Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Trophy Guide and Roadmap

Welcome to the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Trophy guide!

  • 6/10 Estimated Difficulty / Higher Mastery Levels can be difficult
  • 50+ Estimated Hours to Completion – Grind dependent. Incursion Mission/level grinding may take longer
  • 1 Minimum Playthrough of the story
  • 0 Missable Trophies

Before diving in, it’s important to note that this list can be fully completed solo. While this is a live service co-op game, there is nothing here that requires playing with other people online.

The first thing you’re going to want to do here is complete the main story. It is not very long (8 – 10 hours). Progressing through the story will unlock all of the Support Squad missions as well as all of the Riddler AR Challenges. The endgame content is where the grind is going to come into play.

While playing through the story, you’re going to want to maximize the amount of XP you earn. You can do this by playing as “Psyched Up” characters on missions, applying XP bonus gains to your weapons as well as playing on higher difficulties.

Another thing to keep in mind while playing through the story are Contracts. These are small, usually quick objectives that offer resources or XP as rewards for completing them. You’ll need to complete 100 of these, so get started on them right away and make sure to regularly complete and change them. These will be introduced to you as part of the story. When you first get them, you’ll only be able to work on 2 at a time. This can be increased to 5 by completing Support Squad missions for Hack.

Outside of that, this game can be played however you’d like without fear of missing any Trophies/Achievements.

Difficulty

The majority of this list can be completed on any difficulty. There is no difficulty specific Trophy/Achievement per se. However, you will need to play on the highest Mastery level in the Incursion endgame missions in order to unlock the next Mastery levels. This is required in order to reach Mastery 20.

Support Squad Missions

Support Squad missions are side missions for specific characters that you will recruit as part of the main story. You can do these as they become available in order to earn more XP and gear. As the story progresses, more Support Squad missions will become available. None of them are missable.

Collectibles

There are two types of collectibles in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. First, there are Riddler trophies. There are 40 of them and they are found all across Metropolis. The other collectible are Riddler Riddles. For these, you just need to scan the answer to a riddle. There are 21 of these to find. Both of these will become available at the same time during the early stages of the story after interacting with Riddler.

The AR Challenges will not fully become available until late in the game. So, you can complete these as they appear or wait until they are all unlocked.

Endgame Content

After completing the main story, the endgame content will be available. These are called Incursion missions. You’re going to have to grind through these in order to complete this Trophy/Achievement list. These missions are going to need to be replayed repeatedly in order to farm Infamy gear as well as Mastery Levels for the missions themselves.

The higher mastery levels can get a little difficult. While can they be done solo, having a team can make these more manageable.

Blaze of Glory

Achieve 39 Stars in Riddler AR Challenges

There are 13 Riddler AR Challenges to complete. In order to reach 39 Stars, you’re going to need to score 3 Stars on each AR Challenge. These are traversal challenges, not combat. The game will recommend a character for each one, but Deadshot is the best for the majority of them, despite the in-game recommendations. All you have to do is complete a track by traversing through goals within a time limit.

The “Above your League” challenge should be done with King Shark. The rest can be completed with Deadshot.

Unlike the Riddler Riddles and Trophies, these will not all be available at the same time. These will be unlocked as you progress through the story. You won’t have access to all of them until late in the story.

As they become available, they will be added to your map.

The Right Question

Solve 5 of Riddler’s Riddles

See “The Real Deal” Trophy/Achievement below for more details.

The Real Deal

Solve 21 of Riddler’s Riddles

In order to solve one, you’ll need to press Up on the D-Pad when the riddle answer is in view.

Riddler will say a riddle as you get near an answer.

You can refer to the Riddler Riddle Solutions Guide for the locations of every riddle.

Lawton’s Last Stand

Reach Max Level with Deadshot

You’re going to have to reach level 30 with each of the four characters. Each of them have Trophies/Achievements tied to reaching max level.

XP is earned by killing enemies and completing missions. There are a few ways you can increase the amount of XP you’re gaining.

  • Re-roll your weapon via the Penguin’s Overhaul option to change its Augments. There are Augments that increase XP gains. You can add these to all of your weapons. You can also modify Augments with Toyman. This will allow you to change out specific augments for something else.

  • Use Psyched Up characters on missions. When selecting a mission, they will sometimes select a character to be “psyched up” for it. When you see this, switch to that character and play as them for that mission. This will increase the amount of XP that character earns during the mission.

  • Complete Contracts regularly. These are small challenges that sometimes reward you with XP. Make sure to complete and change them out regularly.

  • Playing on higher difficulties will reward you with more XP.

The Chosen One

Fully complete the Combat Flair checklist 5 times (Single Player Sessions Only)

Combat Flair checklists will appear while you are in combat during a mission or side mission.

It is a list of three optional objectives that will appear on the right side of the screen. In order to earn this, you’re going to have to complete all three objectives in a single checklist 5 times. You cannot earn this by completing 5 individual objectives across multiple different checklists.

Trial by Blood

Reach Squad Level 50

Your Squad Level will become available once you have a character reach level 30. When that happens, you’ll be given a new skill tree that you can upgrade. You’ll need to upgrade that skill tree to 50.

