Welcome to the Marvel’s Wolverine Collectible Guide!
This guide will walk you through every Whiskey Bottle, Material Crate, Nightmare Door and miscellaneous chapter specific trophy in the order that they appear in the game. Nothing is too stressful here. Anything you miss can be collected via chapter select. Even after the story is completed. The collectibles in this game are pretty easy to find. This game is begging you to find them. When you’re near a Whiskey Bottle, a scent trail will appear that you can follow to the bottle. Nightmare Doors will spawn basically on the main path. A big purple root will spawn out of the ground and lead you right to the door. As for the Material Crates, these will emit a big blue pulse out that you can very easily see when you are somewhat near the a crate.
Collectibles can be made even easier to find by utilizing an accessibility feature. Go to the Pause Menu > Settings> Visuals > Collectibles and Interacts Shader. You can turn that on and the game will highlight collectibles on screen for you to very easily find.
You can track how many collectibles you have per mission. The only thing not tracked in this guide are the XP Caches. These are containers that will give you XP when you damage them. You’ll need to destroy at least 100 of them for a trophy. But don’t worry, there are well over 100 of these to find. They are usually out in the open and in combat sections. The maps are pretty linear and contained, so searching these out will not take that much time.

Homecoming
- Whiskey Bottle – Uncanny Whiskey
This is found as part of the story. There will be a scent trail that you need to follow to find your room. The trail will lead right to the bottle in your room.
- Nightmare Door – The Enemy of my Enemy
You will enter this Nightmare door as part of the story.
- Material Crate #1
You will find this crate as part of the story. Walter will ask you to find the crate. It will be in the small storage room in his lab.
- Material Crate #2
This is right after the previous crate. Again, it will be part of the story. You’ll need to follow a scent trail and it will lead you to it. It is in Victor’s room.
The One That Got Away
- Trophy
– Shish Kebab
During this mission, there are multiple enemy encounters where there will be a forklift with its forks raised. In order to get this trophy, all you have to do is kite an enemy so that they are standing in front of the forklift, then hold and release 
to kick them into the forks which will impale them. Keep an eye out for the forklifts when in combat. You only need to do it one time.
- Trophy – Greased
This will come shortly after sliding down the tree after jumping from the roof at the beginning of the mission. Follow the scent trail through the next area and it will lead you to a breakable wooden fence with yellow spray paint on it. Punch the fence to knock it over and enter the room. The diary is on the table to the right. Interact with it to read it. Once you back out of it, the trophy will pop. Make sure to enter this room before climbing up the knocked over pole.
- Whiskey Bottle – Incredible 181
This is found in the same room as the previous trophy. It is on the left side of the car. The scent trail leads right to it.
- Material Crate #3
After riding the power line like a zipline, you’ll have to fight two enemies. After killing them, turn around and head toward the gate you slid over on the power line. There will be a breakable crate that you can, well, break to reveal the Material Crate.
- Material Crate #4
Shortly after the previous crate, you’ll have to drop into a warehouse through a glass window on the roof and fight a single enemy. Drop all the way to the bottom floor and head over to the right side of the room. There is a big pipe that you can enter to find this crate.
- Nightmare Door – Can’t Outrun the Past
This will be on the main path. A purple branch will come out of the ground and point you right to it.
- Material Crate #5
This is found in the same area as the previous Nightmare Door. It is on the opposite side of the river. As you step out of the Nightmare Door, you should see the blue pulsing indicator. Go to the opposite side of the river at the end and look right to see this crate.
- Material Crate #6
Before opening the second truck at the docks, jump onto the blue shipping container that is right of the front of the truck. You should see a cable hanging near that blue container. Jump onto that cable and ride it up to the top of the crane to find this crate.
Raise Some Hell
- Material Crate #7
This is found in the second combat area. There will be three sniper enemies here. When you jump to this section, stay in the grass and head over to the left. This crate is found along the left side ledge before reaching the two snipers in the middle of the area.
