Welcome to the Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake Collectible Guide!
The first page of this guide will be all of the mini medals, scrolls Zalen quest steps and Erdrick gear found in Dragon Quest I. The second page will cover all of the mini medals found in Dragon Quest II.
Everything listed here is in the order of where the story will take you. It’s not strictly story locations only, though. Some locations will require you to explore around the region you are currently in. But the map is not that big and these are not too difficult to track down.
After collecting all of the medals, you’ll need to turn them all in to the Monarch of Medals. He is found in the southwestern section of the map in the Citadel of the Monarch of the Medals.
Dragon Quest I
Mini Medal 1 – This is found inside of a nightstand next to a bed inside of Roadside Inn. The Inn is found southwest of Erdrick’s Hollow.
Mini Medal 2 – This is found inside of a pot in the secret area that is found southwest of Erdrick’s Hollow and northwest of Roadside Inn. It is along the western coastline.
Mini Medal 3 – This is found in a pot on the pier on the western side of Galenholm. Glaenholm is found in the northwestern most corner of the map.
Safe Passage Scroll – This is found on the bookshelf in the house in the bottom left of Galenholm.
Sandstorm Scroll – This is found in a chest in the center of Erdrick’s Hollow – B1.
Mini Medal 4 – This medal is found in a chest in the bottom left corner of Erdrick’s Hollow – B2.
Mini Medal 5 – This medal is found inside of a barrel in the bottom right corner of the Forgotten Ruins. You can find the ruins just south of the bridge you cross that is east of Wayfarer’s Chapel.
Zalen’s Quest – While at the Forgotten Ruins, speak with Zalen to begin the side quest.
Mini Medal 6 – This is found inside of a pot on the second floor of the shop in Kol.
Mini Medal 7 – This is found inside of a pot in the top left corner of Kol. It is on the right side of the poison puddle.
Mini Medal 8 – This is found inside of a pot inside of the Shrine of Rain – 1F. It is in the western corner next to the descending stairs.
Crack Scroll – This is found in a chest in the eastern corner of Shrine of Rain – 1F.
Zalen’s Quest – Enter the Nameless Ruins and speak to Zalen here to advance the quest.
Mini Medal 9 – This medal is found inside of a chest in the middle of Craggy Cave – B1.
Nose for Treasure Scroll – This scroll is found inside of the chest that is on the upper east side of Craggy Cave – B1.
Muster Strength Scroll – This scroll is found in a chest in Craggy Cave – B2. You can access this chest by going down the stairs in the top left corner of Craggy Cave – B1.
Crackle Scroll – This scroll is found inside of a chest in the building on the west side of Faerie Village. Faerie Village is found southeast of Craggy Cave.
Snub Scroll – This scroll is found on the bookshelf on the right side of the room in the same building as the previous scroll in Faerie Village.
Mini Medal 10 – This medal is found inside of a barrel in the top right building in Faerie Village.
Before advancing the story, we now have the Thieves’ Key. We’re gonna clean up some other areas with red locked doors with mini medals.
Mini Medal 11 – This medal is found inside if a wardrobe in the room with the red door inside of Wayfarer’s Chapel
Mini Medal 12 – This medal is found in a pot in the Grave of Galen – B1. The pot is in a short dead end path slightly northwest from where you entered the dungeon. The Grave of Galen is in Galenholm. You can can access it by going through the building on the north side of town with the red door.
Whistle Scroll – This scroll is found in a chest in the Grave of Galen – B1. It is the left most chest in a line of three in the north room.
Mini Medal 13 – This medal is found inside of a pot in Tantegel Castle – 2F – Secret Room. Enter Tantegel Castle and follow the hallway on the west side of the room. It will go north and then take you to the east of the area. Once on the east side, head south until you come to a stair case that you can take up to access the secret room.
From here, we will continue with the story.
Mini Medal 14 – This is found inside of a barrel in the top right corner of Quagmire Cave – B1.
Mini Medal 15 – This is found inside of a nightstand at the end of a bed inside of the building on the north side of Rimuldar.
Magic Barrier Scroll – This scroll is found inside of a chest in the building in the northwest corner of Rimuldar. You will need to go here as part of the story.
Miracle Slash Scroll – This scroll is found inside of a chest in the top right corner of Cave of the Dwarves – B1. In order to reach it, take the staircase on the on the east side of B1. Then, you’ll be in a small area with 2 other possible exits. For this, you need to take the north stairs. This will take you to the chest.
