RAAAAGE!!!

Trigger a Rage Attack

In order to trigger a Rage Attack, you will need to first pick up a Rage powerup token randomly dropped by the UFO flying around during fights. These are the red tokens with Godzilla on them. Pick one up when you see one and you’ll have a temporary amount of Rage. Once you have that, press + at the same time and you’ll preform a Rage Attack. This can be done in any mode.

A Good Head for Research

Complete 5 research projects

Research projects are found in the G-Force Lab in the main menu. There will be Rumors and Projects. Before you can work on a project, you will need to complete the requirements listed on them in Rumors. Each Rumor will have a set of objectives that need to be completed. Once those are completed, the Rumor will then turn into a project. Unlike the rumors, the projects will have XP bars that need to be filled. This XP will come from completing fights across all game modes. At the end of a fight or mode, you’ll get a breakdown of your points and they will count toward whichever active project you have going at the time. You can only have 1 project active at a time, but you can choose which one you want to work on. The Survival Mode is the best mode for earning XP toward Research Projects.

I Can Survive

Finish 5 games of Survival Mode

In Survival Mode, you have to fight enemies one after the other surviving for as long as you can. For this trophy, you’ll just need to play Survival. When you lose, that will be counted as progress toward the trophy. So, even if you lose in the first round, it will count as trophy progress.

Hidden Treasure

Locate a hidden gallery token

See the, “Pipeworks Superfan,” trophy below for more details.

Total Rampaging Destruction

Earn at least 10,000 points in a Destruction Mode game

This trophy is earned while playing Destruction Mode. All you need to do here is destroy as much of the city as you can before time runs out. Knock down and throw buildings as fast as you can. Each building you knock down will add points to your score for the round. You can use your Special Weapon attack by holding to destroy multiple buildings in a singe attack. You should also keep an eye out for the UFO when it drops the Rage Token. Pick it up and press + at the same time to preform a Rage Attack. This will destroy a large group of buildings all at once. You just need to have scored more than 10,000 points when given your score at the end of the Destruction round.

Vortaak Energy Hoarder

Collect 10 or more powerups in a single battle

While fighting, there will be a UFO flying around dropping random powerup tokens. In order to earn this, you will need to pick up at least 10 of these during the same fight. The fights can go by pretty quickly, so you will want to try to avoid fighting to give the UFO time to drop that many. Keep an eye on the UFO and follow it. Pick up any token that it drops. Keep doing that until the trophy pops. This can be done easily with a second controller or co-op partner. Leave the second controller alone and then run around the map picking up tokens as they spawn. If you do this with a partner, same thing. Just have them stand by and wait while you pick these up. There will be just enough time in a VS round to pick up 11 to 12 tokens.

Don’t Feel Bad…

Get frozen 15 times by the Freeze Tank

When playing on the city based maps, there will be bigger than usual tank driving around the map. It’ll make its way for wherever you and your opponent are fighting. When it is close enough, it will shoot a beam that can freeze you for a short time. It can also target your opponent, so it won’t always go just for you. This will track over the entire game, so this is something that will eventually come over time as you work toward other thigs. If you want to speed this up, you can play the Destruction Mode. There will be no opponent to fight here. Find the tank on the map and just stand near it. Let it freeze you over and over until the round ends.

Tank Smasher

Earn at least 1000 points from Vehicle Destruction

This can be earned in the Destruction game mode. While destroying the city, there will be tanks that are driving around on the streets below you. As you walk around and destroy buildings, you’ll also end up destroying these tanks. You’ll earn points for destroying them, so you just need to have earned over 1,000 points in Vehicle Destruction when the round is over. 1,000 points is easy to earn and you will earn this without going out of your way for it. The tanks will be quickly destroyed as you are destroying the city. So just focus on destroying as much as you can and the tanks will be destroyed along with everything else.

Burning Toes

Cause at least 5 hotfoot reactions with Megalon’s Napalm in a single battle

This can be earned while playing as Megalon. All you need to do here is tap while having some energy to shoot down some napalm at your enemy. They then need to step in it and do the animation where they are jumping around holding their foot. This does not need to be done in a single match, it can be, but this will count across all modes when performed successfully. This can be done easily with a second controller or co-op partner.

Grab ‘N Go

Perform a Rage Grab with Orga

You will need to first pick up a Rage powerup token randomly dropped by the UFO flying around during fights. These are the red tokens with Godzilla on them. Pick one up when you see one and you’ll have a temporary amount of Rage. Once you have that, press to grab an enemy. That’s all you need to do. Grab an enemy while you have Rage.

