Little Nightmares II Trophy and Achievement Guide

Welcome to the Trophy/Achievement Guide for Little Nightmares II! This is a very easy list in what is a great game. There is a pretty good mix if miscellaneous things to do along with collectibles.

There are some missables, but there is also Chapter Select. Anything you miss can quickly be cleaned up via Chapter Select. The Trophy/Achievement descriptions are pretty vague, but there is nothing difficult here to worry about.

This is an unmissable story related Trophy/Achievement. Complete Chapter 5 to unlock this. There is only one Hat in Chapter 5 and it will be given to you automatically.

 Far Ahead

Hats are very important to some people

This is earned by collecting all of the Hats found in the game. There are two in each Chapter,1 through 4. You start with one and there is one more in Chapter 5 that will be given to you automatically. See the above videos if you need a guide. A few of the miscellaneous Trophies and Achievements will require certain hats be worn.


 Evasive Prey

Not today!

Chapter 1

This Trophy/Achievement requires you to reach the house in Chapter 1 without dying. There are not many threats and this portion of the Chapter isn’t very long either. You’re going to need to out run a log that’ll roll down a hill behind you and avoid traps. You can jump over the first trap. Be on the lookout for a trip wire like trap.

After that, there will be a net trap covered by leaves. You’ll know you’re near it when you reach a small pit like area with some shoes lying around. Pick up a shoe and throw it into the leaf pile ahead of you to trip the trap. After that, there will be some bear traps. You’ll know you’re near those when you see a grabbable stick in the background. Pick up the stick and press X/A to swing forward. Hit the bear traps with the stick to set them off. This will pop when you reach the stairs to the porch of the house.

 Half Hat

It would be cliché to collect them all

This is unlocked for collecting half of the Hats. See “Far Ahead” for more details.


 How Do I Look?

Perfect! It’s so… you!

In order to earn this you’ll need to first beat the game. After the credits have rolled, load up any Chapter and then equip the hat that was automatically given to you during Chapter 5.


 In The Palm of My Hand

Hold tight and we’ll be just fine

This Trophy/Achievement can be earned in any of the Chapters that you’re with Six. You have to hold Six’s hand for a total of six minutes. When near her, hold R2/RT to hold her hand.


 Toys Are for Kids

There, you’ll be much warmer now

Chapter 3

Eventually you’ll come to a room with toys in it just after interacting with the TV. First, you need climb up the bookcase on the right side of the room and grab a hat collectible up here. Once you have it, put it on. Now, jump down and grab a teddy bear. Drag it all the way out into the elevator. The elevator will go down. Exit the elevator and go to the right to find a hole in the wall. Throw the teddy bear into the hole and then interact with the switch to turn on the furnace. This will pop shortly after burning the bear.

 Popcorn

Movie night on the ward – all taken care of!

Chapter 3

After getting the first of two electrical fuses and having plugged it in to the door on the left upstairs, go into the next room through that door and you should see a corn cob on the floor. Pick it up and bring it to the elevator downstairs. Ride the elevator down and then throw the corn into the hole on the right side. Interact with the switch to turn on the furnace to make some totally not spoiled popcorn.

 Hunger

Plenty of snacks for a growing boy

Chapter 3

This can be done near the beginning of Chapter 3. You’ll find yourself in a room with a vending machine. All you have to do is jump up and hang on the lever of the machine six times. Jump, hang, let go and repeat. Five cans will come out and then nothing on the sixth except a shiny new Trophy or Achievement.

 X Best Friends

I see through you…

Chapter 3

After interacting with the TV in Chapter 3, the next room will have an X-Ray machine in it. Jump up and hang on the lever to turn it on. Six will go stand behind it. Go stand next to her and hold her hand with R2 or RT. The machine will take an X-Ray and the Trophy or Achievement will then pop.

Better to be safe than sorry

Chapter 3

When looking for the first electrical fuse, you’ll eventually have to fight a hand crawling around on the ground. Hit it three times with the hammer to kill it. After you’ve killed it, hit it another three times to pop this.

 Objection

Some holes are more picky than others

Chapter 3

After getting the first of two electrical fuses and having plugged it in to the door on the left upstairs, you’ll eventually come out into a cell like room. You’ll come out of a small vent in the top of the wall and fall into the cell. There will be a piece of cheese on the ground in here. Take this cheese with you and exit the room. Head toward the top of the screen to a jail like wall of bars. On the bottom right of the bars will be hole you can walk through. Go through the hole then go left and go through an open door. Through this door you’ll find a Glitch collectible sitting next to a hole in the ground. Throw the cheese into the hole to earn this Trophy or Achievement.

 First Do No Harm

It’s crueller to let him live

Chapter 3

This is earned near the end of Chapter 3 when the doctor is chasing you. You’ll eventually lead him into a furnace where Six will lock him in. To the left of the furnace door is a switch. DO NOT pull it. Instead, you just interact with the elevator and leave the hospital. You have to leave him alive in order to earn this Trophy/Achievement. Pulling the lever will turn the furnace on and kill him. I know you probably don’t want to, but leave him alive.