Mini Medal 16 – This medal is found inside of a chest on the western side of Cave of Dwarves – B2. In order to reach it, take the staircase on the on the east side of B1. Then, you’ll be in a small area with 2 other possible exits. For this, take the left exit. In the next area, take the left side exit again.
Undead Undoer Scroll – This scroll is found in a chest in the north area of Cave of the Dwarves – B2. In order to reach it, take the staircase on the on the east side of B1. Then, you’ll be in a small area with 2 other possible exits. For this, take the left exit. In the next area, take the left side exit again (same area as Mini Medal 16). From there, take the north exit. The next room will only have one other exit, so take it and you’ll reach the north area.
Mini Medal 17 – This medal is found inside of a pot on the lower right side of Damdara. Damdara is found south of Faerie Village in the desert up against the mountains.
Padfoot Scroll – This is scroll is hidden on the ground next to a round table just above the poison pool on the top right in Damdara.
Mini Medal 18 / Demon Demeaner Scroll – Both of these are found inside of the building you can enter in Damdara. The scroll is in the barrel in the top left and the medal is in the pot on the top right.
Mini Medal 19 – This is found inside of the secret spot that is southwest of Damdara. It is in the patch of forest that is south of the desert up against the mountains. The medal is hidden on the ground to the right of the bandit NPC. It is almost between the trees in the middle of the area.
Reheal Scroll – This is scroll is found in the red chest on the left side of the Citadel of the Monarch of Medals. This location is found southeast from the Field of Flowers.
After getting the Magic Key as part of the story, we’ll now be able to open blue chests and blue doors.
Zalen’s Quest – Stop by Damdara again and speak to Zalen here to advance the quest.
Mini Medal 20 – This is found in a nightstand next to the bed behind the NPC that gives you the sun stone in Tantegel. Go through Tantegel Castle and exit to the backside of the castle. Then, follow the area to the south to some stairs. Take the stairs down and then speak with the NPC in the room. Afterwards, you can grab the medal from the drawer.
Mini Medal 21 – This is found inside of Sanctum. Sanctum is located south of the Cave of the Dwarves. Once you enter, go to the back of the building in front of the big window in the center and interact with the ground to find this hidden mini medal.
Mini Medal 22 – This is found in a chest in Quagmire Cave – B2. You can reach this floor by going through the blue door in Quagmire Cave. The chest is in the top left part of the floor.
Mini Medal 23 – This medal is found in the chest on the east side of Weirdwood after the illusion has been lifted as part of the story.
Focus Pocus Scroll – This scroll is found in the chest that is in the middle of the second part of Weirdwood.
To avoid having to go back through Weirdwood, exit to the north and head east to Wayfarer’s Inn to get it marked on your map so that you can fast travel here to continue the story after turning in the Undying Flame to Faerie Village.
Mini Medal #24 – This is found down the well in Wayfarer’s Inn. It is hidden on the ground in the center of the rock formation toward the bottom of the area.
Moreheal Scroll – This scroll is found on the second bookshelf to the right in the house on the west side of town in the middle of Cantlin. It is in the top left room on the second floor.
Attack Attacker Scroll – This scroll is found in the wardrobe on the left side of the room on the right of the second floor in the same building as the Moreheal Scroll.
Mini Medal 25 – This medal is found hidden in the ground up against the right gravestone in the middle east side of Cantlin.
Mini Medal 26 – This medal is found in the red chest in the secret spot south of Weeping Isle. This spot is in the middle of the winding desert path on the way to Weeping Isle.
Mini Medal 27 – This medal is found in a chest in the top left corner of the map in Weeping Isle – L1.
Mini Medal 28 – This medal is found in a chest in the bottom right corner of Weeping Isle – L2.
Kacrack Scroll – Make your way through the Weeping Isle until you are in an outside area (Weeping Isle – Exterior). In that area, take the first door on the left. Continue following the path and you’ll make it back outside again. This scroll is found in the red chest at the end of the next exterior pathway.
After getting the Ultimate Key as part of the story, there are a few areas we can now clean up for some collectibles.
Mini Medal 29 – This medal is found in a pot in the cell on the second floor of the church in Tantegel. The Ultimate Key can open the cell.
Snoop Scroll – This is found in Tantegel Castle – 1F in the middle left room. There are four chests behind a locked door that can be opened with the Ultimate Key.
