This puzzle game is a pretty quick Platinum to earn. Most of the puzzles here are going to require some trial and error in figuring them out. If you need to try again, you can pause the game and select “Retry.” It loads quickly, so you’ll be right back in the puzzle solving action.
If at any point you get stuck on a puzzle, the solutions will of course be listed here, but Humanity also features video walkthroughs in game via the pause menu. There is no penalty for using the feature and none of the Trophies are impacted by that. How long it takes you to get through this game will depend on if you play it organically or not. Solving the puzzles yourself will take a bit longer, but using this guide or the in game ones will make this very easy and quick.
When it comes to Trophies, the main thing here will be to focus on collecting all of the Goldy in every level.
These are bigger gold humans found in each level. There are anywhere from one to three in each level. You will need to command the humans to walk into them and they will then walk with your groups of humans.
You will earn several Trophies just by collecting all of the Goldy in addition to all of the unmissable story related Trophies. Collecting the Goldy are also required for some of the cosmetic based and misc. Trophies. Collecting them all will complete the majority of the list.
There are seven level specific Trophies as well. One for each Sequence. These just add an extra objective or stipulation to a level, but none of them are overly difficult.
It is possible to get everything done in a single playthrough. If you don’t, don’t worry. You can load up any level and play them again. Nothing here is missable either, so do not worry about that.

SCENIC ROUTE
Complete an optional trial.
Optional trials are trials that are not on the straight line of a sequence. These will be above and below the sequence main line.
This will be earned as you collect all of the Goldy.
AWAKENING: PUT TO BED
Complete Sequence 1: Awakening.
This is an unmissable story related Trophy earned by completing all of the trials in the Awakening sequence.

CHOICE: MADE
Complete Sequence 2: Choice.

BLACK & BLUE
Defeat the Blue Core.
The Blue Core will be basically be a boss trial. You will need to destroy each of the cores in order to complete the trial.

FATE: SEALED
Complete Sequence 3: Fate.

GREEN-EYED MONSTER
Defeat the Green Core.
The Green Core will be basically be a boss trial. You will need to destroy each of the cores in order to complete the trial.

WAR: WON
Complete Sequence 5: War.

YELLOW MELLOWED
Defeat the Yellow Core.

RED IS DEAD
Defeat the Red Core.

GOLDY GOD
Collect all the Goldy.
The Goldy are bigger gold humans found in each level.
There are anywhere from one to three in each level. You will need to command the humans to walk into them and they will then walk with your groups of humans.
A Goldy will be collected when it reaches the end goal of the level. None of these are missable. You can always replay any level if you happen to miss any.
If a Goldy is marked as “Lost” pause the game and try again.
It is also possible to finish a level before the Goldy reached the end goal, if this happens, the Goldy at the bottom of the screen will be marked as “Walking.”
If you see that, you’re still good. Just don’t continue to the next level. The humans will continue walking to the end goal even on the “Stage Completed” screen. Just wait for the Goldy to reach the goal and they will still be counted.
Below you can find video walkthroughs for collecting every Goldy in every level as well as the Sequence specific Trophies.
REFORMER
Cause the people to take on a new form.
This will be earned when you have earned enough Goldy and are given the “Model: Hats” Goldy reward.
This is something you’ll earn as you work toward collecting all of the Goldy.
Equip the new model.
NO LONGER HUMAN?
Cause the people to take on a truly astonishing form.
This will be earned when you have earned enough Goldy and are given the “Model: Monoliths” Goldy reward.
This is something you’ll earn as you work toward collecting all of the Goldy.
Equip the new model.
TRY, TRY AGAIN
Retry the same trial five times while keeping your placed commands.
Start a level and place a command. Pause the game and select Restart – Keep Commands. When the level restarts, select that same option to retry again.
Repeat this until the Trophy pops. It will only take a few seconds to knock this out.
SAFETY FIRST
Get squished by a block.
This can be earned on the level Starting Blocks in Sequence 2: Choice.
Command the humans to push a block over an edge you can drop to. Drop to where the block will be pushed down to and wait for the humans to drop it on you.
FIRE AT WILL
Issue the people with firearms.
This is an unmissable story related Trophy that will unlock in Sequence 5.
WALKING THE HUMAN
Have a single human follow you using the FOLLOW command.
Toward the later part of the game, you’ll get the Follow command. The humans will stand still until you go near them and use the follow command. They’ll then follow you around.
As you use the command near groups, you’ll see how many are following you as the count will be above you. In order to get this, all you have to do is have one human listed as following you.
This may happen naturally for you as you fight the later cores but if not, you can just get close to any human and command them to follow you. You’ll automatically gain followers as you get near them when using the command, so try to stay away from the larger group when going for this. There will be a small radius around you that will lock the humans into following you. So try to just barely clip a single human with that radius to get them to follow.
FOLLOW THE LEADER
Have 1,000 humans follow you at once using the FOLLOW command.
This is something that you’ll unlock as you work through the later levels in the game.
If you don’t have this by the time you fight the Red Core, you’ll get it during the fight.
SIGNIFICANT OTHERS
Defeat 100,000 Others.
This is something you’ll unlock as you progress through the later levels of the game. If for some reason you don’t get this naturally, load up any level that features the Others and just farm kills until this pops.
Your total can be tracked via the stats menu.
LEADER OF THE PACK
Lead 50,000 people into the light.
This is something that will come naturally over time as you play through and solve the various trials.
Your total can be tracked via the stats menu.
OH, THE HUMANITY
Cause 50,000 humans to perish.
This is something that will come naturally over time as you play through and solve the various trials.