- Material Crate #8
This is found in the same area as the previous crate. Follow the stream of water in the middle of the area to end on the right side of the and it’ll lead you to this crate.
- Material Crate #9
This crate is found in the third combat area. You’ll go through a short building and then come out to a yard with a group of enemies. From where you enter this area, the crate is found in the back left corner behind the construction trailers.
- Trophy – Recycled
The next area will have you in the refinery with enemies stationed above you. Stay on the ground floor and run straight to the back where there the molten metal is. You’ll be seen by the enemies, so they’ll jump down and fight you right in front of the molten metal. In order to earn this trophy, you need to hold and release to kick them into the pit of molten metal. This needs to be done against the cyborg like enemies. There will be one that has the electric shield arms. You can kick him into the molten metal to earn the trophy. You can jump up to the second higher floors to get more Reaver enemies to spawn. There is also another pit of molten metal up there that you can use if you can’t get it from the ground floor.
- Nightmare Door – Hunting the Hunter
After leaving the refinery, you’ll head down some stairs into an outside area. At the bottom of the stairs, the purple root will appear and guide you to the door right around the corner from where you entered.
- Material Crate #10
This is found near the previous Nightmare Door. It is in the back of the truck in the middle of the area immediately after the Nightmare Door.
- Whiskey Bottle – Cold Lake
When exiting the back of the truck for the previous crate, go straight and then turn left. There will be a door straight ahead at the other side of the area with a little scent trail leading to it. Kick down the door to find this bottle.
Strays
- Whiskey Bottle – Blood Debt
While searching for Leech’s drawings, this can be found in the Laboratory. The lab is on the first floor near the kitchen. The bottle will be on the back right bedside table.
- Material Crate #11
This is found to your immediate right as soon as you enter the Armory when searching for Leech’s drawings.
Something Much Stronger
Destroying the haybale targets will give you XP and count toward the Cache Crusher trophy.
- Material Crate #12
Shortly after the beginning of the mission, you’ll come to an area with water and ledges you need to jump up to in order to continue through. Look over to the right to see a tree you can climb that has a branch pointing right. Climb up that tree and then jump to the ledge to the right. The branch is basically pointing toward the crate.
- Whiskey Bottle – Not Dead Yet
Right after the previous crate, you’ll jump over to opposite side and hear an animal in the distance. Go over to the right of this area to find a big open cave. Go in the cave and climb up the ledges inside to find the bottle. There is a stream of water that will lead into this cave that you can follow.
- Nightmare Door – Fallen on Hard Times
This will be found right after freeing the wolf. As you head down the path, the purple root will appear and lead you to it.
- Material Crate #13
Shortly after the Nightmare Door, you’ll need to run up a fallen log. Before running up the log, look over to the left to see this crate.
- Material Crate #14
Shortly after the previous crate, you’ll come to a fork in the road. Take the path on the right and follow it to the end to find this crate in front of a small shack.
- Material Crate #15
This will be to the right of the cabin that you will eventually climb up to.
Knock Knock
- Material Crate #16
This is found behind the desk on the right side of the room that you enter after destroying the vehicle with the laser turret.
- Material Crate #17
After killing the enemies in the server room, you’ll need to jump up to the second floor to continue. As you head forward on the second floor, there will be a vent that you can break open. Break it open and go through it to find this crate. The vent is before you interact with the keypad to open the door.
- Whiskey Bottle – Tenth Man
This is found immediately after collapsing the Comms Relay tower. Sabertooth will help you up and then a blue scent trail will appear to your right. Follow it around up into a broken window to find this bottle on counter inside of the room you drop into.
Mutant Detected
- Material Crate #18
This will be behind the desk that is right in front of you at the very beginning of the mission.
- Material Crate #19
This is found when you exit the security room. Mystique will open a door by disguising herself as Trask. Go through that door and look right to find this crate.
- Material Crate #20
Continue through the chapter until you reach the room where Mystique will change into Wolverine in order to break open a door. Go through that door and take your first left. In put 0291 on the keypad to open the door. The crate is behind that door in the small storage room.