Mini Medal 30 – This is found in the middle locked chest on the left side of the room in the CItadel of the Monarch of Medals.
Mini Medal 31 – This is found in the chest on the west side of Cave of the Dwarves – B1 behind the locked door.
Mini Medal 32 – This is found in the chest in the house on the top right side of Cantlin. It is on the second floor.
Erdrick’s Shield – This is found in a chest in the same exact spot where the Kacrack Scroll was found (Weeping Isle – Exterior). You now have the key to open the chest.
Zalen’s Quest – Enter Cantlin and speak to Zalen here to advance the quest. He is on the bridge in the southern part of town.
Kacrackle Slash Scroll – This is found in a chest in the top left corner of Grave of Galen – B3. Take the stairs in the bottom right corner on B2.
Mini Medal 33 – This is a hidden medal in front of the big statue on Grave of Galen – B3. Take the stairs in the bottom left corner on B2.
Zalen’s Quest – Enter Galenholm and speak to Zalen here to advance the quest. He is on the beach on the southeast part of town.
Mini Medal 34 – This is in a barrel behind the staircase that you enter the floor from in Shrine of Rain – 3F.
Mini Medal 35 – This medal is found in the chest in the center of Shrine of Rain – 5F. It is on the west side of the middle platform. You can grab this one after the boss fight and following cutscenes.
After the events at the Shrine of Rain, there are 2 new secret spots to find that have Mini Medals.
Mini Medal 36 – This mini medal is found in the new secret spot that is northwest from Faerie Village. It is in the forest just before the mountain range. It is inside of a barrel in the secret spot.
Mini Medal 37 – This mini medal is found in the new secret spot that is southeast from Damdara. You’ll need to cross the bridge that is southeast from Damdara as well in order to reach it. It is in the forest just north of the other side of that bridge. In the secret spot, the medal can be found in the bag hanging from the tree.
Mini Medal 38 – This medal is hidden in the ground in the Shrine of the Spirit – 1F. It is in the top left corner of the floor.
Mark of Erdrick – This will be automatically earned by beating Armageddon in the Shrine of the Spirit as part of the story.
Zalen Quest – Travel to the Field of Flowers and speak with the Faerie.
Travel to the Shrine of Rain and speak with the Dream-Whisperer. She will transport you to the Western Isle.
Erdrick’s Helm – This will be right in front of you as soon as you regain control on Western Isle.
Mini Medal 39 – This medal is hidden on the ground at the end of the northern pier on Western Isle.
Zalen Quest – After leaving Western Isle, travel to Rimuldar and speak with Zalen to complete his side quest.
Erdrick’s Armor – This is earned by beating the knight aberrant in Damdara. He can be found over on the eastern middle area of Damdara. After the fight, interact with the sparkling tree to receive the armor.
Mini Medal 40 – Go behind the throne in Dragonlord’s Castle – 1F and interact with the back of it to reveal a new staircase. Go down it and make your way to B4. Once there, go down the staircase in the middle of the area to go down to B5. From there, go north to the chest where the final medal can be found.
Erdrick’s Sword – From Dragonlord’s Castle – B4, take the middle left staircase up to B3 where you’ll be in the center area of the floor. Head to the next staircase on this center area. Follow the path to B1 and the sword will be sticking out of the ground on the path.
Dealing with the Devil – When speaking to Dragonlord, he will offer you the chance to join him. In order to earn this Trophy, you’ll need to say, “Yes,” when he offers you the chance. Don’t worry. You aren’t choosing a bad or wrong ending. It will just turn out to be a dream and you will wake up. You can then return and fight him to finish the game.
Turn in all of your medals to the Monarch of Medals in the Citadel of the Monarch of Medals.
Wild Side Scroll – Turn in 10 medals to Monarch of Medals.
Meditation Scroll – Turn in 35 medals to the Monarch of Medals.
Dragon Quest II ->
Dragon Quest II
Mini Medal 1 – This is found in the top left room in Midenhall Castle – 1F. It is hidden in front of the statue on the left side of the altar at the top of the room.
Mini Medal 2 – This is found inside of a chest in the construction site on the east side of town in Midenhall.
Mini Medal 3 – This is found in the secret spot that is west of Midenhall. It is just west of the small poison pond near the coastline. The medal is found inside of a bag hanging from a tree in the secret spot.
Mini Medal 4 – This medal is hidden on the ground of the second floor of the weapon vendor in Leftwyne. As you come up the stairs, go straight south across from the stairs to find this in front of some flowers.
