Welcome to the Golf Club: Wasteland Trophy & Achievement guide! The majority of this list is fairly quick and simple to earn. There are many miscellaneous Trophies/Achievements to pick up here that shouldn’t cause too much trouble. If you miss anything, don’t worry. There is level select, so you can go back at any time and clean up whatever you may have missed.
For the miscellaneous Trophies and Achievements, I would recommend knocking these out in Story mode. Story mode will allow you to play and take as many strokes as you need to finish the level. These can be done in Challenge mode, but you will be limited on strokes. If you wanted to do it in Challenge mode, you could just reset the level after getting whatever Trophy/Achievement you’re going after.
It will take at the very least two playthroughs. You’ll be required to beat Iron mode, but that is not available until after you’ve beaten Challenge mode. There are only 34 holes and they go by quickly, so adding a playthrough on story mode for the miscellaneous Trophies and Achievements won’t be that much of a grind.
I am Iron Man
If going for the Platinum/100% a playthrough on Iron mode will be required. Just like with Challenge mode, you’ll need to beat the levels under par in order to move on. However, if you go over par, your game will reset. You will need to start all the way over at the first level. You will also fail if your ball lands in a water or waste hazard. Unlike with the other modes, you can not reset the level you’re on from the pause menu.
Would you like some cheese?
If you’re struggling with Iron mode, or just don’t want to deal with it, there is a solution. Yes, you can back up your save file, redownload it and try again if you fail.

Ryder Cup
1st Par
The game is on!
In order to score par, you will need to beat the level in the required amount of strokes in the upper left corner of the screen. This counts if you score under the number or hit the number. Just don’t go over. There are a few tricky levels, but the par scores are somewhat generous. I was often finishing with 3-2 strokes left. So, there is a little bit of wiggle room if something goes wrong, but not too much. If you’re taking too many strokes, you can (except in Iron mode) reset the level via the pause menu and try again.
This can be earned in any of the modes, but you’ll be required to score under par when playing Challenge mode, so the par related Trophies and Achievements will come as you work your way through Challenge mode.

Practice makes perfect!
One-trick pony
This requires you to get 3 holes in one on 3 different holes. This is obtainable on the early levels. Make sure to do this in the same playthrough. It wouldn’t pop for me across different modes and playthroughs. I finally managed to pop this by getting a hole in one on levels 2, 3 and 4 consecutively. It’s going to take a few tries as you calibrate your shots, so when you miss, restart the level from the pause screen.
Level 2 – Keep the ball on the ground and point the left stick to the right, but not quite at maximum distance. Dial it back just a little bit and the ball should roll up and down the hill into the hole.
Level 3 – Raise the aim arrow a few ticks higher than the chain link fence in the background. You want more of a floating shot than a line drive. The line drive type shots will land with too much speed and roll right past the hole. As previously mentioned, you want your shot to float over the water and land with some speed, but not too much. So for this, make sure to aim a little higher into the air on your shot.
Level 4 – This one can be a little tricky, but it can be done. Extend the arrow out and keep it flat. Then, raise it just a little bit. You want the shot to hit the tipped over container and bounce over the top and down into the hole.
Level 5 – Just like with 3, you’re going to want your shot to float over the gap in the highway. A line drive shot will be too hard and you will go too far. Aim the shot arrow up into the air. This one can be tricky as well because you’ll likely bounce over the hole a few times.
Level 14 – You can get a hole in one on this level by landing your shot into the yellow tube on the left side of the roof. When your shot goes into the tube, it will come out the other end and land in the hole.
Animal Lover
Do not feed the animals!
This is earned in level 28.
Toward the end of the level, there will be a gap that you must clear in order to reach the hole. There is an animal in this gap that jump up and try to eat your ball as it goes over. In order to get this, you need the animal to eat your ball. I found that the closer you are to the gap, the harder it is to get the ball eaten. So, you should stand on the pipes to the left of the gap and shoot it from there. This will give the animal enough time to catch your ball. Don’t aim too high though. You need to make it doesn’t bounce off the ceiling. Hit more of high liner. If you make it past the animal, just restart the level.
First Hole
It’s just the beginning
This is unmissable. You will earn this in the very beginning on the tutorial hole.
Love Letter to Belgrade
Concrete beauty
This is earned during level 11.
All you have to do is hit your ball on top of the overturned pink car. When the character gets on top of the car to hit the ball, don’t do anything. Just set the controller down while standing on top of the car and wait. You’ll turn and look at the pink heart and this will then pop.
MOO!
The cow is not amused
This is earned in level 12.
