Welcome to the Bright Memory: Infinite Trophy & Achievement Guide!
- 4/10 Estimated Difficulty
- 4-6 Estimated Hours to completion
- 1 Playthrough + Chapter replays
- 0 Missable – Everything can be cleaned up via Chapter Select post game.
As you may have seen, this list will not take very long to finish. The game is very short. You will only need one full playthrough and it is recommended that you do this on “Revenge” difficulty. Not only is there a Trophy/Achievement tied to it, but you will need to beat it in order to unlock the “Hell” difficulty which also has a Trophy/Achievement tied to it. There are two difficulty related Trophies/Achievements, but you can actually play the final chapter on “Hell” and beating that will pop the Trophy/Achievement tied to it.
There are a number of Trophies/Achievements tied to getting a certain amount of kills for each weapon in the game. The game isn’t long enough to get all of these done in a single playthrough, so you’re going to need to replay chapters in order to farm enough kills. The totals may seem like a lot, but they go by quickly. There are a lot of enemies and the combat is fast paced, so those Trophies/Achievements will not take long to knock out.
Buggy
The Trophies/Achievements all popped just fine and exactly when they were supposed to. But the game itself does not seem to be very stable at the time of launch. It is highly recommended that you keep regular back up saves just in case you run into bugs with the game. The game can crash and corrupt your save data. So, back up your saves on a regular basis just in case. I will say that it ran fine for me, but there are reports out there of these crashes.

Infinite
Clear the game on “Hell” difficulty
“Hell” will not be available from the start. You’re going to need to beat the game on “Revenge” difficulty in order to unlock “Hell”. Play through and beat the game on “Revenge”. There are a few tricky moments, but once you get the hang of the game and the mechanics, it really is not that difficult. It’s also a pretty short game. It can be finished in under three hours. There are only a handful of chapters with actual combat and even then your weapons and abilities can make quick work of the enemies.
You can use the same strategy against every boss. Stay away from them, stick to the perimeters of the arenas, use your /
dodge to evade their attacks, use
/
to block some of their attacks if you’re in too close and always keep moving. The bosses are pretty spongey, so stay on the move while emptying rounds into them. If you’re low on health, hold your block until your health starts to regen. The secondary fire on your weapons is also very effective against the bosses. The sniper rifle secondary ammo is particularly very powerful and helpful so be sure to use it.
As for “Hell”, it is the hardest difficulty in the game. However, this Trophy/Achievement can be earned by loading up the final chapter, setting the difficulty to “Hell” and beating it. You do not have to play through the whole game to pop this.
Battle-hardened
Sever 50 enemy limbs using weapons or skills
See the “Matchless Warrior” Trophy/Achievement below for more details.
Matchless Warrior
Sever 100 enemy limbs using weapons or skills
As you shoot and kill enemies, your shots will also be dismembering them. This is something that will unlock naturally without having to go out of your way as you play through the game. 100 might sound like a lot, but this should pop fairly early on in the game.
The Heat is On
Defeat 20 enemies using flame-type weapons or skills
The easiest way to earn this is to use the secondary fire with the shotgun. Press to switch to secondary ammo while the shotgun is equipped.
This one is a little tricky, the enemy has to be killed as a result of fire and not as a result of the actual bullets. The easiest way to pull this off is to shoot at the ground just a step in front of where the enemy is standing. They will catch on fire and then die quickly after. Remember, do not shoot the enemy directly. Aim for the ground near them and let the fire kill them.
None Shall Survive
Kill 15 people without being spotted by the enemy in the infiltration mission in “Surrounded”
The beginning of the mission “Surrounded” will be the stealth section required for this Trophy/Achievement. There are 18 enemies, but you’ll only be able to kill 15 of them as there is a group of three that stand around together. So, you’re going to want to skip them. It’s not a very difficult section. All you really have to do is wait for an enemy to turn around, then crouch walk up behind them and press R2/RT to perform the stealth kill.
There will be two sections where you will need to hide behind big boulders to avoid being seen by a flying enemy. You’ll be told when to do this over the radio, so you shouldn’t have any issues with it. Your hiding locations will also be marked on your HUD.
It’s not a very difficult section. All you really have to do is wait for an enemy to turn around, then crouch walk up behind them and press /
to perform the stealth kill. If you’re spotted, exit to the main menu and select “Surrounded” from the Scene Selector to try again. There will be a meter on screen that’ll tell you if you’re spotted. If it turns red, you’ve been spotted. Yellow is okay, but you’ll need to quickly hide before it fills up.
- There are three enemies in the first section after climbing under the log. Exit the area and you’ll be told to quickly hide. Hide behind the boulder straight ahead of you and wait for the vehicle in the air to pass by.
- There is one enemy straight ahead of you when you come out from behind the boulder.
- After taking out the previous enemy, turn around and there are two enemies speaking to each other. Hide nearby and wait for the conversation to end. One of the enemies will turn around and walk away. Take out the stationary enemy and then take out the enemy that walked away.
- The next area will be a small field broken up into three rows. There will be an enemy in each of the rows. The enemy in the middle row will be facing the opposite direction than the other two and they will all be on a fixed patrol route up and down the rows. You can hide in the tall grass that separates the rows and you will not be seen. Kill the three enemies in this section.
- Exit the field and it’ll be time to hide behind another boulder to let the vehicle in the air pass by.
