Let’s keep the Gym battles rolling and head to the next one. This time it’ll be the Montenevera Gym. Ryme will have four Pokemon to deal with. Three Ghost types and a Toxtricity which is Electric and Poison. Dark type attacks will work best against the Ghost types and you can use Ground types against her Toxtricity.

Montenevera Gym
We can leave straight from Medali via the north east entrance to town.
Take the path out of town and follow it through West Province (Area Three). There will be a tree on your left shortly into the path with a trainer nearby to battle.

Beat the trainer and rest up at the Pokemon Center. When you’re ready, go north east and you’ll be following the path as it winds up the mountain.
Leave the Pokemon Center and you’ll meet another trainer.

Beat the trainer and you’ll have finally made it to Montenevera.
Head for the Gym and you’ll speak with Jacq as soon as you enter. He’ll give you a Lucky Egg and then leave. Speak to the person at the front desk to register for the Gym Test.
You’ll be tasked with warming up the crowd as an opening act. But all that means is that you’ll be battling three trainers in a row in double battles. Speak to MC Sledge in front of the stage outside of the Gym. Your team will be healed between each battle.

Beat Ryme for your fifth badge. You’ll be given TM114 Shadow Ball and Pokemon up to level 50 will now obey you.
After the battle, Hassel will speak to you in the Gym and then this step will be completed.







Great walkthrough, the only part i had a somewhat difficult time with is going vs gym leader Larry in the elite 4. I ended up defeating the majority of the elite 4 only to be defeated by Larry.