For this, you just need to hit the ball so that it lands on the cow. If you hit it too close, the cow will eat it. It can be a little tricky, but just chip the ball as close as you can to the cow. When you’re close enough, hit it almost straight up into the air so that it comes down on to the cow. This will pop when the ball lands on the cow.
Swish!
Would you rather play basketball?
This is earned in level 15.
In order to earn this, you have to hit the basketball hoop with the ball. Just chip the ball close to the hoop and then aim for it. I was able to pop this by getting directly underneath the hoop, hitting the ball straight up and hitting the rim.
Only Art Remains
X marks the spot
This is earned in level 16.
There is a red button all the way on the left side of the map. You will need to hit the red button with the ball to reveal a hidden area of the map. Hitting the ball into the yellow tube where you start will take you near the button. If your close, aim just a tick above the red button to hit it.
Art Lover
Get to know contemporary art
This is earned on level 16.
For this, you’re going to need to hit the ball on front of the console that is in front of the statue taking a selfie. Get the ball in front of the console and then put the controller down. All you have to do is wait and the character will turn to look at the statue.
The Little Hoarder
Aaand it’s gone…
This is earned on level 18.
All you have to do is hit the ball on the ground, between the ride and the hole. Don’t hit it onto the tree stump with the hole. Hit it into the highlighted area below to see a squirrel come out, take the ball and go into the hole. This will pop after the short scene plays out.
Weeeee!
Down the rabbit hole
This is earned in level 20.
In order to earn this, you have to hit the ball down the yellow slide like tube. The ball must also stay out of the pile of leaves after exiting the slide. So don’t hit it too hard into the slide. This will pop after the character goes down the slide.
Overrated Artist
Straining the spines
This is earned on level 23 after “Everything must go!” and “Crossbar!.”
Near the end of the level, there will be 4 glass works of art in front of the hole. You will need to hit them with the ball and break all 4 of them in order to pop this.
Crossbar!
Still on the green
This is earned on level 23 after “Everything must go!.”
For this, you will need to get up to the roof of the store. You will need to shoot over the third sale sign to get here. Once on the top, all you have to do is hit the top bar of the goal. I found it easier to get directly under the bar and shoot the ball straight up into it.
Everything must go!
Looking for a bargain?
This is earned on level 23.
All you have to do here is hit each of the signs that say “SALE!!.” There are only 3 of them and they are all right next to each other. Hit each one with the ball and this will pop.
Party Animal
Feel the groove!
This is earned in level 25.
From the very start, hit the ball at the red button to open the door. Next, hit the ball through the newly opened door and into the area with the music, lights and purple smoke. When you go inside, put the controller down and wait. Charlie will eventually start dancing and then this will pop.
Sisyphus
Make up your mind!
This is earned in level 29.
From the start, you’re going to need to hit the ball back to the left. You should see a glowing button on the left. You need to get over there and hit that button with a ball 3 times. Hit it once to reverse the conveyer system of barrels above. Hit it a second time to turn the barrel system off. Hit it one more time to turn the system back on.
The Beauty of the Apocalypse
Gazing at ruins
This is earned in level 33.
As you’re making your way up the platforms, you should notice a platform that extends out of the building to the right. You’re going to need to hit the ball out on to this platform. Once there, hit the ball further right on this platform so that you’re standing outside. Now that you’re out there, put the controller down and just wait. Charlie will turn and stare toward the skyline and this will then pop.
Home Sweet Home
It’s good to be back…
This is unmissable. This will pop after you complete level 34.
Challenge Completed!
It’s a golf game after all.
In order to earn this, you’re going to have to complete all 34 levels in Challenge mode. For this mode, the level will reset if you go over par. If you’re struggling on a level, you can restart the level via the pause menu.
Iron Will!
You’re an exceptionally gifted individual!
First, you will need to have beaten Challenge mode in order to unlock Iron mode. If you go over par in Iron mode, your game will reset. You will need to start all the way over at the first level. You will also fail if your ball lands in a water or waste hazard. Unlike with the other modes, you can not reset the level you’re on from the pause menu. Most of the levels are pretty straightforward, but their are some tricky ones that will require some practice.
Do not attempt this mode until you are familiar with the mechanics and levels of the game.
If you’re about to fail a level, you can actually quit the game and boot it back up. You’ll be started over at the beginning of the level. You can also save scum if you do happen to fail.
No worries, it happens
Environmental hazard
All you have to do is hit the ball into the water or waste areas. You’ll likely earn this as you play through the levels, but you can knock this out on level 3.
Just aim the ball for the water areas and hit it into it. If you’re worried about making par, you can reset the level you’re on after getting this Trophy/Achievement.