- After hiding, there will be two enemies in this area. The far enemy will be stationary facing away from you and the other will be walking from the left to the right. Kill the walking enemy first and then get the stationary enemy next.
- Continue on the path and double jump into the half destroyed house. Crouch under the rubble and you’ll see the next area.
- This next area will have a group of three enemies on the ground. Two will be to the left and the other will join them from the right. Leave this group alone.
- Exit the house and go to your immediate right and jump up to a walkway. There will be an enemy at the end of the walkway so stay crouched and wait for him to turn around. Kill him once he turns around.
- Follow the path to ward the objective marker and take an immediate right when it leads back to the street. Take another immediate right to jump up to another platform with a white arrow on it. Follow this briefly to another jump point.
- There will be three final enemies in this next building area. The one closest to you will have his back to you. There will be another enemy on the right patrolling the outside and one further ahead in the same house that will see you, so wait for him to turn around before killing the stationary enemy nearest you. Quickly get back out of sight before the enemies turn back around. Kill these final two enemies to pop this Trophy/Achievement.
Extreme Skills
Activate “Counter” 50 times
See the “Invulnerable” Trophy/Achievement below for more details.
Invulnerable
Activate “Counter” 100 times
“Activating” a counter is when you block an attack by pressing /
right before the attack hits you. This is more easily done against the ancient warrior type enemies. Their attacks are melee based and the attacks themselves are slower which makes them easier to read and counter than against other enemy types.
Eagle-eye
Use “Defend” to deflect 20 enemy bullets
Holding /
while an enemy is shooting at you will deflect the bullets. This seems to only count the rounds you deflect that hit enemies. You can stand in front of enemies and hold deflect and just about everything that is shot will be deflected. Try to stand directly in front of an enemy to deflect the shots directly back at them.
Trophy/Achievement aside, this is a very helpful mechanic, so be sure to use it regularly. As long as you use this frequently, it shouldn’t take very long to pop.
Peerless Warrior
Defeat 80 enemies using any skill
See the “Herculean Strength” Trophy/Achievement below for more details.
Herculean Strength
Defeat 150 enemies using any skill
For this, you can use any of the unlockable skills to get kills. Your skills are used by pressing /
. Just like with the weapon related Trophies/Achievements below, you can quickly and easily knock this out by replaying the chapter “Changes”. Run through the level and just mash
/
killing all of the enemies you come across using your skills.
While you’re farming kills for this, make sure that you are picking up the Reliquaries in whatever chapter you’re playing in order to chip away at the “Get Richer” Trophy/Achievement.
AR Silver
Defeat 80 enemies using your assault rifle
See the “AR Gold” Trophy/Achievement below for more details.
AR Gold
Defeat 150 enemies using your assault rifle
All you need to do for the weapon specific Trophies/Achievements is use them to get kills. This does not need to be done in a single playthrough. You can farm kills be replaying checkpoints. The quickest way to farm kills is to replay through the “Change” chapter on easy.
- Assault Rifle – The assault rifle will be the weapon you start the game with.
- Shotgun – You’ll get this during the level “Change”.
- Handgun – You’ll get this during the level “Surrounded”.
- Sniper Rifle – You’ll get this during the level “Surrounded”.
While you’re farming kills for these, make sure that you are picking up the Reliquaries in whatever chapter you’re playing in order to chip away at the “Get Richer” Trophy/Achievement.

Bullseye
Destroy 5 enemy vehicles with missiles during the car chase
This is earned during the chapter called “Close Call”.
There is a section of the chapter where you will be driving a car. The car will have a mounted missile launcher that you can use by pressing /
. The missiles you shoot will automatically go after the enemy cars. So, you don’t have to be super accurate with your shots.
This section isn’t very long and there are only five enemy cars to fire at. That might sound stressful, but don’t worry. You do not have to get all five kills in a single run. Your kills will carry over across multiple playthroughs of the chapter. Example: If you get three kills on your first time through, you can load up the chapter and get the remaining two needed kills and this will pop.
Get Rich
Acquire 20 “Reliquaries”
See the “Get Richer” Trophy/Achievement below for more details.
Get Richer
Acquire 50 “Reliquaries”
Reliquaries are green statues that can be found throughout the chapters of the game. These are a currency used for unlocking skills and for leveling them up as well.
In order to earn this, you’re going to need to pick up 50 of them. You are given a Reliquary for every 10 relics you collect, but these ones do not appear to count toward your total for this Trophy/Achievement.
Oddly enough, there are not 50 of these to collect in a single playthrough. So, in order to get this, you’re going to have to replay chapters and collect these until this pops. The chapters are very linear, so that makes finding these pretty easy. They are not well hidden. The majority of them will be within sight as you’re progressing through the chapters.
Unfortunately, you cannot farm these by reloading checkpoints. Once you pick one up, it will be gone until you start the chapter over via the scene selection in the main menu.
As you’re farming kills for weapons and skills, make sure to also pick up Reliquaries from whatever level you’re using to farm. The chapter “Change” has six and the chapter “Surrounded” has seven. These are the quickest to run through and collect.
Get Richest
Acquire 100 “Relics”
Relics are a blue orb floating item that can be earned by killing enemies. After killing an enemy, the Relic will automatically come to you and be acquired. They can also be picked up by destroying the brown boxes found throughout the environment. This is something that will pop naturally while playing through the game and completing the rest of this list as a lot of kills are required.
You will be given a Reliquary for every 10 relics you find. These however, do not seem to count toward your total for “Get Richer“.