Surprise!

Teleport behind an opponent as Gigan

While playing as Gigan, you can hold + tap . If it doesn’t pop right away, just keep trying. It’s unclear if you have to land directly behind, or a certain distance from your opponent. I did it shortly after the start of a fight and it popped.

What Lurks Beneath

Grab an opponent while burrowed

This can be earned while playing as Megalon. Press +  to burrow underground. While you’re underground, get under your opponent and then press to grab them as you come out from underground. This can be done easily with a second controller or co-op partner.

Urban Renewal

Throw 10 buildings in a single match

On the city maps there are buildings that you can pick up and throw. These will be highlighted blue when you are close to them. When you are within range of picking them up, they will be highlighted in red. Press to pick up the building and then press any of your attack buttons to throw them. Run around a map picking up and throwing buildings until this pops. This can be done easily with a second controller/co-op partner or in Destruction Mode.

Big Air

Knockdown an airborne opponent with the Cross Attack Beam Uppercut

To earn this trophy, you will need to play as Mechagodzilla. Set up a custom match against Rodan. When Rodan is flying, press up on the Left Stick + . It might be a little tricky to get the timing down, but eventually, you’ll shoot a beam out of Mechagodzilla’s chest and hit Rodan while he is in the air. You want to do the button combo before Rodan heads toward you as there is a little bit of a delay before the attack shoots. You should also have a full energy bar when going for this trophy.

Cold as Ice

Freeze an opponent with the Absolute Zero Cannon

This is unlocked with Kiryu. In order to perform the Absolute Zero Cannon move, you will need to first pick up a Rage token. Pick one up when you see one and you’ll have a temporary amount of Rage. Once you have that, press + at the same time and you’ll preform the Absolute Zero Cannon. This can be done easily with a second controller or co-op partner.

Blown Away

Knock down an opponent 5 times in a single match using Rodan’s Wind Attack

This is earned while playing as Rodan. You need to knock down your opponent 5 times in the same fight by using the Triple Wing Gust combo. The description says “wind attack,” but this is the attack it is referring to. In order to do so, you need to press + + . The final attack in that combo is the wind attack that knocks the enemy over. Just keep spamming that combo until the trophy pops. Remember, this needs to be done during the same fight. It is not accumulative across the whole game.

It Only Tickles…

Absorb 30 weapon attacks with Mecha King Ghidorah’s shield

This is earned while playing as Mecha King Ghidorah. While playing as him, make sure to keep your energy bar full as often as you can. When your opponent uses their weapon attack, this will be the attack is a form of beam shot at you, you want to hold while you have a full, or mostly full energy bar. Mecha Ghidorah’s block will surround himself with a shield that will absorb the attack and refill your health. When your energy bar is empty, the shield will not deploy. So anytime you see your opponent charging up their weapon attack, hold to absorb it. You’ll need to do this 30 times across the game. This does not need to be done in a single match. This can be done easily with a second controller or co-op partner. One player shoots a weapon attack while the other absorbs it. Wait for energy bars to refill and then repeat.

Better With Friends

Finish a match against a human opponent. Online or local

All you have to do here is play one match against another person online, or locally with another controller. You do not have to win the match, you just need to complete it. If you have another controller, you can simply beat up on an inactive opponent to earn the trophy.

Finishing Move

KO 50 opponents with a full charge of Godzilla’s High-Energy Breath

In order to earn this trophy, you’re going to need to get the killing blow on your opponent with a fully charged weapon attack from Godzilla. This means your energy bar has to be completely filled. This can be done across any of the game modes. Fight your opponent until they have just a little bit of health left. Wait for your energy bar to be completely full. Once it is, hold to fully power up Godzilla’s attack. It’ll automatically shoot once it has fully charged. Hit the enemy to kill them and win the match. This can be done with both Godzilla as well as Godzilla 200. Both of them will count. This can be done easily with a second controller or co-op partner.

Without a Scratch

Win an adventure or survival match with full health

This trophy needs to be done during adventure mode. I would recommended that you try this when fighting Rodan on Easy difficulty. For this trophy, you want to be fast and very aggressive. Stay on the attack as aggressively as you can so you can take him out quickly. Not only do you need to worry about blocking and avoiding attacks from your opponent, but you will also be attacked by the military. They’ll do damage to you. So you want to quickly finish Rodan off before the military starts to attack. Rodan has very low defense and will take a lot of damage quickly. You can block most attacks by holding . Blocking weapon attacks will only reduce the damage, it wont stop it. You also cannot block the grab attack. If the weapon attack is charging up, get behind something to take cover. Otherwise, you can block everything else from your opponent without taking damage.