If you have 1 character at level 30, only the XP earned by that character will be counted toward the new skill tree. If you have all characters at level 30, all of the characters will contribute to this new skill tree when earning XP.

The methods used for leveling up your individual characters apply to this as well. Tips for earning increased XP can be found under the “Lawton’s Last Stand” Trophy/Achievement above.

Choices

Get Penguin to overhaul a piece of gear

You’ll recruit Penguin as part of the main story.

In order to get Penguin to overhaul a piece of gear, you will need to complete his first Support Squad mission, “Guns for Goons.” This will appear on your map as a Penguin icon when available.

After completing the mission, return to the Hall of Justice and speak with Penguin. Choose the “Overhaul” option.

From there, select any weapon and overhaul it.

The Venom Connection

Equip 3 pieces of the Tier 1 Infamy Set

See “The Reaper” Trophy/Achievement below for more details.

All Sorts of Fun

Equip 3 pieces of the Tier 2 Infamy Set

See “The Reaper” Trophy/Achievement below for more details.

The Reaper

Equip 3 pieces of the Tier 3 Infamy Set

Infamy gear will become available as rewards after completing the story.

Upon finishing the story, a new tab will be added to the pause menu, The Nexus. Once there, you’ll see “Finite Crisis.” This is the endgame content.

In order to earn the Infamy Sets of gear, you will need to increase your Finite Crisis rank. You can do this by farming Incursion missions. By doing so, you’ll increase your rank as well as get random drops of Infamy gear.

Once you have three from the same tier set, equip them all to a character to earn the Trophy/Achievement associated with the tier level you are on.

  • Tier 1 Infamy Set is earned through Mastery levels 1 – 9
  • Tier 2 Infamy Set is earned through Mastery levels 10 – 19
  • Tier 3 Infamy Set is earned through Mastery levels 20 – 25

Trial By Fire

What the hell just happened?

This is an unmissable story related Trophy/Achievement. This will be earned after completing the opening intro.

Choice of Evils

Unlock a Villain Synergy

Villain Synergy is unlocked by equipping two types of gear that are specific to different villains. You’ll need to equip a notorious piece of gear and an Infamy piece of gear to the same character.

The gear will have the villain’s name on it in the description.

kill the justice league trophy league

You can actually craft Black Mask notorious weapons by speaking with the Penguin at the Hall of Justice after you have completed all of his Support Squad missions.

As for the Infamy gear, that is earned by grinding out Incursion missions after the story. At the time of launch, Bane gear is available. The villains will change depending on the season, but the process will remain the same.

Grand Experiment

Get Toyman to Elite a piece of gear

First, you will need to have recruited Toyman. This is something that will happen as part of the main story. After you have him recruited, you will then need to complete all of his Support Squad missions.

Forces in Motion

Get Poison Ivy to Supercharge the Affliction on a piece of gear

First, you will need to have recruited Poison Ivy. This is something that will happen as part of the main story. After you have her recruited, you will then need to complete all of her Support Squad missions.

After completing all of her Support missions, return to her at the Hall of Justice. Speak with her and select, “Supercharge.” Then, choose any weapon and supercharge it.

Allies

Complete 50 Support Squad Contracts

See the “Need to Know” Trophy/Achievement below for more details.

Number the Dead

Defeat 10 Raising Hell Hit Squads

Raising Hell Hit Squads will become available as part of the main story near the end of the story. A new checklist of objectives will appear on the left side of your map.

Once you complete all of the objective in a Raising Hell checklist, a Raising Hell Hit Squad will spawn and attack you.

This is better done in free roam rather than in missions. If you happen to complete the mission, the Hell Squad can de-spawn. So, do this in free roam.

This will be a bit of a grind as you’re going to need to complete the objective list 10 times in order to get 10 Raising Hell squads to spawn. When a group shows up, press Down on the D-Pad and they will be highlighted in pink.

Need to Know

Complete 100 Support Squad Contracts

You’ll gain access to Support Squad Contracts as part of the story. Progress through the story and Hack will make these available to you.

Once unlocked, Contracts can be viewed in the pause screen. At first, you’ll only be able to have 2 contracts active at a time, but you can increase that by compelting Hack’s Support Squad missions. By completing all of Hack’s Support missions, you will have 5 contract slots.

There will be a list of available Contracts. You’ll need to select them to activate them. These consist of fairly basic and easy to complete objectives. Once activated, complete them and then go to the Contracts menu to turn them in. In addition to getting a reward, turning these in officially completes them for the Trophy/Achievement.

History Repeats

Begin the Batman Experience

This can be earned after completing the section where Batman is knocking out your characters one by one. This happens early in the story. You’ll be able to earn this right after the “Hitting the Fan” Trophy/Achievement pops. Your story objective will be, “Escape the Bat-Museum.”

As soon as you regain control, you’ll be standing in front of the Arkham Asylum Intensive Treatment entrance in the museum. Walk toward that entrance and press / on the button to your right.

kill the justice league trophy guide

This is not missable. You can always return to the museum via free roam if you don’t get this right away.