- Material Crate #21
This will be immediately after the tunnel crawling section. Go forward in the next area around the debris. The exit is on the right, but this crate is on the left. Across from the exit behind a piece of burning debris.
- Nightmare Door – Bad Inhibitions
Immediately after exiting the previous room with the last crate, look to your left at the interactable terminal to your left. Interact with it to open the door. Follow the hallway in that now opened door and it will lead straight to the Nightmare Door.
- Whiskey Bottle – Fist of Legend
Immediately after the Nightmare Door, enter the next room and look to the left. and you should see a keypad on the wall next to a door. Enter 5413 to unlock the door. Go in the room and head to back to find a vent on the floor. Open it and go through the vent. Open the next vent to climb up into another room. The bottle will be on the table in this second room.

One Last Mission
- Material Crate #22
This is in the room to the right of the bar at the very beginning.
- Whiskey Bottle – The Old Man
Go upstairs and talk to Victor. After the cutscene with him, Logan will put the bottle down. When you get control, turn around and pick the bottle back up.
- Nightmare Door – Last Stand at Cold Pines
After leaving the bar, follow the scent trail looking for Jean and eventually, the purple root will spawn and lead you right to the door.
- Material Crate #23
Continue tracking Jean until you have to go up some stairs. Instead of going up them, go down the stairs to the left to find this crate.
- Material Crate #24
When chasing The Hand, you’ll eventually come to a pier. Beat The Hand enemies and then look over to the left to see a narrow pier that extends out. The crate will be down at the end of that narrow pier. This pier will be between two big buildings.
Jetlag
- Trophy – Ground Control
When fighting The Hand on the plane, make sure to fight them in front of the holes and openings in the side of the plane. Keep attacking them by the holes and openings and you’ll knock them out of the plane through the holes. You don’t need to really go out of your way here. Just stay near the holes. More holes will be opened up in the sides and back of the plane as the mission goes on.
Get Angry
Destroying the small statues with red glowing eyes and red glowing lanterns on their heads will give you XP and count toward the Cache Crusher trophy.
- Material Crate #25
As you start following Jean’s scent, she’ll tell you that she is by an arcade. As soon as you get that message, go forward and then look left down an alley to see this crate between two buildings. The crate is behind a building that has, “Smash.Compete” and “Kazuhiro” signs on it.
- Trophy – Poseidon’s Kiss & Whiskey Bottle – Patch
Continue through the mission until you and Jean go to the Sleepy Kiss bar. Go down stairs in that bar and follow the path to the bathroom. Interact with the mask on the wall next to the toilet. Wait for the scene to play out and then the trophy will pop. After the big head statue moves all the way back, it will reveal the Whiskey Bottle on a shelf on the right side of the same bathroom as the trophy.
- Material Crate #26
Shortly after the previous trophy, you’ll ride an elevator. Get off the elevator and look over to the right to find this crate.
- Material Crate #27
After destroying the third incense burner, exit the room. There will be a railing in front of you. Before jumping over the railing, follow the path right to find find this crate behind a stack of boxes.
- Material Crate #28
After finding the locket in the caves, you’ll have to swing across some bars and then climb up. When you reach the top, turn around and head straight back to find this crate.
- Nightmare Door – Death By 1000 Cuts
This will appear right in front of you after you’re able to use the ability to impale enemies with their swords. As the sequence ends, the door will spawn right in front of you.
- Material Crate #29
After riding another elevator, follow the hallway into a room with shelves where Logan will pick up Walter’s scent. Go over to far right side of the room to find the last crate of the mission.
Bad Blood
- Material Crate #30
After using the zipline, climb up onto the roof and this crate will be behind a big stack of boxes in front of the orange tarp.
- Nightmare Door – Shinjuku Shuffle
After chasing the enemy, you’ll have another group to fight. When that fight is done and Logan takes the mask from an enemy, the purple roots will appear on your left and lead you to the door.
