Welcome to the Destiny 2: The Pale Heart Region Chests Guide!
The Region Chests for The Pale Heart will not become available until you have progressed deep into the campaign of The Final Shape. They will become available as you complete the Destined Heroes quest. This is an exotic quest, but it is required to advance The Final Shape’s campaign.
There are only 9 of them to open.
Final Shape Feathers
The Landing
Chest #1 – This is found to the south west corner of the region. As you approach the area, there will be a waterfall ahead of you as well as a building sticking out of the wall. Stand on the raised cliff across from the wall with the building. There will be a feather on a small ledge on the opposite wall. Jump to the ledge with the feather. From here, look up and you should see a gap between the wall and the tree. You can jump up into this gap to get a little higher. It’s a little tricky to get up as you may slide down. Once you reach that second ledge, look up at the building. The floor of the building above you is open. Jump up from the second ledge and into the building. Once inside, go straight back to find this chest in the very back.
Chest #2 – This is found in the middle of the region to the east. Head east until you come to a bronze statue in water. Look over to the stone wall to the right of the statue and you’ll see a small hole in the wall. Go through that hole. Keep going through there until you find a big gap. Look down in the gap. There will be ledges you can drop down onto. This chest will be in a cave down in this gap. Just keep landing on the ledges and you’ll reach it.
Chest #3 – This is found just a bit east from Chest #2. You’ll come to a bridge with overgrown vines that lead to a round platform. Look down below that bridge and you should see some ledges you can jump down to. Drop down and then look over that the waterfall. While looking at the waterfall nearest you, jump out and then jump again toward it. This chest is on a hidden ledge behind that waterfall.
The Blooming
Chest #1 – From the fast travel point, head straight west until you see a raised outcropping up against the stone wall with a tree on it. Jump up onto this raised outcropping and the chest is found in the back against the big stone wall.
Chest #2 – This is found at the top of the big tree near Chest #1. Jump up the trunk all the way to the top. It’s a little tricky at the top, but you can land on the chest itself and then open it.
Chest #3 – From Chest #2, look down and to the east. You should see a cave opening nearby. Enter that cave and there will be purple crystals inside. Go through that and then head straight back once you exit the other side. There will be a ledge in the wall straight ahead to can jump to. From there, jump up and to the right to find this chest.
The Impasse
Chest #1 – From the fast travel point, go east until you come to some temple like ruins. You can jump up onto pillars outside of the ruins in order to make your way up to the roof where this chest can be found.
Chest #2 – From the fast travel point, look south west and down. You should see a big squared hole in the ground. There are ledges you can jump to down in that hole. This chest is found on a ledge inside of that hole.
Chest #3 – This is found to the south near the Lost Sector. Go behind the stone pillar with a pink light and the Lost Sector symbol painted on it. There will be a path way that heads up into a canyon. Once you enter it, look up to the left. There will be a small cave in the rock wall just above you. Jump up to it and enter the small cave to find this chest.