You can use Mecha-King Ghidorah for this as his block will absorb the beam damage and turn it in to health. That will only last for as long as there is energy in your meter, so make sure the energy meter is full.

At The Buzzer!

Win an adventure match with less than 3 seconds on the clock

This has to be done during Adventure mode. Rounds are 5 minutes. In order to earn this trophy, you need to beat your opponent within the final 3 seconds of the match. For this trophy, play on easy and get your opponents health down very low. Low enough so that one more hit will finish them off. Then, just stay away from them and wait for the clock to run down. You can press to freely run to get away. Just keep running away from whoever you’re fighting. At about 10 seconds, start to get closer and then attack when the clock hits 0:03 to finish them off.

Adventure Complete?

Complete Adventure Mode with 12 original characters

For this trophy, you’re going to have to beat the Adventure Classic Mode one time with all 12 of the original characters. As you unlock the characters through Research Projects, make sure to use them to beat Adventure Classic. This can be done on any difficulty and in any monster order. The game will keep track of who you have beaten it with. Once you’ve beaten Adventure Classic, a crown icon will be next to where it says, Adventure Classic after selecting a character.

Kaiju Maxxing

Reach level 10 with a monster

This is something that will likely come naturally over time as you work toward grinding through everything else on this trophy list. The level cap is 10, so you just need to keep using the same monster and get them to level 10. You only need one to reach 10.

Self-Restraint

Finish an Adventure Mode fight on the Mothership without destroying the inner barrier

The final fight in Arcade Mode will be against Mechagodzilla and will take place on a spaceship. When the fight first starts, you’ll both be contained in a smaller circle on the map. You’ll be surrounded by some buildings and a force field. If you destroy any of these buildings in the initial ring, the force field will go away and you’ll be able to explore the wider map. For this trophy, you have to beat Mechagodzilla without destroying that force field. Try to keep the fight in the center of the area as best as you can. Try to avoid throwing Mechagodzilla into the buildings. You’ll also want to be careful when using your weapon attack. You don’t want to miss and accidentally destroy one of the buildings with it. If your fight is starting to get close to the barrier or buildings, back up and draw him away from them.

Super Scales

Perform 25 Super Knock Down attacks against Ghidorah

This works the exact same way as the, Super Armor, trophy. This can be done in any mode when fighting against Ghidorah. In order to perform a Super Knock Down, you need to first get a Rage token. Pick one up when you see one and you’ll have a temporary amount of Rage. Once you have that, get close to Ghidorah and press Down on the Left Stick +  to perform the attack. You can get a few of these hits in per Rage token. This can easily be done with a second controller. Keep an eye out for a Rage token, grab it, perform the attack and then move the left stick on the other controller to get Ghidorah back up and then perform the attack again. Repeat that until Rage runs out and then start over with the next token. This does not need to be done in the same match.

Stop Hitting Yourself

Cause 500 parry reactions with Anguirus’s Shell

For this trophy, you’ll need to play as Anguirus. When an enemy goes to attack you, hold to block. When you block as Anguirus, he’ll turn around and aim his spikes on his back at your opponent. Your opponent will take damage when they hit Anguirus’ back as you hold . You’ll know you did it right because the enemy will bounce off of you, or an animation will play of them hurting themselves. 500 of these is a lot, but it can go somewhat quickly as long as you are making sure to block very often. If you have another controller, you can quickly knock this out in a Custom game. Hold so that your back is facing toward the opponent. Then with the other hand, just do some basic attacks at Anguirus’ back on the other controller.

Worth the Wait

Cause 250 Knockdowns with a charged beam attack

To earn this trophy, you need to hit an opponent with a fully charged weapon attack with and they need to be knocked over as a result. They can’t just block it. In order for this to count, your energy bar needs to be completely full and you need to hold to fully charge it all the way up. This can be boosted with another controller. You can also play set up a custom battle with three monsters. When the match starts back up and let the other monsters fight each other. While standing off to the side, charge up your beam and hit both monsters. Stay away from the fight and let your energy build back up to do it again. That way, you can get multiple knockdowns per use.