- Material Crate #31
When you meet back up with Jean, she’ll tell you the doorman will not let you in the building. You will then need to climb up a scaffolding. This crate is at the top of the scaffolding.
- Material Crate #32
Shortly after the previous crate, you’ll climb up into a building that is under construction. At the top, you’ll need to follow Jean to the left. She’ll be hovering over a platform. Before following her, destroy the XP statue straight ahead of you and drop down behind it to find this crate.
- Whiskey Bottle – Fatal Attractions
From the previous crate, look to your right to see the scent trail leading that way. Follow it up the wall to find this on a box with a blue tarp on it.
- Material Crate #33
Right after the previous bottle and crate, ride the platform over with Jean. When it stops moving, don’t go forward yet. Instead, turn around and drop down to the building behind you. Them go through the open doorway on the right to reach the crate.
The code to the door in the penthouse is 1924.
In The Shadows
- Material Crate #34
Enter the first set of doors at the arcade. Go down the stairs and then turn left at the gacha machines. Don’t go through the second set of doors yet. Go left and down the stairs to the crate.
- Trophy – That’s Cheating
As part of the main story, interact with the only active arcade machine. Investigate the items inside the hidden room until you hear a noise. Exit the room and you’ll be in a fight against enemies in the arcade. For this trophy, you need to destroy every claw machine in this room. These are the machines that have the stuffed animals in them. You can do this during the fight, or after it. Go through and attack every claw machine until the trophy pops.
- Material Crate #35
This is found near the detector power source that is on the roof. When you climb up, you can hop over a wall to reach the power source on the roof. Before hopping over that wall, jump to the building on the left and go behind the airducts to find the crate.
- Whiskey Bottle – The Best There Is
This is found after destroying the power source on the roof. After destroying the power source and climbing back to the rooftops, look slightly left at the blue and brown building with a billboard of a woman on it. You need to jump over to the roof near that building. The bottle is on a table on that rooftop just under the picture of the woman.
- Material Crate #36
From the previous bottle, climb up to the roof of the building with the woman’s billboard on it. Then, look over to the left. There will be a ramp you can jump from to reach a white building. Jump over and then go behind the air conditioners on the roof right of the climbable pipe to find this crate.
- Material Crate #37
Climb up the pipe on the white building next to the previous crate. Use the cable to climb over to the fourth power source on the roof across the way. When you get off of the cable, look right to see this crate nearby.
- Material Crate #38
After riding the delivery truck, you’ll be at a construction site. Go forward into the site and then go left between two office trailers. Follow this down and to the right to find this crate next to a bulldozer.
- Whiskey Bottle – Berserker Brew
After meeting up with Jean, you’ll be in a red lit room. Enter the main area with other NPCs and head over to left to see the scent trail that will lead you to the bottle on a table.
- Material Crate #39
Follow the hallways after opening the hidden door in the wall. When you exit a tunnel that leads into a cave like area, look left to see this crate.
- Material Crate #40
After beating the Fist, Jean will take you up to a rooftop. Use the zipline to slide down. As you slide down, drop off the line about halfway across to land on the roof with the crate. If you slide all the way over, you can turn around and jump over to the rooftop with the crate.
Death Comes to Death
- Material Crate #41
At the very beginning of the mission, look over to your left to find this crate behind some air conditioning units. Do this before jumping down.
- Whiskey Bottle – Hand of God
This will be on your main path after beating the enemies inside the bar area.
- Material Crate #42
After watching the security footage, you’ll go down some stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, go right. Duck under the big pipe and the crate will be right there.
- Nightmare Door – Rockbottom Blues
The root that leads to this door will spawn at the bottom of the stairs you just went down in the same room as the previous crate. You likely saw them when heading for crate.
- Material Crate #43
When following the claw marks on the ground, they’ll lead you to an elevator. Before getting on the elevator, look right to find this crate behind an electrical box.
