Fallout 4: Automatron Trophy Guide & Roadmap

Automatron trophy guide and roadmap

Welcome to the Fallout 4: Automatron Trophy Guide and Roadmap! Automatron is a DLC pack for Fallout 4.

  • 2/10 Estimated Difficulty
  • 3 – Estimated Hours to Completion
  • 1 – Minimum Play-through
  • 0 – Missable Trophies/Achievements
  • 0 – Difficulty Related Trophies
  • 0 – Online Trophies

This is a very short piece of downloadable content. The Trophies/Achievements can be completed very quickly as well. In order to begin, you’ll need to be at least level 15. Then, tune your Pip-Boy radio to the Caravan Distress Frequency.

Fortunately, nothing here is missable. You do not need to play the missions in a specific order or reload saves. There are four missions as part of this DLC and they can all be completed one after the next. The only thing to keep in mind here would be to loot every robot you kill. You’re going to need their mods for two Trophies/Achievements.

Hacking terminals, finding magazines, picking locks and killing enemies during this DLC all count toward the base game Trophies/Achievements.

Mechanical Menace

Complete “Mechanical Menace”

This is a story related Trophy/Achievement.

In order to begin this quest, you’ll need to be at least level 15. Then, tune your Pip-Boy radio to the Caravan Distress Frequency. Listen to it and the location will then be marked on your map. Go to the location and kill the robots. Speak to Ada afterward to complete the quest as well as gain Ada as a companion. Ada will count toward the companion Trophy if you do not yet have at least 5.

Headhunting

Complete “Headhunting”

This is a story related Trophy/Achievement.

Headhunting is the third quest in the Automatron quest line. You will need to complete “A New Threat” first before being given this quest.

Restoring Order

Complete “Restoring Order”

This is a story related Trophy/Achievement.

Restoring Order will begin automatically after finishing “Headhunting.” You’ll need to take Ada with you for this and you should also wear Power Armor. You’re going to be fight a lot of robots during this quest.

Robot Hunter

Unlock 10 Robot Mods

Robot mods are unlocked by looting them off of robots you have killed. They will be labeled as different robot parts. Make sure to loot every robot you kill and you’ll pick up more than 10 rather quickly. If you don’t have this done by the time you play the “Restoring Order” quest, you’ll likely get during that. There are a lot of robots that you need to kill during that quest.

The Most Toys

Build 10 Robot Mods

Robot mods are the different parts you can apply to a robot you build at a Robot Workbench. You’ll have to build one of these as part of the Automaton DLC story.

This is best done after you have completed the four story missions. That way you’ll have collected more crafting material and you’ll have plenty of robot mods unlocked from looting. Either build a new robot or use Ada. Apply 10 different mods to the robot of your choice in order to unlock this Trophy/Achievement.
