away from enemies. Try to get them 1 on 1.
- Use companion abilities that steal aggro from enemies.
- Explore as much as you can in order to find crafting materials, weapons, gear and consumables.
- The Constant Recovery ability in the Fighter tree is very helpful. You will regen health after taking damage.
- Armored Grace ability in the Fighter tree will reduce the stamina penalty for wearing heavier armor.
- The Evasive ability in the Ranger tree reduces how much stamina is used by dodging.
- Get to the Ancient Memories in each region quickly so you can get a new Godlike ability.
- If you’re having trouble with a specific fight, you can respec your build to try the fight a different way.
Get in the Statue, Envoy
Contemplate death.
MISSABLE
This Trophy is earned during the side quest, Dawntreader, in Dawnshore. You can get this quest from Ofryc. Ofryc is found outside of the Aedyran Embassy on the south side of the building in Southern Paradis. Make sure to earn the Historian Trophy during this side quest as well. Make your way through the quest until you have picked up the Relic. Bring the Relic back to the Oracle. Before speaking to the Oracle, make a manual save. Then, speak to him and choose the following dialogue options:
- I have your relic.
- Yes, I will put the relic in the statue.
Go and put the relic in the statue’s chest. Speak to the Oracle afterwards.
- Sure, I’ll let you put my soul in the statue.
- I understand. I’m ready to go.
Go and stand at objective marker B. From here, you’ll be killed and the Trophy will pop. Reload your manual save from before you did this and then finish the side quest whichever way you’d like.
We’re All In This Together
Complete all companion moments in the Garden.
MISSABLE
This is earned after the point of no return in the Garden. You’ll earn this for completing the optional main story quest, “Pulling Back the Veil.” As you progress through the Garden, there will be locations where one of your companions will be standing by themselves. You need to go and interact with them and then complete the conversation that follow each one. Make sure you do this before leaving the Garden.
- After climbing up the floating stones and logs later in the mission, you’ll eventually climb some stairs where a statue enemy is fighting a skeleton enemy. The story path will go left across another floating bridge made up of debris. Before going that way, go through the closed set of doors on the right. Go through them and into the next building to initiate Yatzli’s scene
Dream Fungi Rotation
Try Aiko’s drugs with your companions.
MISSABLE
This Trophy is earned during the side quest, The Wasteland Courier, in Shatterscarp. You can pick up this quest from Daiko at Leviathan Market in Thirdborn. You’re going to need to have Kai in your party for this quest.
Continue the quest until you speak to Aiko. He will give you the Suspicious Package. When you leave the area, Kai will stop you and suggest trying the Drugs. Choose, “Kai, why don’t we give it a try?” to try the drugs and pop this Trophy.
Skeyt Digger
Demand payment for your services 5 times.
MISSABLE
For this, you need to choose dialogue options in conversations that ask for money for completing tasks. These will usually come during side quests. Carefully read the dialogue options and choose the one that is asking for money for your services. These can happen before a quest or when turning one in. There are plenty of opportunities for this, but here are 5 below that can be done in Dawnshore. You can track how many bribes you have on the Character tab of the pause screen. Scroll down with the right stick to view stats. You cannot farm the same NPC by reloading a save. This must also be done on the same playthrough. The counter will restart on a second playthrough.
- Speaking to Dehengen after first landing in Dawnshore – “I Might be able to find one. What’s it worth to you?”
- Speaking to Hylgard after killing the bear for him – “Pay up and I’ll see it doesn’t happen” (Might 4)
- Speaking to Belia near the Administration District Beacon in Paradis – “Courier work is usually a paying job.”
- Speaking to Miteno after finding all of the suolenets – “Oh no. That was dangerous work. I’ve been paid.”
- Speaking to Hylgard after giving him the missive – “Great, message delivered. Let’s talk about my payment.” (Might 4)
Reverse Card
Kill Captain Ngunu with his own poison.
MISSABLE
This Trophy is earned during the side quest, One Last Drink, in Shatterscarp. You can pick up this quest from Captain Ngunu at The Dead Swordfish in Thirdborn.
Progress through the quest recruiting 2 of the 3 NPCs to go to the reunion. Go to Ruanga last. Ruanga will refuse to go as she does not trust Captain Ngunu. In order to get her to go, you will need to travel to Thirdborn. Do not speak with Ngunu yet. Instead, go to the southeast corner of Thirdborn to Fleet Master’s Perch. Climb up the ladder in that area to reach Ngunu’s quarters. This part will not be marked or tracked.