Mini Medal 5 – This medal is found in the secret spot that is in the desert southwest of Cannock. It is in the barrel inside of the secret spot.
Mini Medal 6 – This medal is found in the wardrobe inside of the bottom right building in Cannock.
Mini Medal 7 – This medal is found in the barrel in Cannock Castle – B1 near the jail cells.
Crack Scroll – This scroll is found inside of the wardrobe on the right in the northern circular room in Cannock Castle – 1F.
Mini Medal 8 – This is found in a barrel inside of the secret spot that is southwest of Gwaelin’s Gate. It is in the desert on the back side of the mountain southwest of Gwaelin’s Gate.
Mini Medal 9 – This medal is found in a pot in the top left corner of Cave of the Lake – B2.
Mini Medal 10 – This medal is found in the barrel in the center of Gwaelin’s Gate – Underground Passage.
Tombola Tickets – This is found in the shiny spot that is south of where you exit Gwaelin’s Gate – Underground Passage.
Tombola Tickets – This is in a barrel near the center of the secret spot that is southwest from the previous ticket.
Propeller Blade Scroll – This is found in the shiny spot that is southeast from the previous secret area. This is near the mountain range to the south.
Mini Medal 11 – This is found in the barrel on the northern wall of Moonahan next to the church.
Tombola Tickets – These are found in the barrel inside of the item vendor building in Moonahan.
Tombola Tickets – These are found in the bag hanging from the wall at the Inn in Moonahan.
Tombola Ticket – This is hidden on a chair next to a round table near the center flowerbed in Moonahan.
While you’re in Moonahan, make a manual save at the church. Then, go over to the Tombola tent and use the tickets we’ve picked up to try and win the ultimate prize. Doing so will earn the “Felicitations, Friend!” Trophy. If you don’t get the prize, you can just reload the manual save and try again until you win it. The ultimate prize are the Golden Claws. These are a strong weapon, but they increase random battles. That can be annoying, but it will actually help with knocking out the Trophy for beating 1,500 monsters. Which will also help with leveling up to learn every spell/ability.
Mini Medal 12 – This medal is hidden on the ground in the northern circular section of Moonbroke Castle – 1F. It’s in the center.
Undead Undoer Scroll – This is found in a chest in the square room to the right of the mini medal 12 in Moonbroke Castle – 1F.
Mini Medal 13 – This is found in the secret spot that is on the peninsula south of Swamp Shrine. It is in the chest.
Frizz Scroll – This is found in Swamp Shrine on the west side in the poison.
Crackle Scroll – Now that you have the thief’s key, go to Midenhall Castle. On 1F, go over to the locked door on the east side and open it. Go down the stairs and head down into the jail cells where you can find this scroll in the barrel.
Mini Medal 14 – While in Midenhall Castle – 1F, take the warp pad on the west side of the floor. This will take you to Shipwright’s Shrine. Once there, exit the building and go behind it to find the chest that has this medal in it.
Defizzle Scroll – Unlock the gate in Moonahan and go down the stairs. Take the next stairs up and you’ll be on the island in the top left corner of town. This scroll is in the chest on that island.
Mini Medal 15 – This is found in a pot in Pillar of the Winds – 2F. The pot is in the center right room to the north side.
Wind Sickles Scroll – This is found in the chest on the northeast side of Pillar of the Winds – 5F.
Zin Scroll – This scroll is found in the chest in Pillar of the Winds – 7F. On 6F, take the southern staircase.
Mini Medal 16 – This medal is found in the barrel in the southeast section of Pillar of the Winds – 7F. On 6F, take the eastern staircase.
Mini Medal 17 – This medal is found in the pot next to the staircase in Shrine West of Moonbrooke after going through the gate as part of the story.
Mini Medal 18 – This medal is hidden on the ground in front of two big rocks on the left side of Oasis. Oasis is found in the desert west of where you came out of Shrine West of Moonbrooke.
Mini Medal 19 – This is medal is hidden on the ground in the center of Dragon’s Horns (South) – 6F.
Celestial Skein – This is found in the shiny spot on the north side of Dragon’s Horns (North) – 3F.
Soothing Song Scroll – This scroll is found in the chest in Dragon’s Horns (North) – 5F. In order to reach it, take the outer ring stairs on the west side of 3F.
Mini Medal 20 – This is medal is hidden on the ground in the center of Dragon’s Horns (North) – 6F.