We Were Wrong
- Material Crate #44
At the beginning of the mission, you’ll be following claw marks in the ground. Eventually, you’ll come to a box truck that says, “Advances In Science,” on the side of it. The crate is behind that truck.
- Trophy – Saturn Slam
Shortly after the previous crate, you’ll climb into a planetarium. Once inside, go left. Stealth kill the enemy on the left side and then attack the rope at the end of the catwalk to drop the Saturn model down on the enemies below.
- Material Crate #45
This is found in same room as the previous trophy. It is up on the ledge opposite of the catwalk you were on. The archers will be up there during the fight against the remaining enemies.
- Whiskey Bottle – Revolto
When following the foot prints down the street, you’ll come to an intersection. Jean will go right. For this bottle, you need to go left. The bottle will be behind the white box truck at the intersection.
- Material Crate #46
Shortly after the previous bottle, you’ll fight a group of enemies. Right after that, there will be an overturned white car in the middle of the road. Go left of that car and then right into a short side path to find this crate.
- Material Crate #47
Continue through the mission until you step through a big hole in a wall on the street. As you step through, look over to the left to see another white box truck. This crate is behind that truck.
- Trophy – Blindsided
When you enter the building after the previous crate, you’ll be able to start working toward 10 stealth kills on enemies blinded by Jean. When you sneak up on enemies, there will be an R1 prompt above them. Press it and Jean will blind them. You need to stealth kill them while they are blinded.
- Material Crate #48
After breaking open the doorway in the warehouse, you’ll go down some stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, go over to the left to find the crate behind the boxes.
Hell Followed With Him
- Material Crate #49
At the very beginning of the mission, Jean will be crouched inspecting something. Go toward her and turn left. Go left again along the side of the building to find this crate.
- Material Crate #50
In the same area as the previous crate, Jean will investigate a statue. From that statue, go right and up some stairs. At the top of the stairs, look left to see this in the back corner of the training area.
- Material Crate #51
This is found in the bigger open area with a lot of enemies. You’ll start the area out in stealth. This crate is found over on the right side of this big area. It’s on a ledge that is overlooking a small pond of water. There is also an XP statue right next to it. Look for the glowing eyes of the statue to mark its location.
- Whiskey Bottle – The Itsu Single Malt
After the climbing section where Jean helps you climb by holding up some boulders, you’ll climb up to a small building. Before jumping from this building, drop down off the roof to find this bottle on a barrel.
- Material Crate #52
Continue through the mission until Jean and Logan force open two big doors. Step through that doorway and look to your immediate left to find the chest.
Death’s Match
There are no collectibles during this mission.
Sinister Tidings
- Material Crate #53
After interacting with the sink, walk through the bedroom and go into the closet on your left to find this crate.
- Nightmare Door – Crucible of Tears
The purple root will spawn in the bedroom after leaving the sink and will lead you outside onto the balcony for this door.
Way Down Low
- Material Crate #54
This is found inside the back of the truck that you open that frees the trapped people.
- Material Crate #55
This is in the back of the truck at the second checkpoint just like the previous crate. This truck will be off to the left just before the checkpoint guard wall.
- Material Crate #56
Go through the checkpoint and take the first left down a narrow alley. You’ll go down some stairs in the alley. Keep going straight through the alley until you come to the next street. At the street, go right to find another truck with trapped people in it. The crate is in there with the people again.
- Whiskey Bottle – Wild Canadian Whiskey
Continue through the mission until you have to ride up a hanging rope to the roof where a sniper was taking shots at you from. As soon as you get to the top, turn around to see the scent trail behind you that leads around the corner on the balcony.
- Material Crate #57
Progress a little further. You’ll climb up higher and then the camera will automatically focus on a tall radio tower. At that spot, look over to the building on the right to see some satellite dishes on the next roof over. Jump over to that roof to get this crate.
- Nightmare Door – Blood in the Jungle
After the radio tower, you’ll ride a zipline. As soon as you land after the zipline, the roots for the door will appear.