ARCHIVE DIGGER
Access the Archives.
See the “PLAYING GOD” Trophy/Achievement below for more details.
PLAYING GOD
Visit the Archives and give the people a new model and skin.
You’ll unlock the Archives as you collect Goldy during the story.
You’ll unlock the Skins as you collect Goldy during the story as well
After both of those are unlocked, go to the Testing Ground and interact with the new statue that has appeared.
Interact with the Archive and “Archive Digger” will pop.
You will have already unlocked different models by the time you unlock skins.
Then, go through and change the models and skins and “Playing God” will then pop.
BY THE NUMBERS
View all Stats.
You’ll unlock the Stats as you collect Goldy during the story.
There are three sets of stats that you need to unlock in order to view them all. You’ll automatically unlock these as you collect all of the Goldy.
- Trials
- Dog
- People
Once you have all three unlocked, pause the game and select, “Stats.” Then, look through each category.
FIRST WONDER
Complete Sequence 1: Trial 02-A THREE TOWERS with all Goldy, while using only two switches.
The switches are the pressure squares that alter the map when the humans walk across them. These have the human icon on them.
In Three Towers, there are three switches. In order to earn this Trophy, you’re going to have to collect the two Goldy by only using two of the three switches.
This is easiest done by using the switch on the left and the middle. Leave the switch on the right alone and use the jump command to get the humans from the center tower over to the one on the right at the top.
SECOND WONDER
Complete Sequence 2: Trial 04-A DROP BOX without a single person perishing.
In order to earn this, you’re going to have to complete the Drop Box level without any of the humans dying.
You’re going to have to make sure that none of the humans fall over the edge or are crushed by the block.
While you’re working on commands, the stream of humans will not stop, so you’re going to want to command them to walk in a square so that they don’t walk over the edge. When you’re ready to finish the level, make sure the path is set before letting them out of the square.
THIRD WONDER
Complete Sequence 3: Trial 05-A MISSING LINK without using one of the branching commands.
The wording on this Trophy is incorrect. You CAN use one of the branching commands.
A branching command will send the humans in two different directions from the same point.
On the Missing Link level, you will have two branching commands that you can put down. In order to earn this, you cannot use them both. You can only use one of them.
FOURTH WONDER
Complete Sequence 4: Trial 08 THE LAST STRAW without a single person perishing.
Just like with “Second Wonder,” none of the humans can die here. They can be killed by getting crushed by blocks or by the others that will be chasing them.
There is a specific path through this level that will have your humans stay ahead of the others at all times.
FIFTH WONDER
Complete Sequence 5: Trial 04 HILL TO DIE ON after destroying all the Others’ gates.
The Others’ gates are the black doorways that the Others are spawning out of. These can be found in the center of the level.
Although there are six gates, you only need to destroy the three that the Others are coming out of. Once they are destroyed, no more Others will be spawning. You can then finish the level to earn this.
SIXTH WONDER
Lead every single person to the light in Sequence 6: Trial 03-B GRID RUNNER.
In order to earn this, you’re going to have make sure every human following you makes it to the end goal. They can be killed by falling off the edge and crushed by the balls rolling toward you.
The biggest threat will be the rolling balls. You’re going to have to time them up in order to avoid them.
You’re also going to have to free every human as 150 of them are needed in order to complete the level. However, you’re going to need make sure you finish with 180 for this Trophy.
There are groups of humans on the left and right side of the map.
The order to free the humans is:
- 20 square on the left first
- 70 square on the right second
- 120 square on the upper left third
- 170 square on the upper right last only if you’re going for Goldy at the same time.
Command each group of humans to follow you as you free them.
The line of humans is going to get pretty long, so make sure to make use of the middle lane.
There are no rolling balls down the middle. When crossing from one side of the map to the other, make use of the center lane by running up or down it when you reach it. That will pull the long line of humans out of the lanes with the rolling balls and to the safety of the middle.
After grabbing the final group on the left, get to the middle lane and run down to straighten out the line. Then, turn around and head straight up to the goal with all 180 humans. It is possible to get the Goldy on the upper right when going for this, but the window to cross over with 180 humans will be tight.
SEVENTH WONDER
Complete Sequence 7: Trial 08 CENTRAL PROCESSING without retrying and keeping your placed commands.
The wording on this can be a little deceiving.
You are allowed to restart the level. You just can’t select the “Keep Commands” retry option. If you retry, you need to select the “Clear Commands” option.
WONDERDOG
Assemble the Seven Wonders of Humanity.
This is popped by earning the following Trophies:

- Fifth Wonder
- Sixth Wonder
- Seventh Wonder