Mini Medal 21 – This medal is found in a nightstand next to the beds on the right side of the Inn in Rippleport.
Crackle Scroll – This is found on the bookshelf inside of the small house in the Port of Rippleport. The port is the big building on the north side of town in Rippleport.
After gaining access to the boat, new areas are available to explore. So, let’s clean up some collectibles and get some locations added to the map for quick travel later on.
Mini Medal 22 – This is found in a pot in a secret spot in the ocean. It is south of Rippleport.
Mini Medal 23 – This is found on the pier inside of the big building on the north side of Galenholm. It is in a chest.
Bang Scroll – This is found on the bookshelf on the left on the second floor of the building to the north on the right side of town in Tantegel.
Mini Medal 24 – This is found in a pot in the room with beds in the bottom right corner of Tantegel Castle – 2F. Take the stairs on the east side of Tantegel Castle 1F to reach it.
Kaclang Scroll / Buff Scroll – These are found across from each other in two chests in Erdrick’s Hollow – B2 at the north end.
Mini Medal 25 – This is found behind the big statue at the end of Erdrick’s Hollow – B2. It’s hidden, so just walk around up against the back of the statue until you see the interact prompt.
Mini Medal 26 – This medal is hidden on the ground down the well in Kol. It is on the right side of the cave.
Puff-Puff Scroll – This scroll is found in the pot in the Inn on the north side of Kol.
Mini Medal 27 – This is found in a pot inside of the secret area on the continent north of the Shrine of Rain. The secret spot is in the forest on the west side of the mountains.
Mini Medal 28 – This medal is found in a pot in the church in Rimuldar.
Sap Scroll – This scroll is found inside of the barrel in the house on the top left side of Rimuldar.
Mini Medal 29 – This medal is hidden on the ground in the top left corner of Dragonlord’s Castle – 1F. It is on the middle square tile in the corner of the room.
Assassin’s Stab Scroll / Kasap Scroll – These scrolls are both found in chests sitting right next to each other in the top left corner of Dragonlord’s Castle – B6.
Faded Blade – You’ll be given the faded blade from Dragonlord’s Great-Grandson after the conversations with him.
Demon Demeaner Scroll – This scroll is found in the barrel near the center of Damdara. It is next to a blue chest.
Mini Medal 30 – This medal is found hidden on the ground near the palm tree in the secret spot that is just east of Damdara.
Mini Medal 31 – This medal is hidden on the ground on the red carpet between the candle stands in the top left building of Cantlin.
Mini Medal 32 – From Cantlin, sail over to Sanctum. It is on the island east of Cantlin. If your ship isn’t docked nearby, just Zoom to Cantlin and it will be nearby. This medal is hidden on the ground in the top left side of the fountain inside of Sanctum.
Kabuff Scroll – This is found in the chest on the west side of Shrine of Rain – 3F.
Mini Medal 33 – This is found in a pot on the west side of Shrine of Rain – 5F. It is on the middle section of the west side.
Reheal Scroll – This is found in a chest on the top left area of the center platform in Shrine of Rain – 5F.
Mini Medal 34 – This medal is hidden on the ground in front of the statue on the east side of Isle of the Monarch of Medals.
Mini Medal 35 – This medal is hidden on the ground on the southwest side of Isle of the Monarch of Medals. It is on a small circular area just off of the path.
Mini Medal 36 – This medal is hidden on the ground on the beach on the west side of Isle of the Monarch of Medals. There is a ladder you can climb down to reach the beach. This medal is slightly southwest of that ladder.
Mini Medal 37 – This medal is hidden on on the ground in front of the fountain on the bridge on the way to the entrance of the building on Isle of the Monarch of Medals.
Mini Medal 38 – This medal is in the bag hanging from the tree on the east side of the building on the Isle of the Monarch of Medals.
Multislice Scroll – This scroll is found in a chest in Lighthouse – 5F.
Mini Medal 39 – This medal is hidden on the ground in between the two statues on the south side of Lighthouse – 7F.
Mini Medal 40 – This medal is found on the bookshelf in the house in the top left corner of Beran.
Mini Medal 41 – This medal is found in a chest in the bottom right corner of Yggdrasil’s Arbour.
Bazoom Scroll – This scroll is found in a shiny spot on a small island that is east of Beran.
Boom Scroll – This scroll is found on the bookshelf inside of the building that is in the top left corner in Burrowell – B1.