- Whiskey Bottle – Little Uncle
After the previous door, continue on forward and drop down off the roof to the building below to find this bottle on a table.
Roll the Dice
- Whiskey Bottle – Blood and Bourbon
As soon as the mission starts, head upstairs to the second floor and go to the bar to find this on the counter.
- Nightmare Door – Run the Tables
Progress through the casino until you are in the backroom. After the fight in the back, the next objective will be to ride an elevator. Before going in the elevator, go left and down the hallway to the end to find the door.
- Material Crate #58
This is to the right of the same elevator as the previous Nightmare Door in the backroom. Get it before going into the elevator.
Field Test
- Whiskey Bottle – Captain Terror
After the fight against the sentinels, this will be on your path right as you leave the warehouse on the second floor. It is slightly left on the air conditioner.
- Material Crate #59
After freeing the people in the cage, you’ll have to run up the street. When you get to the blue car, look left into an alley to see this crate.
- Material Crate #60
After destroying the vehicle with the turret, you’ll head up another street. Shortly up the street, you’ll come to a more wide space with vendor stalls lining the left side. This crate is behind those vendor stalls.
Red Right Hand
- Trophy – Harmer’s Market
During the fight with Sabretooth, you need to destroy every vendor stall in the area. It doesn’t have to be you that destroys them. If you can’t get some space from Victor, just keep dodging and dodge near the vendor stalls. Victor will destroy them as he swings at you. Just don’t finish the first half of the fight until every stall is destroyed and the trophy has popped. At about half health, the fight will move to a different area.
Don’t Go Gentle
There are no collectibles during this mission.
I’m Still Here
- Material Crate #61
After cutting your way through the second pile of debris blocking your path, you’ll come to a fork at a big hole in the wall in front of you. You can go left, or you can go right. Go right and head straight to the last building. Enter that last building to find the chest.
- Whiskey Bottle – Ol’ Canucklehead
Continue through the mission until you come to the next sentinel enemy. Kill it, and then look to the left wall to see a hole. Go into that hole and you’ll be back in Tyger’s bar. Go upstairs in the bar to find this bottle on a round table.
- Material Crate #62
Kill the next sentinel enemy. To reach that enemy, you can either cut down the debris blocking your path, or you can go through a building on the right. Either way, when you reach the next street, head over to the right to get this chest after dealing with the enemy. Going left will continue the story path.
- Material Crate #63
Once inside of the Noodle Bar, get down the bottom level. The objective will want you to go through a door on that bottom level, but don’t yet. When facing the door, turn around to see a wall you can climb. Climb up it and into a room that has this crate.
- Material Crate #64
Continue through the mission until you are overlooking an area where multiple sentinels are scanning the area. This chest is down below under the sentinel to your left as you enter the area.
- Nightmare Door – Edge of a Knife
Stay following on the main path and the roots will spawn leading you to the door. They’ll be just before interacting with the door that has the impaled enemy hanging on it.
- Material Crate #65
After seeing Jean from a distance, you’ll have to drop down on to the street below. Once on the street, go left and you should see two enemies up ahead. This crate is to the right of those enemies.
This Was The Dream
- Nightmare Door – Savage Showdown
The roots to this door will appear as soon as you finish fighting in the crypt like area near the beginning.
- Material Crate #66
This is found immediately after riding the rope up the bell tower. As soon as you regain control step forward and then look right.
- Material Crate #67
After the hallucination at Tyger’s bar, you’ll have to break through a window. Break through and drop down. Go left when you land to find this crate.
- Material Crate #68
After the second Essex hallucination, you’ll need to walk through a hole in the wall that Jean makes. Go through the hole and then head up the stairs to your left to find the final crate.
No Coming Back

Post Story
- Trophy
– Repressed Memories
After the the story, the final Nightmare Trial will be unlocked. You need to earn at least a bronze score on every Nightmare Trial in order to earn this trophy. That includes a bronze on this trial as well.
