Stony Cliff Titan & Artazon Gym
Next up will be the first step of the Path of Legends questline and the second step of the Victory Road questline. The first Titan is on the way to Artazon Gym, so we’ll knock both of these steps out at the same time.
Klawf is the first Titan Pokemon we’ll be taking on. Klawf is a Rock type, so bring a Water or Grass type.
The Artazon Gym Leader will use Grass type Pokemon, so make sure to have a Fire or Flying type to counter them.

Stony Cliff Titan
Make sure your party is healed up and head for the eastern entrance of Mesagoza and you’ll enter South Province (Area Three).
As soon as you enter, there will be another NPC at a picnic table. Speak to her and you’ll receive a variety of ingredients. You can also speak to her to heal your Pokemon if needed.
Just like before, you can stay on the path to reach Klawf. Or you can go off the path and explore South Province (Area Three) to pick up the items that line your path, catch Pokemon and battle more trainers.

There is another Pokemon League rep at the Pokemon Center. He will give you a Shell Bell for defeating six trainers in the region. Continue on and you’ll come to another picknicker on the right side of the path. He will heal your Pokemon as well as give you a variety of ingredients.
There will also be another tower nearby that you can climb. You’ll find a Metronome TM and a Gimmighoul at the top.
When you’re done at the watchtower, continue on the path and it’ll start to slope down. You’ll come to a sign that says, To Artazon (You’re nearly there). At this sign, look to your left to see the Titan Pokemon.
Klawf
Approach the Klawf and it’ll start to crawl up the wall. Follow it up and around by taking the path on the right.
Approach it at the top and it’ll be time to battle it.
When you get its health low, it’ll run away. Follow it again. When you reach it, it’ll open up a cave in the side of the wall and then Arven will join you. It’ll be time for another battle against the Klawf.
After the battle, you’ll automatically enter the cave with Arven and find the Herba Mystica. Arven will make a badge for you for completing this step. He’ll also make food out of the Herba Mystica that you can feed to your Koraiden/Miraidon to give it a new dash ability.
As you step outside, you’ll receive a call from Professor Sada/Turo. And with that, this step will be completed and we can head for the next Gym in Artazon.
Artazon Gym
With the Klawf Titan out of the way, get back on the path where we turned at the sign and head east to Artazon.
From here, continue on the path. From this section on, you’ll be able to catch a few new Pokemon in the region.
- Growlithe
- Nymble
- Murkrow – Night
- Shuppet – Night
- Oricorio
- Drifloon – Night
- Scarlet Only
- Tandemaus
- Squawkabilly
Trainers to battle:
- Cristina the Student
- Gastly Lv. 13
- Murkrow Lv. 13
- Amaia the Student
- Happiny Lv. 13
As you reach Artazon, heal up your Pokemon if needed.
As you enter the Gym, you’ll meet up with Nemona again. She’ll give you three Ethers and then leave. Speak to the front desk person to start the Gym Test. The test at this Gym is Sunflora Hide-and-Seek.
You’re going to need to find 10 Sunflora “hidden” around Artazon and then bring them to Sunflora Lawn. Leave the Gym and go right to find the Sunflora Lawn. Speak to the person there to begin the test.
As soon as you turn around, there will be four Sunflora in sight. Three right next to you and the fourth across the sidewalk near the center of town. When you approach the fourth one in the center, it will run away. Chase it down and press A. You will then have to battle it in order to get it to follow you.
The fifth and sixth Sunflora are found next to the pool on the left side of the Gym.
The seventh is found on a flower pot behind the Gym.
The eighth can be found behind a small concrete wall up some stairs near the entrance to town.
The ninth can be found on a flower pot in front of one of the stores near the entrance to town.
The tenth and final Sunflora can be found behind the building where the ninth was found on a flower pot next to some benches.
Now that you have all 10, bring them back to the Sunflora Lawn to pass the test.
Return to the Gym and speak to the person at the front desk to begin the battle against Brassius.
Brassius
Brassius
- Petilil Lv. 16
- Weak to Fire, Bug, Flying, Ice, Poison
- Smoliv Lv. 16
- Weak to Fire, Bug, Flying, Ice, Poison, Fighting
- Sudowoodo Lv. 17
- Water, Fighting, Ground, Grass, Steel
Brassius will Terastallize Sudowoodo, making it a little tougher, but it shouldn’t be a problem as long as you play the weakness matchup. Fire attacks are still very effective.
With the battle over, Brassius will give you your second badge. This will allow Pokemon up to level 30 to obey you. You’ll also receive TM020 Trailblaze.
When the scene is over, you’ll be back in the Gym. You’ll meet Hassel of the Elite Four and have a conversation with him.
With that over, we can now fly back to Cortondo to face the next Titan.

Great walkthrough, the only part i had a somewhat difficult time with is going vs gym leader Larry in the elite 4. I ended up defeating the majority of the elite 4 only to be defeated by Larry.