Mini Medal 42 – This medal is found inside of the pot in the secret area that is north of Burrowell. It is in the desert.
Mini Medal 43 – This medal is found inside of the pot that is in the poison pool area in the top left corner of Zahan.
Mini Medal 44 – This medal is found inside of a pot in the secret spot on the island south of Midenhall. It is on the eastern side of the island near the coastline.
Mini Medal 45 – This medal is found inside of a secret spot in the ocean south of the Shrine South of Midenhall. It is hidden up against a big rock on the east side of the area slightly in the middle.
Service Call Scroll / Muster Strength Scroll – Both of these scrolls are found on the two bookshelves next to each other in Dirkandor Castle – Passage. You can reach this area by taking the middle warp pad at the Shrine of Flames.
Miracle Slash Scroll / Insulate Scroll – Both of these scrolls are found in the red chests in the top left room of Faerie Palace – 1F.
Mini Medal 46 – This medal is hidden on the ground at the end of the left side path in Faerie Palace – 3F. It’s in the middle of the path at the end.
Mini Medal 47 – This medal is in a pot in the southwest section of Mersea – Royal Square. The pot is kind of hidden behind a pillar that is in the way.
Once you get the Magic Key in Faerie Palace, we can do some exploring to clean up some more collectibles.
Dog Suit 1 – This is found in a blue chest on the northwest side of Faerie Palace – 1F.
Hawkeye Claw Scroll – This is found in the room with several chests in the bottom right corner of Midenhall Castle – 1F. It is in a chest.
Bounce Scroll – This scroll is found in the blue chest in Moonbrooke Castle – B1.
Cat Suit 1 – This is found in a wardrobe in the room with the locked door in the big port building in Galenholm.
Mini Medal 48 – This is found in a bag hanging from the wall in the room with the blue door in the Inn at Tantegel.
Snub Scroll – This is found in the blue chest at the Inn in Rimuldar.
Cat Suit 2 – This can be won at the Tombola game in Rimuldar.
Mini Medal 49 – This medal is found in the blue chest in Dragonlord’s Castle – B6.
Mini Medal 50 – This medal is found inside of a blue chest in the secret spot on the small island west of Moonahan.
Lightning Scroll – This scroll is found in the blue chest on the right in the Manor of the Monarch of Medals.
Dragon Slash Scroll – This is found in the red chest on the north side of Quagmire Cave – B2. You’ll need to go through the locked gate on the first floor in order to reach this chest.
Fast travel to the Deserted Village and then enter the building on the west side of town with the lock. Go down the stairs in the building to enter the Thieves Den. After the boss fight there, you’ll get the misplaced key.
Padfoot Scroll – This scroll is found in a barrel in the northeast corner of the Den of Thieves.
Steal Sickle Scroll – This is in the chest in the north west side of Den of Thieves.
Mini Medal 51 – This medal is hidden on the ground in front of the big dress in the southwest corner of Den if Inquity – B1. Take the western stairs on the first floor to reach the medal.
Kacrack Scroll – This scroll is found in the chest in the North room of Den of Inquity – B1. Take the western stairs on the first floor to reach the medal.
Mini Medal 52 – This is found in a barrel in the secret spot that is in the desert southwest of Slewse.
Snoop Scroll – This scroll is found in a bag hanging from a tree in a secret spot that is east of Slewse.
Egg On Scroll – This scroll is found on the bookshelf in the house in the center of town in Slewse.
Mini Medal 53 – This medal is found in the cabinet in the house that is in the middle of town to the north.
Mini Medal 54 – This medal is found in the right chest on the west side of Shrine East of Slewse.
Kacrackle Slash Scroll – This scroll is found in the right chest on the east side of Shrine East of Slewse.
Harvest Moon Scroll – This scroll is found in the chest on the north side of Tower of the Moon – 2F. You can take the south side stairs on the first floor to reach this.
Mini Medal 55 – This medal is found hidden on the ground to left of the stairs that head up to the 4th floor on Tower of the Moon – 3F.
Hypnowhip Scroll – This scroll is found in the chest on the right in the bottom left corner of Tower of the Moon – 4F.
Spooky Aura Scroll – This scroll is in the chest on Tower of the Moon – 6F after the boss battle.
Mini Medal 56 – This medal is found in the chest on Volcanic Grotto – B3. You can reach this floor by going down the bottom right stairs on Volcanic Grotto – B2.
