Welcome to the Achievement guide for Halo Infinite’s campaign! The list as a whole is pretty obtainable. The majority of this list is divided up into story Achievements, collectible related Achievements and your standard open world completion Achievements. The end of the list is made up of a few miscellaneous Achievements.
Depending on your skill for your LASO run, this is a very obtainable list from top to bottom.
It is going to take multiple play throughs in order to complete. You will need to find all of the Skulls before you can activate them for your LASO run. Everything except the difficulty specific Achievements can be done on any difficulty you want and turning Skulls on does not disable Achievements.
Missables
Unfortunately, there are some missable Achievements. There is no chapter or mission select at the time of launch. So if you miss something, you’re going to need to play through again or wait for the game to updated with a mission select feature. A feature that has been confirmed to be coming eventually.
Luckily, there’s not a whole that can be missed. There are some collectibles that can be missed. The collectibles in the very beginning of the game before you enter the open world can be missed. When you exit the structure, it will be locked behind you. Fortunately, your collectibles will carry over across multiple play throughs.
Glitched Achievements…Kinda
The Achievements in Halo Infinite can sometimes glitch on you. However, all hope is not lost! If you complete an Achievement and it doesn’t pop, don’t worry. It will eventually pop as you continue to play. I had this happen to me several times. They will all pop over time. This has even been confirmed by the dev team.
We're investigating reports that some #HaloInfinite Achievements are unlocking on a slight delay. If you've completed the requirements for an Achievement, it will eventually unlock. Stay tuned for updates.

Headmaster
Complete all main missions on Legendary with all Skulls active.
Before you can attempt this, you will need to first collect all of the Skulls in a separate play through. Once you have them all, you will need to activate every single one of them and then complete the main campaign on Legendary.
For uninitiated, this is referred to as a LASO (Legendary All Skulls On) run.
Skulls found in Halo Infinite:
- Bandana – Unlimited weapon ammo, grenades and no cooldown timer for your abilities.
- Black Eye – Your Shield will only recharge when you melee an enemy.
- Blind – No HUD.
- Boom – Explosion radius is doubled.
- Catch – Enemies will throw and drop more grenades when killed.
- Cowbell – Acceleration speed from explosions is increased.
- Famine – Weapons dropped by enemies will only have half as much ammo. This is will not be a problem as the Bandanna Skull gives you infinite ammo.
- Fog – Motion tracker is disabled.
- Grunt Birthday Party – Headshots on Grunts will throw out some confetti.
- IWHBYD – You will hear rare dialog from enemies more commonly.
- Mythic – Enemies will have more health.
- Thunderstorm – Ranks up enemies.
The LASO run in Halo Infinite comes in a little easier than in previous Halo games as the Iron Skull is not in Halo Infinite. It will also benefit you that the Bandanna Skull is required which gives you infinite ammo.
Here are some general tips to make things as easy on yourself as possible.
- If you do this over multiple sessions, do not select “Continue” from the main menu. Instead, you’re going to want to select “Load” and load your LASO playthrough that way. Selecting “Continue” can actually turn off the Skulls.
- You will have no HUD, so you won’t know when you’ve gotten a checkpoint. The thing about checkpoints is that you can only get them when you have a full shield.
- So, to ensure you will receive a checkpoint, you should take out all of the enemies except for one. Make sure to leave something weak for last like a Grunt. Melee the last Grunt to recharge your shield and receive a checkpoint. This is very important because it is possible to lose hours worth of play time if you die.
- With no HUD, you won’t be able to see what grenade or ability you have equipped. Below are the button combinations for each one.
- Abilities
- Grappleshot –
,
- Threat Sensor –
,
- Drop Wall –
,
- Thrusters
,
- Grappleshot –
- Grenades
- Frag –
,
- Plasma –
,
- Spike –
,
- Dynamo –
,
- Frag –
- Abilities
- The Grappleshot + Plasma Sword is a very powerful combination to take advantage of. Shoot an enemy with the Grappleshot and then hit them with the sword. This will also count as a melee which will replenish your shield.
- You can spam your gear as there is no cooldown time due to the Bandanna Skull.
- Spamming the Threat Sensor will help you locate enemies.
- Collect what Spartan Cores you can to upgrade your Grappleshot to the point where it can stun enemies. You should also upgrade your Energy Shield.