Once there, read the book, Perilous Plants and Where to Pick Them. Then, use 3 lockpicks to pick the lock of the small lockbox next to the book and loot Ngunu’s Vial of Poison. Then, travel back to Ruanga and speak to her. Tell her,
- I visited the captain’s quarters in the lighthouse. I think he plans to poison you.
- What if you turned the tables on him?
- If your Resolve is too low, choose “If we do nothing, Kowha dies, and Ngunu gets away with everything.” Or you can respec your points for Resolve.
Return to The Dead Swordfish. As you enter, you’ll be tasked with taking the drinks up to the reunion. Go upstairs and speak to Ngunu. When he asks you about the drinks from the bartender, choose:
- [Switch cups and give Ngunu and Tauwe poisoned rum.] Drink it in good health.
He’ll drink the poison and the Trophy will pop during the scene.
Retirement Plan
Sell your future corpse to Elia.
MISSABLE
This Trophy is earned during the main story mission, The Animancy Method.
When speaking to Elia Rosell during The Animancy Method for the first time, choose the following dialogue options: Before speaking to her, interact with the corpse on the ground next to her and pick up the item.
Pick up the Blighted Crop from the corpse.
-
- What happened here?
- Do they work for free?
- I already did. Looks like Beatrice ate some spoiled crops.
- Giatta wants your opinion on the Dreamscourge.
- I’m afraid he did.
- Let me guess, Silvo isn’t a cow or goat.
- Where do all of these corpses come from, anyway?
- Would you be interested in buying my future corpse?
You’ll earn the Trophy after the final dialogue choice.
Not only do you need to do this for this Trophy, but you also need to do these exact steps in order to earn the Revenant Bell Collar for the Play Dead Trophy.
Take care of Silvo and then speak with Elia again. She will give you the Revenant Bell Collar.
With Retirement Plan done, you need the bell collar for another Trophy. The Dead Man’s Mail Treasure map reward will be the Necropants. These are needed for the Play Dead Trophy. The map is on a body in a tent under the letter “S” in “Sea” in the Great Sand Sea. The treasure chest is found at the base of a tower in a locked chest shortly north from the Tago’s Tower Beacon in Shark’s Teeth. Equip the Necropants and Revenant Bell Collar at the same time to pop the Trophy. You cannot get Play Dead if you didn’t already have Retirement Plan done.
Hawkeye
Find the hidden room in Fort Northreach.
MISSABLE
This can be earned shortly after the beginning of the game. After dealing with the first 2 enemies, you’ll need to climb a ladder where you will drop down into some ruins.
That Sign Can’t Stop Me Because I Can’t Read
Ignore the warning note and pull the lever in the Sand Sea Ruins.
MISSABLE
This Trophy is earned during the side quest, Heart of Valor, in Shatterscarp. You can pick up this quest from Chiko in Thirdborn.
Progress the quest until you are in The Sand Sea Ruins dungeon. As soon as you enter the ruins, go forward a bit and there will be a lever on the left side of the path. There will also be a note posted right next to the lever. You need to read the note first and then pull the lever. Move backwards as soon as you pull the lever so that you don’t take damage from the trap. Taking damage isn’t a factor in this Trophy, but if you’re playing on Path of the Damned, you don’t want to be taking any unnecessary damage.
Tired Of Being Nice
Resort to violence in a conversation 10 times.
MISSABLE
When speaking to other NPCs, there will sometimes be an option to attack them. For this Trophy, you will need to choose the [Attack] option 10 times. You can track how many violent conversation endings you have on the Character tab of the pause screen. Scroll down with the right stick to view stats. You cannot farm the same NPC by reloading a save. This must also be done on the same playthrough. The counter will restart on a second playthrough.
Can’t We All Get Along?
Resolve a potential conflict peacefully 5 times.
MISSABLE
This Trophy will apply to every conversation that can either end in a fight, or through peace via conversation. Avoiding conflict will usually involve passing skill checks during the conversation. Having an option to choose [Attack] is usually an indicator that things can be ended peacefully. You only need to do this 5 times and there will be many chances to do this. Make a save before speaking to any NPC just in case you make the wrong dialogue choice, or if you want to try a different way through the conversation. You can reload it and try again if needed/wanted. You can track how many peaceful resolutions you have on the Character tab of the pause screen. Scroll down with the right stick to view stats. You cannot farm the same NPC by reloading a save. This must also be done on the same playthrough. The counter will restart on a second playthrough.
A Well Overflowing
Max out an attribute.
MISSABLE
You will have 6 different attributes under the Character tab that you can increase when leveling up.
- Might
- Constitution
- Dexterity
- Perception
- Intellect
- Resolve
In order to earn this Trophy, you’re going to need to max out any 1 of the attributes listed above. The max level is 15. The easiest way to earn this is later on in the game when you have at least 15 attribute points, make a save, respec your attribute points and put 15 points in one and then reload your save after popping the Trophy.