Focus Pocus Scroll – From the previous mini medal, go down the nearby stairs to find this scroll in the chest on Volcanic Grotto – B4 in the southeast corner. Use Safe Passage to walk over the floor to reach it.
Mini Medal 57 – This medal is found in the chest on the east side (toward the bottom) of Sunken Ship – B1.
Sword Dance Scroll – This scroll is found in the chest on the left side of the western room in Western Seabed Storeroom. This area is accessible by going underwater with your ship next to a small island southeast of the Shrine West of Moonbroke. Also, that small island can be used to farm metal slimes.
Mini Medal 58 – This medal is found in the chest on the right side of the eastern room in Western Seabed Storeroom.
Mini Medal 59 – This medal is found deeper underwater in the Northern Sea Lord’s Lair. This location is south of Faerie Palace. The medal is hidden on the ground on the eastern side of the map in a corner against a pile of gold coins. It is behind a bog rock formation that also has gold coins in front of it.
Mini Medal 60 – This medal is found in the chest on the northeast corner of Eastern Sea Lord’s Lair. This is located deeper in the water east from the Shrine South of Midenhall.
Mini Medal 61 – This medal is found in the chest behind the boss in Southern Sea Lord’s Lair. This location is deep underwater southwest from the Shrine of Flames.
Kacrackle Scroll – This scroll is found in the blue chest on the west side of Passage to Rendarak – L3.
Mini Medal 62 – While in Passage to Rendarak – L5, step on one of the cracked areas on the ground to fall down to L4. On L4, it is found the northwest corner of the area.
Mini Medal 63 – When you reach the second area that has no map (there will be a 1 on 1 fight with a mini boss here), go east from the starting room. In the next room, go up the small stairs and head west. At the next intersection in the same room, go east until you come to the chest with the medal in it.
Mini Medal 64 – This medal is in a pot at the base of a tree in the secret spot north of Rendarak’s Shrine.
Mini Medal 65 – This medal is in the chest inside of Shivering Shrine.
Dog Suit 2 – This is found in the blue chest in the secret spot that is slightly southwest of the Hall of Hargon.
After getting the Ultimate Key, it’s time to clean up some collectibles from around the map before heading into the end of the game.
Metal Slash Scroll – This is found in the chest at the bottom of the well in Midenhall.
Kafrizz Scroll – This scroll is found in the chest on the west side of Craggy Cave – B2.
Mini Medal 66 – This medal is found in the chest on the south side of Dragonlord’s Castle – B5.
Mini Medal 67 – This medal is found in the chest in the Shrine North of Beran.
Mini Medal 68 – This medal is found inside of the building in the eastern corner of Burrowell. It is in the cell on the left in a chest inside of that building.
Mini Medal 69 – This medal is found hidden on the hay stack in the left gated room in Dirkandor Castle.
Mini Medal 70 – This medal is found in a barrel on the northwest dead end in Grave of Galen – B3. You can reach this section by taking the stairs on the southeast side of B2.
Kerplunk Dance Scroll – This scroll is found in the left chest in the middle west section of Grave of Galen – B2. You can reach this section by taking the stairs on the southwest side of B2.
Mini Medal 71 – This medal is found in the right chest on the west side of Northern Seabed Storeroom.
Kaboom Scroll – This scroll is found in the left chest of the east side of Northern Seabed Storeroom.
Wild Side Scroll – This scroll is found in the left chest of the middle area of Northern Seabed Storeroom.
Mini Medal 72 – This medal is found in the chest on the east side of Hall of Hargon – 2F.
Save your game after the credits. Load it back up and we’ll finish these collectibles off. Head to the Ghost Ship. If you haven’t been to it yet, it can be found sailing underwater. The location changes. If you’ve been to it, you can fast travel to it.
Erdrick’s Sword Quest – Go to Kol and speak with the NPC next to the counter on the second floor of the armor shop.
Erdrick’s Sword Quest – Speak with the NPC on the second floor of the building in the middle/west side of Cantlin. He is in the room on the left on the second floor.
Erdrick’s Sword Quest – Speak to the NPC in the jail cell on the second floor of the church in Tantegel.
Erdrick’s Sword Quest – Head to Craggy Cave and take the stairs in the southeast corner of B1. Interact with the shiny spot next to the stairs you used to enter B2 to pick up the Orichalcum.