 Sick Kids

Chapter 3

This is earned for collecting all four of the Glitches in Chapter 3. See “Hospitalised” for a video guide.


 Post Industrial

You punctuated someone’s day. Maybe they’ll notice!

Chapter 4

During Chapter 4, you’ll eventually make your way into a room full of stacked boxes with a lone TV on and a hole in the middle of the room. Jump down into the hole to land on some mail. Go left up the stack of mail and into a secret area to find a mailman’s hat. Pick it up and equip it.

Later on in the Chapter, you’ll be dropped into a big pile of trash. To the right in the pile will be a briefcase. Open it and take the package out. Carry the package all the way to the left to a door. Get close to the door and a hand will come out and take the package from you.

 Unladylike

Hello, have we met?

Chapter 4

During Chapter 4 you’ll eventually hang on a hanger that will slide above an alley way and drop you into a room. Once in here, turn around and climb out of the window you just came through. Climb out and on to the roof of the below balcony. Walk across the roof to a window to the left of the one you climbed through. Go through this window. In the middle of the room you’ll find a small glass statue next to a Glitch collectible. Pick up the statue and break it.

 Pale Kids

Chapter 4

This is earned by collecting all four Glitched collectibles in Chapter 4. See “Paled” for a video guide.


 Referee!

Unorthodox, but they all count!

Chapter 2

This is earned near the beginning of Chapter 2 outside of the school. Go up the steps of the school front door and pick up the hat on the dumpster. Then, equip the hat. Jump off the dumpster and run through the soccer goal to pop this.

 Mono Tones

My, what a curious song you play!

Chapter 2

This is earned near the end of Chapter 2. After escaping the school building, you’ll end up in a second building. You’ll eventually come to a room with a piano in it. All you have to do is jump up on to the piano keys and run back and forth on them. Run across the keys until the Trophy/Achievement pops.

 Bully of Bullies

Creative, efficient, brutal. Top of the class!

Chapter 2

This is earned in the first classroom encounter of Chapter 2. Sneak to the middle chair and then sprint into the next room. When you sprint, the class will chase you, so you’ll need to be quick. Run into the next room and climb up the bookshelf with the key on top. The bookshelf will start to tip over and will down. You need the bookshelf to fall and crush the kids that chased you. You’ll die too, but the Trophy/Achievement will be yours.

 Fly Free

Rebellion at its finest!

Chapter 2

This is earned near the beginning of Chapter 2 after climbing the sheet to get into the building. Run to the right and then go up and left into a room with beds. Pick up the paper airplane off the floor and then carry it back to the window you entered from. Throw the paper airplane out the same window for yet another easy Trophy/Achievement.

 True Colors

You never know when you need protection from the elements

Chapter 2

This is an unmissable story related Trophy/Achievement. You’ll unlock this toward the end of Chapter 2 when Six puts on a raincoat.


 School Kids

Nothing of us remains at the school

Chapter 2

This is earned for collecting all six glitches in Chapter 2.

 Fair Prey

It’s not murder if they’re bad people… is it?

Chapter 1

Once you enter the house, exit the kitchen and go left into another room to find a hat collectible on the floor. Pick up this hat and equip it. Leave it on for the rest of the Chapter until the Trophy/Achievement pops. After leaving the house, you’re going to be chased by a hunter with a gun. Eventually, you’ll end up in a shack. Go to the right in this shack and jump up to knock the shotgun down. It’ll fall on the floor and the hunter will burst through the door. Interact with the gun to shoot the hunter.

 Wild Kids

Chapter 1

This is earned for collecting all four Glitches in Chapter 1. See “Foraged” for a video guide.


 Twenty-Six

Relax, she heard you!

This is an accumulative Trophy/Achievement. All you have to do here is call out to Six Twenty-six times. You can do this over the course of the game, or you can just spam Triangle/Y.


 Medicine Ball

Any other last requests?

Chapter 3

This is earned in the cell with the electric chair in Chapter 3. You will eventually be surrounded and chased by mannequin like creatures while searching for the second electric fuse. This final chase will end with you in the electric chair room and a lot of arms reaching through the door on the left. Pick up the ball on the ground near the chair and go throw it at all of the arms sticking through the door reaching for you to pop this.

 What’s in the Box?!

What did you expect to see in there?

Chapter 1

This is earned immediately after entering the house in Chapter 1. As soon as you enter, walk over to the refrigerator, jump up and grab the handle of the refrigerator door to open it.

 Merciful Feat

Tempting, so tempting…

Chapter 2

This is earned somewhat near the middle of Chapter 2. You’ll eventually come to a room with a kid chained to the floor. All you have to do is not kill him. He’ll run at you but the chain will pull him back. When he falls back, you’ll have a few seconds to run past him and grab the item needed to smash through the door. Quickly grab the item near him and smash the door to exit. This will pop when exiting the room with the kid still alive.