Pants on Fire
Lie 15 times.
MISSABLE
For this Trophy, you will need to choose the dialogue option that says, [Lie], 15 different times. You can track how many lies you have told on the Character tab of the pause screen. Scroll down with the right stick to view stats. You cannot farm the same NPC by reloading a save. This must also be done on the same playthrough. The counter will restart on a second playthrough.
Training Arc
Complete all training sessions with companions.
MISSABLE
Training sessions with your companions will happen at your camps. You need to speak with your companions at your camps and completely exhaust all of their dialogue and they will offer to “train” you. You’ll get to pick what they train you on. You only have to do this 1 time with each companion.
- You can be trained by Kai in Dawnshore. Complete some side quests with him and then speak to him at camp. Exhaust all of his dialogue options when asking about him. If this doesn’t pop up, just continue playing and check back with him later on.
- Marius is a little more difficult than the rest. You need to speak to him in all four of the regions and ask him about each region. You also need to ask him for tips in all 4 regions. He’ll offer you training in Galawain’s Tusks after asking him about each zone.
- Giatta offers her training almost immediately after recruiting her. Just do the same thing as the rest, keep exhausting her dialogue options.
- Yatzli is similar to Giatta.
Now Riposte!
Parry an enemy’s attacks 25 times.
In order to get this, you will need to unlock at least level 1 of the Parry ability from the Ranger ability tree. Then, you will need to parry enemy attacks with either a shield or a melee weapon. You need to press
just before an enemy hits you to parry them. If you don’t want to spend these points on this ability, you can make save, respec your points, unlock the ability, go get the Trophy and then reload the save.
Cooking By The Book
Cook every recipe at your Party Camp.
MISSABLE
At your camp, you can interact with the fire to cook food. You will start the game with most of the recipes already unlocked. There is only 1 recipe that needs to be found. The remaining recipes will need to be unlocked by putting 3 ability points into the Survivalist ability in the Ranger tree. If you don’t want to spend these points on this ability, you can make save, respec your points, unlock the ability, go get the Trophy and then reload the save.
Ivory Spinner – This is the only recipe you need to find. It is found in a destroyed building in Felipe’s Depression in Emerald Stair next to a pot of food.
If you cook everything and this does not pop, reload your save and then cook the food by type in the Cooking menu. Don’t go down the list of “All Recipes.” Instead, cook everything from the three lists, Cooked Meat, Beverages, Prepared Food. I don’t know why, but cooking the items from those menus seems to count toward this, whereas cooking them from “All Recipes” does not.
Historian
Collect all volumes of the History of the Living Lands in the Eothasian Temple.
MISSABLE
This Trophy is earned during the side quest, Dawntreader, in Dawnshore. You can get this quest from Ofryc. Ofryc is found outside of the Aedyran Embassy on the south side of the building in Southern Paradis. Make sure to complete the Get in the Statue, Envoy Trophy during this quest as well. Once you have the quest, you will need to find 5 books in the Temple of Eothas. This is not the objective of the quest, so don’t forget to pick these up while you’re there. You have to get all 5 before leaving the Temple of Eothas as you cannot re-enter it afterwards. These will become available to find after meeting Caedmon during the quest.
History of the Living Lands I: Origin
When standing in front of Caedmon, turn to your right and go over the fallen shelf. Then, look right again to see a hole you can crouch through. Go through it. Use a melee weapon in the tunnel to breakdown some wood. The book is found in the next room on top of some crates.
History of the Living Lands II: Lacuna
From where the Oracle is standing in front of a big statue, this book is found up in the highest room of that area. You will need to climb up the statue by platforming. Make your way up the statue, and then behind it at the top. Continue following the platforming path until you have reached the highest room there. The book is in that room
History of the Living Lands III: Glossolalia
From the Oracle, head down the hallway toward the objective marker. Turn right at the end and swim through the water. Continue swimming all the way to the end where the underwater hallway will go left toward stairs. Go up those stairs and you’ll be in a room with a lot of books on the shelves. This book is to your immediate left upon entering the room up on a shelf high up above a doorway.
History of the Living Lands IV: Redacted
Make your way to the Relic. There are pots to the right of where the Relic is. Smash those pots and crouch through the opening in the wall and then look into a coffin on your left in that tunnel to find this book.
History of the Living Lands V: Synthesis
Take the elevator up after deciding what to do with the Splinter. The final book is found in the first room you enter after the elevator up. It is behind the bookshelf on the left side of the room
