Welcome to the CrossfireX Achievement guide! Now, this is going to be a little different than a traditional Trophy or Achievement guide. This is more a heads up rundown of the list. This is due to the fact that the game’s Achievement list is very straight forward.
There is a single player campaign and multiplayer in CrossfireX. Unfortunately for Achievement hunters, there are only Achievements for the multiplayer. There are no Achievements tied to the campaign at the time of launch. It’s possible they get patched in at a later date, but that is currently unknown.
As for the Achievements that are here, there are only 12 of them to earn. Again, it’s possible that more get added down the road, but that is all there is at the time of launch.
Multiplayer Trophies and Achievements always come with the stink of difficulty or RNG, but that is fortunately not the case with CrossfireX. If you’re an online shooter fan, this should be well within your ability to 100%.
All you need to do here is play the game. That’s really all there is to it. This Achievement list all about getting kills and winning matches.
The wording for some achievements states “play x amount of maps.” All this means is to play a match, So, when it says to “play 100 maps.” that means you just need to play 100 matches. There are not 100 different maps for you to play on.
An Interesting Wrinkle
Although this may seem like an uninspired Achievement list, it actually does provide something interesting that hasn’t really been seen much before.
There are two Achievements for getting kills. You will need to get 10 and 50 kills to pop those. Pretty standard, right? Well, the interesting part about those is that if you get a headshot, that will count as two kills instead of one. It’s nothing revolutionary, but it’s different. There are Achievements for getting 10, 50 and 100 headshots, so aside from already trying to aim for headshots in an effort to win, you’re going to need to be aiming at the head for a big chunk of this Achievement list as well.
The unique two for one stipulation also counts in a different aspect.
There are three Achievements for playing matches. You’ll earn Achievements for completing 10, 50 and 100 matches. That’s something that can be a grind and take awhile, but there is a small way to speed this up. Every time you win a match, that will count as two matches played. So, unless you’re incredibly unlucky and lose 100 straight matches, you’ll likely unlock this Achievement before actually having to play 100 matches.
To round things out, a pseudo-Platinum Trophy can be found at the very bottom of the list. The final Achievement will be for completing all previous 11 Achievements. It should pop when you unlock the 11th Achievement. I only say “should” not because this game is glitched, but because these types of Achievements have been known to bug out.
This is a completely straight forward Achievement that shouldn’t pose too much of a challenge. Play the game and aim for headshots and you’ll be well on your way to another 1000G.
