Welcome to the PowerWash Simulator Trophy & Achievement Guide! If you think this simulator game will be a quick list to complete, you’re gonna be mistaken. The Trophies/Achievements themselves are fairly easy, but the game will require a lot of time to get through.
- 4/10 Estimated Difficulty
- 45-55 Estimated Hours to completion
- 1 Playthrough of Career Mode + Challenges + Possible Job Replays if needed
- 0 Missable – Everything can be cleaned up via Free Play
Career Mode
To start, you’re going to want to begin Career Mode. Career Mode is where you will be spending the majority of your time in PowerWash Simulator. You will need to fully complete each job in order to progress through the entire career. The miscellaneous Achievements can all be earned during your first pass of the career. Completing jobs in career mode will also unlock them for Free Play and challenges. There is nothing needed in Free Play Achievement wise, but you can use it to clean up any miscellaneous Achievements if you happen to miss any during career mode.
Playing through career mode while earning five stars on each level and picking up the miscellaneous Trophies/Achievements will earn you the majority of the Trophies/Achievements in this game.
Star Killer
Another aspect of career mode is earning stars. You can earn a maximum of five stars per job. Not only are there Trophies/Achievements tied to earning stars, but you will need to earn stars in order to unlock more jobs and equipment in the store. In order to fully earn five stars on a level, all you have to do is completely clean the job to 100%.
As you get into the high nineties of job completion percentage, it’ll likely look like everything is clean. Don’t worry, it’s not a glitch. There are often very small patches of dirt in hard to see areas. You can make this last bit easier by going to your task list. Your task list will show you all of the objects that need to be cleaned on a job and which ones are fully completed. You can select incomplete objects and they will then be highlighted in the environment letting you know what needs to be cleaned.

Powerful Pressure Purist
Completely clean the Van using only the red nozzle
The Van job is the very first job of Career Mode.
All you have to do is here is fully clean the entire van by only using the 0 Degree Nozzle. You cannot use any other nozzles during the job. You can use any of the Power Washers, you just can’t use other nozzles.
When the job starts, the red nozzle will not be equipped. So make sure to equip before you start spraying.
Press to auto spray and just work your way across the van until it is fully cleaned.
It is also important to note that the Prime Vista PRO Triple Tip Nozzle will not count for this Achievement.
If you miss this during Career Mode, it can be earned in Free Play.
First Steps
In the Backyard, complete all 12 stepping stones first
The Backyard will be the second job unlocked in Career Mode.
The stepping stones you need to clean are the stones on the ground that lead to the gate. This is to the left of the red house next to the dog house. All you need to do is clean each of the stones before you clean anything else on the job. You only need to focus on the stones. Do not clean the bricks that line the path until after this pops.
If you’re having trouble deciding what you need to clean, press / Options and select the parts of the job that are named in the Achievement description and they will be highlighted.
If you mess up, you can replay this job in Free Play and try again.
StegoScore
In the Playground, roll the football up the stegoslide
This job is unlocked after completing the second job in Career Mode.
For this, you will need to push the soccer ball/football found in the playground up the stegosaurus slide.
You can push the ball by spraying it with your washer. Push it to the head of the stegosaurus and then up it. It can be a little tricky to get the ball set up correctly. If you’re having issues controlling the ball, try using the washer in spurts instead of constant stream of water.
You’re going to need to get some momentum and speed going with the ball in order to get the ball up the small step and onto the playground.
If you’re having trouble getting the ball onto the slide, you can grab your step stool and place it next to the head of the slide to stop the ball and keep it lined up.
Once you get the ball on the slide, it’s going to be a little tricky to get it up and over. So lay down prone and continuously spray the ball until it goes over the top.
If you miss this during Career Mode, it can be earned in Free Play.
Gutted
Complete the Bungalow gutters last
The Detached House job will become available shortly into the Career Mode.
For this, you’re going to need to completely every object on the house except for the gutters. You must save the gutters for the very end. They have to be the object that you clean last.
Carefully clean the roof edges near the gutters and behind the gutters. There will be dirt on that counts toward cleaning the walls directly behind the gutters that run vertically up the house. Angle your spray just right so that you’re spraying behind the gutters from the side to clean the last bits of the walls.
Don’t worry if you spray them by accident a little bit while cleaning the house. The Achievement is only void if you full complete one of them, so some splash damage on them is okay. Don’t forget to clean the insides of the gutters by standing on the roof and looking down into them.
If you miss this during Career Mode, it can be earned in Free Play.
Pave the Way
In the Detached House, complete the Pathway, Driveway and Driveway Edges first
The Detached House job will become available shortly into the Career Mode.
Before cleaning anything else on the job, you have to clean the pathway up to the door, the driveway and the edges of the driveway first. The edges are the bricks that line the sides of the driveway.