- Keep your distance in firefights. There’s a lot of space on Zeta Halo, make sure to take advantage of it.

Thrusters On Full
Fully upgrade the Thruster ability.
There are five abilities that need to be upgraded. The abilities are upgraded by spending Spartan Cores. It will take nine Spartan Cores to fully upgrade an ability. So, that’s gonna run you 45 total Spartan Cores. There just so happens to be 45 total Spartan Cores in the game, so you’re going to need to find and collect them all in order to fully upgrade all of your gear.
Spartan Cores are found across the map. Spartan Core locations will be revealed on the map when you capture FOBs.
You won’t have all of the abilities at the start. You’ll automatically acquire them via the story as you progress through it.

- Energy Shield
- Threat Sensor
- Drop Wall
- Thruster
Impervious
Fully upgrade the Drop Wall ability.
See the “Thrusters on Full” Achievement above for more details.

See the “Thrusters on Full” Achievement above for more details.
Outpost Discovery
Complete a Banished outpost.
See the “Bunker Buster” Achievement below for more details.
Bunker Buster
Complete all seven Banished outposts.
There are seven outposts throughout the map. These are basically mini bases that you can encounter and clear out.
In order to “complete” an outpost, you’ll need to kill all of the enemies found at the outpost. You will also need to complete a few quick objectives at each outpost.
Reclaimer
Capture your first Forward Operating Base.
See the “Resurgency” Achievement below for more details.
Resurgency
Capture all available Forward Operating Bases.
Forward Operating Bases are small UNSC locations that you can use to select weapons, spawn vehicles and refill ammo. They also act as fast travel points.
In order to capture an FOB, you will need to kill all of the enemies there and then interact with a terminal on the FOB.
The FOBs will already be marked on your map when you enter a new region of Zeta Halo. These are pretty small and can be captured pretty quickly.
Who is Max Valor?
Complete all Valor-awarding activities.
In order to earn this, you’re going to need to completely clear the map of side objectives and main missions.
Valor are points that you can earn that will unlock weapons, gear and vehicles for you to use through out the game.
You can track your Valor and Valor related unlocks by pressing > FOB.
All of the Valor awarding activities are listed below.
- Clear out every Banished outpost. These will be marked on your map as the purple icons.
- Complete every UNSC Squad distress call. These will be marked on your map as blue UNSC objective markers.
- Destroy all 40 Propaganda Towers. These will become marked on your map by capturing FOBs.
- Complete all main story missions.
Capturing all of the FOBs do not count toward this, but you will need to capture them in order to earn the “Resurgency” Achievement. Capturing them will also reveal locations of other collectibles including the Propaganda Towers, which are needed for this.
As you work toward this, you will earn the following Achievements:
- Outpost Discovery
- Bunker Buster
- We’re On Our Way
- No One Left Behind
- Please Shut Up
- Off The Air
- All of the story related Achievements.
We’re On Our Way
Answer a UNSC distress call.
See the “Who is Max Valor” Achievement above for more details.
No One Left Behind
Answer all UNSC distress calls.
See the “Who is Max Valor” Achievement above for more details.
Headhunter
Eliminate a Banished High-Value Target.
See the “Bloodstars’ Bane” Achievement above for more details.
Bloodstars’ Bane
Eliminate all 15 Banished High-Value Targets.
As the description states, there are 15 different High-Value Targets to find and kill. They are spread out across Zeta Halo.
They will show up on your map as a red icon with a cross hair icon when you enter a new region of Zeta Halo.
All you have to do here is go to each of the red icons and kill the marked target and other enemies. As you approach the area where a target is, they will automatically be marked. They will have a health bar above them. Once you kill them, the activity won’t be complete until you also kill the rest of the enemies that are found at the marked location.
Dispatches From the Front
Access your first UNSC Audio Log.
There are many different kinds of collectibles in Halo Infinite. With that, there are also a lot of Achievements that are tied to collectibles.

Everything you need to find is listed below:
- UNSC Audio Logs
- Spartan Audio Logs
- Banished Audio Logs
- Spartan Cores
- Mjolnir Lockers
- Forerunner Artifacts
- Skulls
- Propaganda Towers
Audio Logs
Audio Logs are exactly what you think when you hear the term. These are recordings from various characters that will play when you pick them up in order to provide you with some background information and lore. The Audio Logs are the only collectible that do not show up on your map. These are usually found at FOBs, Banished Outposts, main story missions and other marked locations. A majority of them will be found at these marked locations, but there are still some that are found in the open world of Zeta Halo.
