Next up we’ll be heading to the Levincia Gym. You’re going to need to pass through East Province (Area Two) to reach it. This Gym has a focus on Electric types, so use Ground or Rock type Pokemon to get the edge.

East Province (Area Two)

Fly to Artazon and take the east exit to begin your trek through East Province (Area Two).

Head down the path and you’ll come to your first trainer here.

Shortly after the first trainer, you’ll find another as you get closer to the Pokemon Center.

Heal your Pokemon at the Pokemon Center. Another Pokemon League rep can be found here as well. The goal is to beat five trainers here for the reward. So far, we only have two.

You’ll notice a Team Star base nearby. We’ll skip that for now and continue toward Levincia Gym.

We’re actually gonna take a shortcut here now that we can surf. From the Pokemon Center, head north toward the river and surf across.

Just before we cross the river, we can battle a trainer.

Cross the river to the other side and another trainer is waiting to be beat.

Make your way to the path straight ahead and go left just a little bit to find one more trainer to battle.

Continue heading up this path and it’ll start to curve to the right. There will be another trainer where the path begins to curve.

After beating the Cabbie, head toward the Pokemon Center in the distance. There will also be another trainer straight ahead.

Head up to the Pokemon Center and rest up. It’ll also give us a new fast travel point for later.

With all that taken care of, we’re going to head for Levincia, but we’ll take a quick little detour to battle two more trainers and get a little stronger for the battles to come.

Surf across the water down from the Pokemon Center and over to the ruins.

Head east toward Levincia and there will be one more trainer on this side for us to take out.

With that out of the way, we can now go to Levincia. Surf back across and head toward the city. As you approach the city entrance, there will be one more trainer to battle out here.

Beat Cristian and enter the city.

Levincia

Heal up at the Pokemon Center and get the Stomping Tantrum TM from the Pokemon League rep here.

There are some shops here, so explore the city and head for the Gym when you’re ready to move on.

There is an NPC standing near the center of town next to the battle arena, that will offer a trade. You can trade her a Pincurchin and she’ll send you a Haunter. Even better yet, the Haunter will evolve into Gengar as soon as you receive it after the trade. The NPC in question will have an orange text bubble above her head. She’ll be standing near the railing next to where the battles take place in the center of town. Pincurchin can be found near the Seas along the beaches of Paldea

As soon as you enter the Gym, you’ll receive a call from Nemona. She’ll then show up and challenge you to a battle.

Nemona

  • Weak to whatever starter you chose

She will give you three Full Heals after the battle. Now, you’ll be back at the Gym. Start the next test.

Go outside to begin the test. You’re going to be part of a live stream that will have you finding Director Clavell. You will need to find him three times. Each time you find him, you’ll have to battle a trainer.

He will be sitting at a table for the first hiding spot.

Gym Trainer Marti

He will be behind the counter of the Pokemon Center for the second spot.

Gym Trainer Michael

He will be sitting on a boat in the third spot.

Congrats, you passed the test. Now heal up your Pokemon if you need to and then hit the Gym and grab that third badge.

Iono

• Wattrel Lv. 23

• Mismagius Lv. 24
  • Weak to Ghost, Dark

Iono’s Mismagius can be a pain when it Terastallizes. It will use Confuse Ray a lot, so equip your Pokemon with Persim Berries if you have them. Remember that Mismagius is weak against Dark and Ghost type moves.

Beat Iono and the third badge will be yours along with TM048 Volt Switch. Pokemon up to level 35 will obey you as well.

After the battle, you’ll be back in the Gym lobby and will meet with Geeta of the Pokemon League.

After that conversation, it’ll be time to move on to the next objective.