Erdrick’s Sword Quest – Return to Kol and speak with the armor vendor NPC one more time. You’ll be given the sword. After this, go and speak with the Dragonlord’s Great-Grandson to set up getting an upgraded version of the sword.
Living Memory 1 – This is found underwater east of the Lighthouse.
Living Memory 2 – This is found underwater south of the Monarch of Medals and slightly northwest of Shrine North of Beran.
Living Memory 3 – This is found deeper underwater west of Burrowell.
Living Memory 4 – This is found deeper underwater west of Shrine South of Midenhall.
Living Memory 5 – This is found in the Northern Sealord’s Lair.
Living Memory 6 – This is found in the Southern Sealord’s Lair.
Ripple of Disruption Scroll – This is automatically acquired by beating the boss on the Ghost Ship.
Living Memory 7 – This will be in the area where you fight the boss on the Ghost Ship.
Once you have all seven living memories, speak to the Record-Keeper at Faerie Palace. Cave of Dwarves will be added to your map. Then, speak to the faerie near the entrance to Faerie Palace and a warp pad will now be active. It will take you to Cloudsgate Citadel.
Multiheal Scroll – This scroll will be given to you automatically by Record-Keeper in Faerie Palace – 2F once you have spoken to her after collecting all seven living memories.
Mini Medal 73 – This medal is found in the nightstand next to the bed in the top right room in Cloudsgate Citadel.
Metal Slash Scroll – This scroll is found in the left bookshelf in the top right room in Cloudsgate Citadel.
Mini Medal 74 – This medal is found in the chest on the north side of Citadel Tower – 4F.
Xenlong can be fought at the top of Citadel Tower – 6F. In order to get a wish, you will need to beat Xenlong in a certain number of turns. Your first wish is available by beating him in under 35 turns. Your second wish is available by beating him in under 25 turns. Your third, and every wish after this, is available by beating him in under 15 turns.
Critical Claim Scroll – Choose the “Learn a Damage-Dealing Ability” option after beating Xenlong. There is another one of theses scrolls later on that can be found.
Channel Anger Scroll – Choose the “Learn a Magic-Magnifying Ability” option after beating Xenlong.
Power Puff-Puff Scroll – Choose the “Learn the Secrets of Puff-Puff” option after beating Xenlong.
Mini Medal 75 – This medal is found in the chest in the middle of Cave of Dwarves – B1.
Fog of War Scroll – This scroll is found in the chest in the northwest room of Cave of Dwarves – B3.
Mini Medal 76 – This medal is found in the chest in the northeast corner of Caves of Dwarves – B4.
Puff-Puff Scroll – This is found in the chest on the north side of the 5th dungeon (Cave of the Lake) room in Cave of Confusion.
Bazoom Scroll – This is found in the chest on the west side of the 7th dungeon (Dragonlord’s Castle B5) room in Cave of Confusion.
Mini Medal 77 – This medal is found inside of the barrel on the south side of the 8th dungeon (Galen’s Grave) room in Cave of Confusion.
Spooky Aura Scroll – This scroll is found in the center chest on the 10th dungeon (Quagmire Cave) room in Cave of Confusion.
Mini Medal 78 – This medal is hidden on the ground in the middle of the square room in the south side of the 12th dungeon (Craggy Cave) room in Cave of Confusion.
Mini Medal 79 – This medal is found in the pot on the bottom left square room on the 20th dungeon (Gaia’s Navel B1 – DQIII) room in Cave of Confusion.
Mini Medal 80 – This medal is in a barrel that is one room over to the left of where you enter the floor. It is in the 23rd dungeon (Kidnapper’s Cave – DQIII) room in Cave of Confusion.
Critical Claim Scroll – This scroll is hidden on the ground in front of the debris pile in the bottom left corner of the locked room in the 25th dungeon (Dreamer’s Tower B1 – DQIII) room in Cave of Confusion.
At the end of the Cave of Confusion, you’ll be given the Sphere of Light. Heal up and go speak with Dragonlord’s Great-Grandson to battle him. After the battle, he’ll give you Erdrick’s Supreme Sword.
Travel to the Maharaja of Medals and turn in your medals.
Frizzle Scroll – Reward for turning in 15 medals to the Maharaja of Medals.
Focus Pocus Scroll – Reward for turning in 40 medals to the Maharaja of Medals.
True Ending – Once you have Erdrick’s Supreme Sword, equip it and battle Hargon and Malroth while using it as an item to unlock the true ending.