Spartan Cores
Spartan Cores are found in small chests. They are used for upgrading your gear. You will need all of them in order to fully upgrade everything. These will appear on your map when you capture an FOB.
Mjolnir Lockers
Mjolnir Lockers are lockers that will give you a cosmetic item that can be used when playing the multiplayer portion of Halo Infinite. These will appear on your map when you capture an FOB.
Forerunner Artifacts
Forerunner Artifacts are big circular structures that you scan. After scanning them they act similar to an audio log. These will show up on your map when you get near them.
Skulls
Skulls are literal skulls that are found throughout Zeta Halo. Each one is a game modifier that you can turn on in different playthroughs. These will show up on your map when you get near them.
Propaganda Towers
Propaganda Towers are towers that broadcast a grunt speaking, you guessed it, propaganda. Shoot them or use grenades on them to destroy them. They are usually guarded by enemies. These will appear on your map when you capture an FOB.

Gun Runner
Take down all three Banished AA guns in under 20 minutes.
As you progress through the story, you will eventually be shot down. You will then have three objective markers that take you to the three AA guns that you need to destroy.
These are the AA guns that you will need to destroy in 20 minutes or less.
There is a little bit of leeway here as the timer wont start until you destroy the first AA gun. So, you basically have 20 minutes to destroy the other two. Get to each one as quickly as you can. Skip the enemies on the way to each one and destroy them as quick as you can.
Spam your Grappleshot to traverse and dodge enemies quickly. Two of the of the AA gun locations will require you to interact with a console in order to activate the gravity lift. You can press to scan for their location. It will show up highlighted as yellow. Put down a Drop Wall before interacting with the console. You don’t want to take too much damage and die. Outside of using the Drop Walls to turn on the gravity lifts, make sure to throw one down if you’ve taken too much damage on your way to the locations and need to take cover and replenish your shield.
Forza Veloce
Complete all 14 main missions in under eight hours.
I know speed run Achievements can be stressful, but that won’t be the case here.
For this, you’re going to want to only focus on completing the story missions. Those will always be the yellow objective markers on your map. You’re going to want to skip the side objectives with the exception of some FOBs.
You can quickly capture an FOB if it’s on your path to whatever story objective you’re headed to. These are small, so they can be captured rather quickly. These act as fast travel points, so that will help you cut down on travel time. Just don’t go too far out of your way for them. Like previously mentioned, if there is one on the path that you’re traveling, quickly capture it.
You can also play on any difficulty. So, you can switch this to easy to make things much easier on you. You can also use Skulls. They will not void this Achievement.
Eight hours is a pretty generous time limit. It’s way more than enough especially if you’re playing on easy and/or using Skulls.
Passing the Gas
Kill a Grunt that’s been thrown by a Brute.
Every so often in enemy encounters, there will be suicide Grunts that area holding two live plasma grenades. If you’re too close, they’ll run toward you and explode. So, when you see them. back up and get some distance from them. If there is a Brute in the enemy group, they’ll pick up the suicidal Grunt and throw it at you.
In order to earn this, you need to kill the Grunt that the Brute throws at you.
I was able to get this at the Bluebell Squad icon. A ship drops off a suicidal Grunt and Brute when defending the squad.
Nosebleed
Check out the best possible view.
In order to earn this, you’re going to reach the highest point on Zeta Halo. This is a mountain that can be accessed when your story objective is “Investigate the Banished Dig Site.” This mountain on the western side of the area.
There is actually a side mission on this mountain called “Foxhound Squad.” The Achievement point is just a little bit higher than Foxhound. Keep climbing until this pops.
Those Wonderful Toys
Successfully use the Grappleshot 50 times.
You will begin the game with the Grappleshot in your inventory. All you have to do is press in order to use it. As long as the wire doesn’t break when shot, it’ll count as a use.
There will be a short cooldown time after using it, but this can be earned very quickly in the first mission if you’d like to get it out of the way early.
When you have other gear later in the game, you will need to press and then
again to equip it if you have something else equipped.