Stay Down

Strike a prone opponent 250 times

During fights, you’ll knock opponents down and they will be laying down on the ground. For this trophy, you need to hit enemies will they are laying down on the ground. Be careful when near a prone enemy as they will likely do a spin attack as they try to get back up. So when they’re down you’ll need to attack quickly. You can also use your weapon attacks to hit opponents while they are down. When using that, you can just point your beam attack down at them and it’ll hit them. 250 sounds like a lot, but this is something that should actually happen naturally over time as you grind through the rest of the list.

Kaiju Speed Run

Complete any Adventure Mode in under 12 minutes

This is something that will likely come over time as you grind through Adventure Mode. This only counts in Adventure Mode. You need to finish all fights as quickly as you can so that you finish in under 12 minutes. Pick your highest leveled monster and play through Adventure Classic on easy. Beat your opponents as fast as you can and make sure to skip all of the pre and post fight screens to save as much time as you can.

Pipeworks Connoisseur

Collect 20 gallery items

The Adventure Continues…

Complete Adventure+ Mode with any character

This is earned by completing Adventure Challenge. There is nothing in the game that is called Adventure+ Mode. In order to play Adventure Challenge, you need to have a monster at least to level 7. You can only use level 7s and higher in that mode. So, once you have one, complete Adventure Challenge with them. This can be done on any difficulty.

Battle of the Millennium

Defeat Orga as Godzilla 2000 in Tokyo

Once you have both characters and the location, you can set this fight up in the Custom Battle. You need to play as Godzilla 2000 and you need to fight against Orga. Make sure to set the battle in Tokyo. From there, all you need to do is beat Orga in both rounds of the custom battle to pop the trophy. This can be done with another controller if you’d like.

Lunar Research

Spend 384,400 Research Points

Research Points will be spent automatically as you earn them. They’ll be used on your Research Projects. This trophy will come over time naturally as you unlock all of the monsters and locations.

A Warrior Most Deadly

Win any match as Destoroyah while spending 0 energy

While playing as Destoroyah, you will need to win a match without using any of his energy attacks. Some of his combos will include energy attacks. These will be the Katana attacks and the laser combos. So stick to any attacks that do not have those in the names. This can be made very easy by doing this with a second controller. Just have the opponent stand there and beat them up using basic and general attacks.

Super Armor

Perform 25 Super Knock Down attacks against Kiryu

This works the exact same way as the, Super Scales, trophy. This can be done in any mode when fighting against Kiryu. In order to perform a Super Knock Down, you need to first get a Rage token. Pick one up when you see one and you’ll have a temporary amount of Rage. Once you have that, get close to Kiryu and press Down on the Left Stick +  to perform the attack. You can get a few of these hits in per Rage token. This can easily be done with a second controller. Keep an eye out for a Rage token, grab it, perform the attack and then move the left stick on the other controller to get Kiryu back up and then perform the attack again. Repeat that until Rage runs out and then start over with the next token. This does not need to be done in the same match.

Have 12 original characters researched

This will be earned when you’ve unlocked all 12 of the original characters. You’ll need to complete Rumors and Research Projects in order to unlock all of the characters. You can keep track of your Rumors and Research Projects in the G-Force Lab.

A Score of Locations

Have 20 original locations researched

There are more than 20 locations to unlock. Location rumors will be added to your Rumors in the G-Force Lab. You’ll need to fulfill the rumor objectives and then the rumor will become a Research Project. Then, you need to earn enough project XP to complete the Research Project. Once the location Research Project has been completed, the location will then be unlocked.

Pipeworks Superfan

Collect 40 gallery items

The gallery items that you have can be viewed in the G-Force Lab > Sightings. You will need to unlock 40 of these in order to earn all of the trophies associated with gallery items. Some of the items will be unlocked as you play through Adventure and complete other Research Projects. However, the majority of them will be unlocked via hidden gallery tokens. These tokens are random drops that will spawn when buildings are destroyed. You’ll want to keep an eye out for these as you play through the rest of the game and unlock other trophies. I don’t know if I had tough luck, but these are apparently rare in my game. My method to track these down has been through Custom matches. Set up a Custom match with three monsters. When the fight starts, get away from the other two. Let them fight each other. While they’re fighting, go through and destroy as many buildings as you can searching for these. They are red coins that spawn when a building is destroyed. You can also use a second controller. Just let the other character sit idle while you destroy the city looking for these.