- Driveway x1
- Driveway Edges x2
- Pathway x1
If you’re having trouble deciding what you need to clean, press / Options and select the parts of the job that are named in the Achievement description and they will be highlighted.
If you miss this during Career Mode, it can be earned in Free Play.
Sole Task
Complete the sole of the Shoe House last
The Shoe House job will become available shortly into the Career Mode.
For this, you’re going to want to clean everything on the shoe house except for the very bottom of the shoe. Go through your task list and clean everything to 100% except for the sole. You must clean the sole last.
- Sole x1
While cleaning other other parts of the shoe house you may end up cleaning small bits of the sole indirectly. That’s okay. This will still pop as long as the sole is not marked as complete. You can have a percentage of it semi completed. Don’t worry about that.
Before cleaning the sole, go through your list and make sure everything is marked “Cleaned!” except for the sole. The sole should be the only thing left with a percentage.
If you miss this during Career Mode, it can be earned in Free Play.
Tall Order
Completely clean the Fire Station job without standing on the scaffolding
The Fire Station Job will become available in Career Mode as you progress through it.
There will be two structures that you need to clean on this job. The main firehouse and then a training tower behind the main building.
For this, you will need to completely clean everything here without using the scaffolding found next to the training tower. Do not go near the scaffolding at all. Just stay away from it as going under it may be counted as a “use”. Also, do not pick it up to move it. Picking up the scaffolding is enough to void the Achievement. Just stay away from it and do not interact with it at all.
Cleaning the main building without the scaffolding is very simple. You can use the ladder to reach the roof.
Unfortunately, you cannot use the ladder on the training tower. The outside of the tower will be the trickiest part. You wont be able to climb up the outside. You’ll be able to clean the inside fairly easily as there are stairs inside of the tower.
For the outside, you can buy the Prime Vista 3000 power washer or the Prime Vista Pro and use the long or extra long nozzle attachments. You can actually reach most of the outside of the tower from the ground with those attachments and sprayers.
Spray what you can from the ground and make sure to spam in order to highlight any dirt you may have missed.
For the higher spaces, you can go to the top, stand on the ledge and look down to spray some of what you couldn’t reach from below. It is also possible to stand and crouch on the ledges of the windows of the tower to spray harder to reach areas.
There is no fall damage so you wont die if you fall. While on the ledges of the roof and windows, inch your way out to see how far you can go. You can also go prone while on the ledges to get a different vantage point.
If you miss this during Career Mode, it can be earned in Free Play.
Watermelon Shot
In the Skatepark, push the ball out of the bowl
The Shoe House job will become available in Career Mode as you progress through it.
There is a soccer/football in one of the empty bowls. All you need to do is use your washer to push it out of the bowl that it is in.
It can be a little tricky to control the ball, but you can get leverage underneath it to get it out of the bowl by laying prone right behind it. Lay right behind it and use the red nozzle to push it. As it moves away from you, crawl toward it while continuing to spray to stay close and push it out.
I Can See Clearly Now
Complete the Fire Truck windows, windscreen and wing mirrors first
The Fire Truck job will eventually become available as you progress through Career Mode.
Before you clean anything, you will need to clean the following items first:
- Windscreen x2 – These are found on the very front of the fore truck.
- Windows x6 – There are three windows found on each side of the front of the truck.
- Wing Mirrors x2 – These are the side mirrors at the front of the truck. There are two of these. One on each side of the truck.
This is mostly easy to complete, but you will need to be very careful when cleaning the windscreens on the front. There are two windshield wipers that are very small and wont take much to be completely cleaned and mess this up. When cleaning near the wipers, go slow, don’t use a constant stream, and tap the spray to take as much dirt off as you can. You can also change the angle of the spray with to clean around them as close as you can without hitting the wipers too much.
If you miss this during Career Mode, it can be earned in Free Play.

This doesn’t really make the job too much harder, but there are a few smaller parts that can be a pain to clean while it is on.
If you miss this during Career Mode, it can be earned in Free Play.
Gnome Sweet Gnome
In the Temple, ensure the gnome is on the tower roof once the job is complete
The Temple job will eventually become available as you progress through Career Mode.
The gnome can be found at the very top of the Temple. In order to get this, that gnome will have to remain at the top of the Temple as you finish the level. It doesn’t have to stay at the top for the duration of the job, it just has to be there when you complete the job.
The gnome itself does not need to be cleaned, but the area underneath it is dirty and does need to be cleaned. So you’re going to have to move it in order to clean everything on the job.
It sounds a little more complicated than it actually is, but there is a very easy way to earn this.
Clean the gnome’s area completely. If it falls down, don’t worry. Continue cleaning the entire job but leave one last object at 99%. Quit out of the game completely and then continue your job in progress and when the game reloads, the gnome will automatically spawn back at the top. Clean whatever object you left at 99% to complete the level and pop this.