Aegis Fate
Deploy the Drop Wall 50 times.
You will be given the Drop Wall as part of the story during Connections when inside of the Conservatory.
Press and then
to select the Drop Wall. Press
to use it. This deploy a small shield in front of you to give you some cover.
All-Seeing I
Use the Threat Sensor 50 times.
You will be given the Threat Sensor as part of the story during Lockdown when inside of the Tower.
Press and then
to select it. Press
to use it. This will reveal any enemies if they are inside of the Threat Sensor radius.
Run Rabbit, Run
Use the Thruster 50 times.
You will be given the Thruster ability as part of the story during Connections when inside of the Conservatory.
Press and then
to select it. Press
to use it. You’ll be able to boost in whatever direction you’re going when using it.
Whip-Riding the Ghost
Use the Grappleshot to board an enemy Ghost.
As you explore the open world of Zeta Halo, you’ll eventually come across enemy Ghosts. For this, just aim at the Ghost and shoot it with the Grappleshot. You’ll be pulled to it and will hijack it.
After hijacking the Ghost, make sure to go run over an enemy with it and you’ll also earn the “Takes One to Make One” Achievement.
Wait, I Can Throw Those?
Throw 50 fusion coils.
Fusion coils can be found immediately as you take control of Master Chief. There are multiple kinds of them to find and throw. These can be used to kill enemies. All you have to do is pick them up by holding and then throw them with
.
They look like what is pictured below, but they can come in many different colors. These are commonly found across Zeta Halo.
Bring Shiela Home Safely
Get the Scorpion all the way to the “House” without it blowing up.
This is earned during the story mission “The Road.” There’s a Scorpion near the beginning of this level. For this, you will need to keep that tank alive until the end of the mission. You can drive the tank through the entire mission, but you’ll be facing a lot of enemies and it may not make it the whole way.
You can actually leave the Scorpion behind and clear out the path on foot or with other vehicles. There are other vehicles near the Scorpion that you can use to clear out the path. There’s even a Wraith parked nearby. Just don’t go all the way to the end. You will eventually get to a second gate. Go through the gate and extend the bridge. Now, you can go back to the Scorpion and drive it safely to the end of the mission with the cleared out path. Just remember to not cross that bridge without the tank.
Takes One to Make One
Splatter an enemy with a Ghost.
Ghost’s can be found throughout Zeta Halo. All you have to do is drive one and run over an enemy. These are usually found around bases, but you will encounter them somewhat often while making your way across Zeta Halo.
Wars with Friends
Bring some rescued UNSC Marines along for the ride into a main mission.
First, you will need to rescue some UNSC Marines. This can be done by capturing FOBs and by liberating captured squads throughout Zeta Halo.
Once you have some rescued Marines, go to an FOB and call in a vehicle. Get in the vehicle and honk the horn to get nearby NPCs to get in your vehicle. When they’re all in, drive to story objective and play it.
This may be slightly glitched in a good way as this popped for me by accident. I had one Marine NPC in a Razorback and this popped as I drove near the Tower en route to another objective. The Tower was a story location that I had already completed. So, this may count by simply visiting a story location after it’s completed with at least one Marine.
Wanna Have a Catch?
Stick 50 enemies with grenades.
All you have to do here is throw grenades at enemies and have the grenades hit and stick to the enemies.
There are two grenade types that can stick to enemies. The plasma grenades and the Brute grenades will stick to enemies.
You’ll clearly know when you’ve stuck an enemy as you can see the grenade and the enemy will noticeably react to it.
A True Test of Legends
Complete all main campaign missions on Legendary difficulty.
See the “Headmaster” Achievement for more details.
Is there an achievement for completing the campaign with 0 ability upgrades?
There is not
Do you recommend any specific way to unlock all achievements in a strategic way? For example, should I start my first play through on heroic difficulty, unlock all collectibles, defeat all bases, etc. then move onto legendary? Or perhaps you have a full video guide and/or walkthrough on the best approach? I’ve been searching YouTube and the best I could find are specific achievements, not a full guide. Thanks.
It really depends on how efficient you wanna be with it. Doing everything on Heroic and then moving to Legendary is probably the best way to do it. You could also knock it down to lower difficulties to get all of the miscellaneous stuff out of the way super quick. Whatever you think is best!
