Welcome to the Fallout 4: Wasteland Workshop Trophy Guide & Roadmap

  • 2 /10 Estimated Difficulty
  • 1 – 5 – Estimated Hours to Completion – Dependent on how many resources you have. Could take even longer.
  • 1 – Minimum Play-throughs
  • 0 – Missable Trophies/Achievements
  • 0 – Difficulty Related Trophies
  • 0 – Online Trophies

The first thing to know about this piece of downloadable content is that there are no new quests. This DLC only pertains to settlement building.

Completing the three Trophies/Achievements below is going to cost you a lot of building resources. So, you may want to make a separate save file before doing these. That way you can reload afterwards to get your resources back if you want or need them.

Because this Trophy/Achievement list requires so many resources, you may want to work on other DLC or base game stuff first. Make sure to collect as much junk for materials as you can as well as the animal meat listed below. Store it all at a settlement workshop as you reach your weight capacity. Just keep looting and storing as you work on other parts of the game and come back to this later on when you have enough to get it all done. In addition to collecting resources, you will also need to have unlocked the first rank of both the “Animal Friend” and “Wasteland Whisperer” perks for “Docile.”

Docile

Have 5 Tamed Creatures in a Settlement

The wording for this Trophy/Achievement is incorrect. What you need to do is have 5 tamed creatures at the same time at the same settlement.

Before this can be attempted, you will need to the following perks:

  • Animal Friend – Rank 1
  • Wasteland Whisperer – Rank 1

You will also need to be at Charisma rank 9 in order to purchase the above perks.

This is easiest done with small animals. For this guide, we’re gonna use Mutant Hounds. This also has to be done with animals that would attack you. So, cats and dogs will not work.

You’re also going to need the following materials for everything:

5 Mutant Hound Cages

  • 30 Steel
  • 10 Brahmin Meat
  • 5 Copper

Beta Wave Emitter

  • 5 Copper
  • 8 Aluminum
  • 4 Crystal
  • 3 Circuitry
  • 5 Nuclear Material
  • 2 Rubber

Small Generator

  • 2 Gear
  • 4 Steel
  • 2 Rubber
  • 2 Copper
  • 1 Ceramic

Medium Generator

  • 3 Screw
  • 3 Gear
  • 7 Steel
  • 3 Rubber
  • 3 Copper
  • 1 Ceramic

Everything except for Brahmin Meat can be bought from Myrna in Diamond City Market. Brahmin Meat can be bought from Polly in Diamond City Market. If you’ve bought everything from them, sit on a nearby chair and wait for 48 hours to replenish their inventory.

Once you have everything, pick a settlement. Ideally an empty one to avoid any issues with your settlers.

  • Connect the small generator to the Beta Wave Emitter. Don’t connect anything else to the small generator.
  • Build the 5 Mutant Hound Cages near the medium generator and connect each cage to the medium generator.
  • Make sure the Beta Wave Emitter is close to the cages.
  • Go rest until your 5 cages are full.
  • Make a save so you can reload in case anything goes wrong.
  • Open each of the cages to let the hounds out and then wait for them to all be tamed by the Beta Wave Emitter.
  • This will pop when all 5 are tamed at the same time.

Instigator

Start a Spectated Arena Fight in a Settlement

This can be earned by entering the settlement builder menu and going over to Cages > Arena. Build a Blue Team arena and a Red Team arena near each other. Next, build a Quitting Time Siren and connect it to a generator by the arenas. This can be found under Cages > Miscellaneous.

With everything built, you will need to assign a settler to each of the two arenas. Once you assign the second settler, ring the quitting time siren. You have to ring the siren quickly because the two settlers will begin their fight almost immediately as the second NPC is assigned to the arena.

Now, you just have to wait. This Trophy/Achievement will pop when other settlers get near to watch the two fighting settlers.

Trapper

Build One of Every Cage Type

There are 15 types of cages that you will need build for this Trophy/Achievement. The guerilla cage does not count toward this Trophy/Achievement as that is only available if you evacuated the Institute before destroying during the mains story.

All of the junk materials can be bought from Myrna in Diamond City Market. Some of the meat can be bought from Polly in Diamond City Market. If you’ve bought everything from them, sit on a nearby chair and wait for 48 hours to replenish their inventory.

Once you have everything required to build all of these, build them all at the same time at the same settlement. Make sure to save before building everything as this Trophy/Achievement has been known to be glitchy.