If you miss this during Career Mode, it can be earned in Free Play.
Delaying the Inevitable
In the Washroom, complete the toilets last
The Washroom job will eventually become available as you progress through Career Mode.
This can be a little tricky as there are multiple parts of the toilets that mat or may not count for this. Fortunately, there is a way to ensure that you can pop it.
Clean everything in the washroom except for the toilets, toilet seats and toilet lids. There are four toilets on the job. There is one in each stall. Carefully clean around them. There are some hard to reach areas around and behind the toilets. Slowly clean around them. Using the red nozzle in these areas will help avoid accidentally spraying the toilet parts.
Your last three incomplete objects to clean should be the the following:
- Toilet Lids x4
- Toilet Seats X4
- Toilets X4
Make sure that you clean those items in the order listed above.

You will need to clean the entire hand only using the white nozzle. This is the 40 Degree Nozzle. Do not use any other nozzle on this job. You can use the extensions you’ve bought. The extensions will not void the Achievement
If you miss this during Career Mode, it can be earned in Free Play.
All Hands on Deck
Complete the Fishing Boat decks and steps first
The Fishing Boat job will eventually become available as you progress through Career Mode.

Clean the objects listed below:
For the Bow and Main Deck, carefully clean the edges where the floor meets the walls or other objects. The red nozzle is best for this. Use it in spurts and don’t hold it down when cleaning the edges. You’ll likely end up with just a sliver of progress left for both of these. Super Star
Earn 150 Stars in Career Mode
There are 190 stars in total during Career Mode.
You earn stars by reaching certain completion percentages on jobs. In order to reach five stars on a job, you will need to complete the job to 100%.
If you’re nearing the end of a job and don’t know what else to clean, press / Options and look through your task list. The task list will list everything that you need to clean on a job. It will also have percentages on each item that will tell you how close something is to being completed. You can go through the list and select an incomplete item and it will then be highlighted in the environment. In addition to that, you can press
and it will highlight any remaining dirt in the environment.
Good Dings to Come
Clean 95% of any job without completing any tasks
This one can be a little tricky. You’re going to need to reach 95% overall completion without completing any of the tasks. If you’re cleaning and you hear a the ding for a fully completed task, you’ll need to start over and try again.
The overall completion is the percentage in the top left corner of the screen. This will pop once you hit 95% as long as none of the tasks are complete.
The quickest job to get this done is on the Penny Farthing job. It is a small job, so the percentage can add up quickly. However, there are a lot of small parts that you will need to watch out for.
When doing the Penny Farthing job, use the Zero Degree Nozzle and shoot it in spurts. Do not hold down the spray or else you might complete a task by accident. Spam to reveal the dirt location so you know where to spray. Also, be sure to check your task list frequently so that you know how close you are to completing a task. Once tasks start to get into the 90’s, you’re going to need to very careful and very deliberate on where you spray.
If you’re having issues with the Penny Farthing job, the Ancient Monument job is another good one to try. Although it will take a bit longer. There are bigger pieces on that job that make it easier to avoid accidental task completions.
Head First
Complete the Drill head and tip first
The Drill job will eventually become available as you progress through Career Mode.
All you have to do here is clean the front of the drill first before cleaning anything else. The drill tip is the very end of the drill itself.
If you miss this during Career Mode, it can be earned in Free Play.
Going for Gold
Get one gold medal in Challenge Mode
See the Achievement “Gold Standard” below for more details.
Gold Standard
Get five gold medals in Challenge Mode
There are two different types of challenges. Water and timed. Your gold medals don’t have to be from the same challenge type either. For example, you could get three timed gold medals and two water gold medals and the Achievement will pop.
The jobs in challenge mode will not become available until you have completed that job in career mode.
For the water challenges, you will need to complete the job without going over a set limit of water usage. For these, you’re going to want to take it very slow. Spray deliberately and do not hold the spray down for too long. There is no time limit these, so you can take as long as you need to. Highlight any hard to see incomplete objects on the jobs by using your task list.
Obviously, you’re going to want to try and go as quickly as you can for the timed challenges. You will need to complete the jobs under a certain time limit. As soon as the job begins, switch to the yellow nozzle and press to turn on the auto spray. Quickly move through the job continuously spraying and mashing
to reveal the location of any dirt. Keep the dirt highlighted as much as possible so you know where you need to spray and where you don’t.
If you need to change nozzles, press / Touchpad and this will stop the time. The time will still run when using the weapon wheel, so avoid using that. You can also cycle through the nozzles by pressing
/
while the countdown timer is still going to begin the level.
Specialist
Complete a Special Job
At the time of launch, there are four Special jobs available. These are unlocked from the very start and can be chosen immediately from the main menu.
